Why this one instead of, say, "Grav Lance"?
With a DC of 250 it should be doable with our three hearths in a single turn and it improves all exotic weapons a nice boost i want to have before the invasion. Moving the planets around can wait till after the invasion as we are about to start building a lot of Meta shields.

Did a bit of tests over on Rolz for the value that could be expected and for 2 actions on learning it was solidly in the 1400 to 1800 range over the course of 10 rolls, for one action it never went below 600 and had a max of 800 in ten rolls.

I forgot to list the types of education that Nameria and Harkar would not approve of. Nameria would not approve of Specialist education standards and Limited Innovation, Harkar will not approve of Open Innovation and Full Discourse. Adding this to the turn post.

(Effect: Atraxas applies the full bonus of Faith to Learning/Martial and Legal actions, and the Exatari gain the ability to provide Faith to The Witness accelerating its Ascension.)
So, on a scale of 1-10, how likely is The Witness to Smite us immediately upon attaining the expanded perspective and reach offered by godhood?
On an alternate 1-10, how likely is it to change any of its opinions based on said expanded perspective?

Okay changes are finished. Added the Ruin Library and Dark Age Gellar Field. Btw I really must stress doing the Assault action on the Hulk for 2 reasons: 1) We don't want it to disrupt our work before the invasion and the sector's defenses during it 2) We can get cool shit from it.

If there are any other suggestions I am open to them

Currently 0 for the smiting thing, thats not how the Witness behaves. The Witness would only smite Atraxas if it thought he was going to become an Architect or trying to break the Exatari Society. Its hands off these days.

As for changing its view that is harder to say, but it will wait and see how Atraxas handles things and use that to shape things. The Last Forge Scholar that broke in this fashion was literal eons ago, and was part of the dark era of Exatari history. The Witness doesnt know how modern Exatari will respond to Breaking so it will just watch Atraxas.

Dont we need a fleet with battleships to even stand a chance to do anything to it?

The Ad Mech has put an indictment zone around it for any fleet activity. Its known to consume energy making ships almost entirely useless against it, there are some theories among the Ad Mech that it can use that energy to enact repairs.

You cant find a new Learning Advisor yet, since you havent gotten rid of the tech priest and I will state that he does have the backing of a Fabricator General of a local forge world.

Getting there would require getting within a few km and all of our wargear runs on electricity anyway.
Technically you can use chemical propulsion to get a boarding party onboard with hydraulics and pneumatic systems with only kinetic weapons and that would work. Atraxas is smart enough to figure out the loop holes in this field if he can see it and poke it a bit. I will say that this is more of a puzzle than a true fight which is why its giving the Imperium fits.

I believe the idea is that Atraxas' weapons tech can bypass that issue. Inversion beams for example are unlikely to be the sort of thing conventional energy absorption systems can work on

@Kirbstomp

Even discounting energy absorption this is a DAOT ship that survived thousands of years. There are bound to be a lot more nasty suprises to it. Ones that we cannot handle at the moment. Not to mention it would agitate the Admech. Better to keep the learning assistant action. Otherwise it seems we're just throwing away lives and ships.

So it'll be more of a Learning check than a proper combat action?
Pretty much yeah, the Imperium is just not suited to figuring out the loopholes in the energy consumption and repair systems that the ship is using. The Ad Mech has about a billion theories on it, but half of them boil down to "Its Magic" and none of them are useful enough to actually use them to predict things. Some say that psykers will work, others say that only blanks will work, while yet other say that anything will be consumed, and then another set say that the ship doesnt actually exist and its a spacetime anomaly that the DAoT made somehow.
