[X] Collapse
-Bring the entirety of what's left of the Geass Order's HQ down on the entrance, and block it off for the foreseeable future

Rico: "Kaboom?"

Skipper: "Yes, Rico. Kaboom."

[X] Guard

Tentatively voting for this option when it comes to deciding what to do with the Thought Elevator entrance.

So, how should we slow any attempts at recapture?

Unless we can layer the inside with enough explosives to turn it into Ultimate Difficulty Minesweeper, collapsing the place seems like it would only lengthen the work necessary to get it running, without any real monitoring to keep us informed, while Guarding it runs the risk of a forceful recapture of it fully functional, but we could send reinforcements quicker.

Put Britannia in a lose-lose situation by attacking an important target of theirs (like, say, their homeland or another Thought Elevator), forcing them to either abandon the attempt of recapturing the Elevator in Taklamaklan or press on with it, but risk losing the other target to us.

Family Reunion
Dead or Alive

February UE 0084
Aboard the Ikaruga

As the Ikaruga makes for Japan, Lelouch, Kallen, and Shirley wait outside of the ship's medical bay.

A few minutes later, Marianne vi Britannia emerges with an exhausted look on her face.

"How is she?" Lelouch asks.

"I was able to restore her to normal, but it wasn't easy." Marianne says.

"What...happened?" Shirley asks in confusion.

"I don't know why, but C.C. sealed off every memory she had after the moment she was granted her Geass. The nurses say she can take visitors, but, well...try to watch what you say." Marianne says.

Before she walks away, she pats Lelouch on the shoulder before leaning over and whispering in his ear.

"Not bad. If your father wasn't on such bad terms with you, he'd be proud." Marianne whispers.

She pats him on the shoulder again before walking away, accompanied by Elle and Beecha.

Lelouch, Kallen, and Shirley share a silent moment.

"Well, shall we?" Kallen says, walking up and opening the door to the medical bay.

At the sight of her lovers, C.C. looks away before glancing down at the floor.

"How are you?" Lelouch asks.

The silence seems to stretch on for minutes before C.C. speaks up.

"I...I'm sorry. It's just...I felt so...tired." C.C. says, tears coming down her face.

Lelouch wipes away C.C.'s tears with a tissue before touching his forehead to hers.

"Given what I saw in there, I can imagine. I promise, that whatever time we have together, we'll make it something you can always look back on fondly." Lelouch says.

C.C. smiles.

"I'll hold you to that." She says before cupping Lelouch's face in her hands and kissing him.

Kallen and Shirley hug C.C. from the side, and she turns to give each of them a quick peck on the cheek.

Saotome Institute research labs.

Dr. Saotome grumbles as he and the engineering crew assisting him look over the disassembled Big Horn they had been analyzing over the past month.

"I didn't like the Council before, and I like them even less now." Saotome says.

"What makes you say that, Professor?" One of the engineers asks.

"It's a design with wasted potential." Saotome explains as he digs through several folders of analysis documents. Finding the object of his desire, he opens it up and flips through the pages.

"For starters, the reactor. Based on what Mithril gave us, it's based off of their knock-off Ahab reactor, but even further than what the Whispered say a genuine article is like. The result? A lot less power. More than what something like a mobile suit can safely use, but not even close to what the original Mazinger Z needed, much less something like Getter Robo."

"Seems like the only positive thing about this reactor is that's easy to manufacture." An engineer notes.

Saotome snorts.

"For a given value of 'easy'. Can you pump reactors like these by the shipload from an assembly line? Yes. Could the process be streamlined without losing any efficacy? Also yes, if we're right." Saotome picks up a thermos and takes a chug of green tea.

"And let's not even get started on the armor plating. They didn't even give it actual nano-laminate armor, just...some kind of cheap derivative that barely resembles the original. About the only thing it's good for is as a single-use ablative layer against most attacks." Saotome continues. "Not that the under-layer is much better, it's just carbon fiber plates, steel, and titanium. Not even lunar titanium or that E-Carbon knockoff they give the elite pilots."

The engineers look over the disassembled weapons of the Big Horn.

"The weapons seem...disappointing as well." One of them says.

"Oh yes. Whatever 'genius' decided to implement laser-induced particle cannons as a weapon for a Super Robot must be very well connected. The heat and cooling issues alone would have caused Juzo or me to seek alternatives immediately." Saotome says.

Saotome sighs.

"Overall, the Big Horn seems like a vanity project. One that was made just to prove that it could be done, without any other thought given for efficacy or power." He concludes.

"Is there nothing we can use from this?" An engineer asks.

"Oh, I wouldn't say that. Based on this, and what the other research groups got from the elite Council machines, I have an idea for something..." Saotome says, a glint in his eyes.

Dragon's Hive

As the transport containing you and the original Dancouga team touches down, you glance at Shinobu.

"How's it feel, being back after...when did you say Emperor Muge staged his invasion again?" You ask.

"It was during the tail end of the reconstruction era when the UN Spacey was still kind of in control. The space colonies hadn't been completed yet." Shinobu says.

You give an impressed whistle.

"The pre-UE era, huh? You must be disappointed about...well...all this." You gesture outside the window to refer to the current state of the world.

"I mean, it is a little disheartening, but considering the N.U.N.S. seems to have its head on straight, I'm not completely disappointed." Shinobu shrugs.

The transport doors open, and you lead the Dancouga team out to meet the Dancouga Nova team. As soon as you see Aoi, you realize she's behaving radically differently from how she normally does. She seems almost...giddy.

As you get closer, you realize what it is: she's star-struck.

"Shinobu-senpai! Uh, I can call you senpai...right?" Aoi asks sheepishly.

"I...I guess?" Shinobu says as he shares a glance with the rest of his team.

"Sorry, it's just...I never thought I'd meet my senpai in the original Dancouga team! We have so much to learn from you!" Aoi gushes.

Sara sighs.

"I swear, you're like the daughter Shinobu and I haven't had yet." She smiles as she ruffles Aoi's hair, who blushes in embarrassment.

Well...this'll be interesting. You think to yourself.

END OF TURN RESULTS

The Grungust is now available for research!
Gunbuster repairs are now available!
Alan Igor is being thawed from cryostasis-Final Dancouga will be available in the future!
Britannia is weakened by the loss of Geass Order HQ! Political instability ensues as Charles zi Britannia has seemingly gone missing!
The Jovian Federation is polarized as those who desire peace use Kusukabe's failed attempt to assassinate Tsukumo as ammunition to try and discredit him!

The Council plots...Samsara fears they will make a big move soon...

A/N: The end of Turn 13. Please discuss and critique!

You know the more I read about the part where Saotome critics the council forces.

The more I feel like the leader of the council is just one scientist that got laughed out of the community because he though his designs were the next revolution in technology, when it reality it was just a cobbled piece of random stuff with ductape that even Boss would look and say that it won't work.

Then he got spiteful that his ''OC's donut steel'' got laughed at and went on a revenge path.

Like the council themselve spew that their machines are so superior and yet the further we look at them the more they look like they are really just held together by ductape.

The only reason they really get anything done it is because they can mass produce in such quantities that they overwhelm pretty much anyone with numbers and are probably like vultures.

Like Daida outright said they lost like 5 or 6 supers just to take down Gaiking the great.

ALSO SAOTOME YOU MADMAN, I WOULD HUGH YOU RIGHT NOW IF I COULD JUST CAUSE WE GOT ACCESS TO THE GRUNGUST.

On the other hand nice to see Lelouch and the girls just really have a nice and healthy relationship, they really deserve it considering how Geass canon usually goes.

As for Dancouga stuff it was a nice thing.

On the other hand nice to see we are getting Final Dancouga in the future.

Brittania and the Jovians getting unrest within their ranks will do us wonders if we have to take other events not related to nadesico and Geass.

Also we need to start repairing the Gunbuster ASAP, that thing will be one of our top aces once it is at full power once again.

Also looks like we are retaliating againts the council with the wave motion gun pretty soon.

That sounds like Coop from Megas XLR who did exactly what you said. Except that he made them work somehow despite others finding it impossible and ridiculous.

Coop even used duct tape as well.

Oh no... Does that mean the leader of The Council is actually Evil Coop? The one whose war mech is a Sazabi expy and his army are white colored Zakus with red GN Particle rifles?

OH MY GOD THE GRUNGUST AHHHHHHHHHH

I didn't think we could get the OGs units! Oh my God this is amazing! Wait... does this mean we get Gespensts? PLEASE TELL ME WE GET GESPENSTS!

Wonder if the Post Disaster Era is going to show up next or if the Council has something else ready to compensate for their loss at Jupiter. Whatever it is, we'll have to be ready for it (we most likely won't have the Gunbuster ready for whatever stunt the Council is about to pull)

If parts of the Jovian Federation are starting to turn against Kusakabe, then we should be somewhat closer to removing them as a threat from the board by turning them into an allied faction, we just need to remove him from power. As for Britannia, we are getting closer to some pivotal events in Code Geass' plot, but unlike Nadesico, we have 2 people of importance to deal with (Charles and Schneizel).

Turn 14: All the Galaxy's a Stage
March UE 0084
Sanc Kingdom

Nunnally vi Britannia watches as Sheryl Nome and Ranka Lee perform a duet on stage to a cheering crowd. If she recalls correctly, they're performing from Side 6.

View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JquUm6ji1cQ

As she watches, the door to her room opens, and she glances back to see Alice and Sancia enter the room. The two of them join her, and watch the Galactic Fairy and Superdimensional Cinderella perform until it goes to commercial.

"How did things go?" Nunnally asks.

"We managed to kill the leader of the Geass Order and capture what they'd built the base around. Apparently it's called a 'Thought Elevator'." Sancia says.

"And...Rolo?" Nunnally asks.

Alice and Sancia share a look.

"Kallen says that they never really got a chance to try and talk with him. The Colony Gundam pilots ended up killing him as a result." Alice says somberly.

"And...your last squad member?" Nunnally asks hopefully.

"She refused treatment and died after saying 'All hail Britannia'." Alice says.

Nunnally stares down at the floor.

"Even though Rolo was a fake sibling...I still...cared for him...just a little. And I wanted to get to know Mao better..." Nunnally says, tears welling up in her eyes.

Nunnally starts crying before burying her head in Alice's chest, who wraps her arms around Nunnally's shoulders before kissing her on the head.

Nunnally continues crying for a brother that she never really had, and a friend she never got to know.

VOTE BY PLAN

Personal Actions (Pick THREE)

[ ] Talk with Samsara
-Spend some time with the closest thing aside from the girls to family. And maybe find out what the timetable for upgrading the Rose looks like.

[ ] Talk with Noriko
-Noriko's copilot for Gunbuster, Kazumi, is still recovering from whatever is ailing her under the care of the N.U.N.S. Given that she's in an unfamiliar dimension, and that you have questions about your dimension of conception, why not spend some time with her?

[ ] Relax (Stress level, Moderate-Moderately high)

[ ] Bond with a copilot
-[ ] Lucia
-[ ] Yukari
-[ ] Nina

[ ] Socialize with someone else (may be picked twice)
-Pick anyone from the allied character sheet

Research Actions (Pick TWO)

[ ] Grungust Development
-Professor Saotome's idea for a somewhat mass-producible Super Robot seems to have caught with the other Super Robot institutes. The technology required for such a thing is not in question-it most certainly exists-the question is what the finer points of the design should be.
-[ ] Grungust Type 1
-A triple changer, with Super Robot, Jet (Wing Gust), and Gust Lander (Tank) modes. Such a design would be more expensive due to the number of mechanisms involved, but its power would not be in question.
-[ ] Grungust Type 2
-Keep it (relatively) simple with a single alternate form, just the Wing Gust mode. Slightly less power, but also less resource intensive to manufacture.

[ ] Counterfeit Bronze Bell
-With Himika having stolen the Bronze Bells-and with them, the ability to use both Jeegs-Professor Shiba is trying to come up with alternatives to enable them. Big Falcon and the Nanbara Connection might have a solution, although it definitely won't be a perfect substitute for having the Bronze Bells...
-Will enable Steel Jeeg and Kotetsu Jeeg to be used before the Jeeg finale
-Both units will suffer maluses in combat, especially if they have to fight the Jama Kingdom

[ ] Formula for Victory
-Although the Gundam F90 has seen little use beyond testing, OZ engineers believe that a successor unit is feasible, and would be far more effective despite the loss in modularity. To be most effective, however, it would have to be piloted by a newtype...
-Will grant access to the Gundam F91. Further research along this path will unlock mobile suits from Victory Gundam

[ ] Double Zed Quantum Particle Physics
-The Vashtis think they have a solution for the 00 Gundam's unreliable Twin Drive System. They plan to make an add-on module they call the 0 Raiser.
-Will grant access to the 00 Raiser

Solar Vanguard Actions (Pick FIVE)

[ ] Repair Gunbuster
-Given the good showing Gunbuster had at Jupiter despite being so heavily damaged, it seems wise to get it back into peak condition as soon as possible. However, even with the complete schematics and several hard drives explaining the scientific principles of Dr. Tannhauser, this is going to take a while...
-Repairs will take more than one turn
-Upon finishing repairs to Gunbuster, will unlock a research action to develop the Sizzler as an MP Super Robot
-Taking this actions represents significant material cost. As a result, available generic forces will be either less numerous, lower quality, or of less variety.
-While Gunbuster is under repair, Noriko will be available as a pilot for any generic Super Robot (i.e. the Grungust if it is developed)

[ ] Return to Cephiro
-The Magic Knights say that the Rune Gods are calling to them, and that they must return to Cephiro to protect it from encroaching invaders. According to them, it's not just the Council and Jama Kingdom, but other worlds 'adjacent' to Cephiro that are making a move on it. Send some assistance, and make sure Cephiro stays under control of Cephirans.

[ ] Galactic Tunes
-Sheryl Nome and Ranka Lee, along with their SMS escort, are continuing their tour of the Earth Sphere to raise awareness of the plight of the Frontier Colonization Fleet. Behind closed doors, the captain of the Quarter has confided in Solar Vanguard higher-ups that Fold signatures that match what happens when Vajra arrive were detected on the edge of the Solar System. Provide a sizeable escort in case something happens.

[ ] Back from the store
-A Boazanian spacecraft has crash-landed in Thailand. Every transmission the ship sent before contact was lost is heavily distorted, but from what could be made out, at least one of the occupants is Professor Go, the long-missing father of three of the Voltes pilots. Send a search and rescue team, along with Voltes V itself, to find the erstwhile Professor and bring him home.

[ ] Peek through the blinds
-With Himika's flying fortress having made it to space and parking in orbit around the moon, things around that area have been thrown into complete chaos. Send the Archangel and Eternal to do recon and get a clearer picture of what's going on.

[ ] Essence of Evolution
-An unusual amount of Invader activity has been detected in the wilderness of Japan. Professor Saotome has disclosed that there is a dumping ground for failed Getter prototypes in that particular area. Send Shin Getter Robo, Texas Mack, and a sizable force to investigate.

[ ] Zugzwang
-Although it is too soon to mount an invasion of the Britannian Isles given the amount of prep work required, intelligence can still be gathered. Send in spies to find out what's going on, with a special focus on finding out what Schneizel intends to do with F.L.E.I.J.A.

A/N: The start of turn 14. Please vote, discuss, and critique!

We should probably relax and talk to Noriko. Other options are all equally good tbh.

For research...we can't not get the 00-Raiser, can we? We're going to need that, and it's basically upgrading a Gundam into a Super Robot.

For the other research option...does the Grungust Type-2 come with its TK Field? Maybe if we put a Newtype in it? I don't recall that we've recruited any OG Psychodrivers so maybe it's unavailable.

And for the faction actions, my only opinion is we need to get started on repairing Gunbuster now. Everything else is a matter of prioritization, but GB's just going to be more of a hassle to fix the longer we leave it.

I think for the Socializing we should go with these three and I would argue that if we are talking to Noriko we should also talk to Amuro and Noriko specifically called out to him after we arrived to assist her and he friends so Captain Ray must of had a impact on her.

For the research actions I think we should do the Gungrust action and then either one of these other to. We should make sure the Jeeg Pilots have a way to fight even with reduced capability and having the F91 that lets us then jump to Victory suits would be a pretty big body to all our forces.

For our regular actions I would say fixing the Gunbuster up is a important thing to do and that we need to start on it quickly. Cephiro is connected to Earth state so we need to make sure it does not get worse then it already is and it's in a pretty bad state at the moment. We should make sure the Varja don't pull anything and getting Professor Go home alive should help us make sure the Voltes V stuff turns out better then it did in cannon. We kind of ignored the Steel Jeeg stuff so we really should keep a eye on what Himika is up to. Lastly I really should not need to point out how the Invaders messing around with discarded Getter Robo test machines could lead to a disaster. Plus I like the fact we are Keeping the Getter Timeline on the better tracks it can go down and don't want to lose the Doctor or Michru.

For research, since we decided earlier to capture Louise, 00 Raiser is of significant interest to us as a step towards snapping her our of Ribbons' control, so that's one Research action decided for. As for the other Research action, I'm tempted to go for the F91 research.

As for Solar Vanguard actions... Repair Gunbuster, Galactic Tunes, Essence of Evolution and Zugzwang are things I feel like we should handle (Galactic Tunes is a follow-up to an action we didn't take last turn, albeit an action that wasn't critical at the time; we also ought to get a pulse on whatever the Invaders are trying to do and Schneizel's plans regarding FLEIJA). So that leaves 1 more action we can take.

So, I say getter and Gunbuster are a must for this turn.

Geass is probably important since we need to deal with that

The invaders fucking around the getter disposal site could mean they are trying to make metal beast dragons.

Gunbuster will be useful, especially if we can get it on some of the early final scenarios.

Cephiro I say is also important, we know Nova is running around and that Debonair may already be plotting stuff

I say we continue investing in Voltes V plot, we are already pretty deep into it.

For research I say the 00 and the grungust, as mentioned before we do need that to unbrainwash Louise, not only we get one more pawn off of Ribbons board but alsso have something nasty prepared to him during the 00 finale.

The grungust despite not having the TKfield is still a pretty solid super robot even by this point of the story.

[X] Grungust Development
-Professor Saotome's idea for a somewhat mass-producible Super Robot seems to have caught with the other Super Robot institutes. The technology required for such a thing is not in question-it most certainly exists-the question is what the finer points of the design should be.
-[X] Grungust Type 1

We may not have Irm, but we don't absolutely need him for the Ishiki to work at full power. The Type 2, meanwhile, is gonna be crippled unless we miraculously discover the existence of Psychodrivers. I'm gonna have to advise the Type 1.

[X] Double Zed Quantum Particle Physics

I don't like mini MS. *shrug*

[X] Repair Gunbuster

I want.

[X] Essence of Evolution

Would rather not find out the hard way what the Invaders would do with a bunch of broken Getters.

[X] Zugzwang

Find out what WMD man is planning.

[X] Return to Cephiro

We are not letting the girls do this alone.

[X] Peek through the blinds

Let's not ignore Jeeg again.
