Holy star child the fuck!
Gained Trait - Slumbering Titan - Doubles the Action Cost of Development, but automatically improves all Dev-Levels to at least 5 if they sink below.
This is an amazing trait to have for us and our nation it makes maintaining our dev levels a lot easier. I wonder if when we get all tens that'll this upgrade to maintain everything at ten as well.
[] A Bounty of Labor
Oh god I'm extremely tempted to go for this 25 actions would allow us to do a massive amount of research and colonization while also focusing on other areas we've neglected.

And I mean I can understand if people are tempted by the trait upgrade but again 25 actions! That's not something we're going to get ever again and with all our traits as is we're pretty good on the anti-chaos side of things. Which makes me inclined to go with this and I would hope others would too.

We have to pick actions, we can upgrade everything and with the left over get shit done like research and propaganda

Remember that Interstellar Shipping Companies are really really good and we should get them if we take the 3 traits option

Also, don't knock the ISCs or Beacons just yet, thread. They enable you to get more bang for your buck depending on who you choose your initial crop to be. Getting double Inf/Ind or more ships per Action can be a better active investment than a passive one if properly done. (You will choose which three bonuses/ISCs you get to become a patron of if they are chosen.)
Interstellar Shipping Company.

They are basically a mechanical buff out of a roster of three initial choices you can choose and swap around at will. The specifics are decided if you chose them here, but they can get you double production of a certain ship class, more Civilian Industry/Heavy Industry per Action put into them, increases in military R&D, or automatic colonization without costs.

Can we get a grandfather clause for going from Void IX to Void X, @HeroCooky , since we've been there before?
Eh, sure, why not.
@HeroCooky is Beacon single step upgrade or more? Does it allow our people to safely touch a demon once, or does it do more?
It is a single-step upgrade, and I will not tell you what it does. Just that it is better.
I wonder if when we get all tens that'll this upgrade to maintain everything at ten as well.
That Trait has an All X, All XV, and All XX version too.

Does the ISC bonus stuff cost actions, or is it a free buff-switching thing, @HeroCooky ?

We aren't getting it via the 25, but we can get close a few of them via this which is worth a lot.

While I actually kind of want the Traits, another funny option would be to make one of the Actions the, uh, thing with the Merchants to double the effect of Infra Gain. :p

Also remember that actions cost less as we get bigger as well. It's 2 actions sure but if we expand further it can easily go back to one action a turn.

I mean on one hand this is awesome since we don't need to worry about it dropping below 5 anymore makes hive world way way easier but everything cost twice as much to improve dev any further is...not great

25 bountry action not that intresnted in to be honest just cause it a one time thing that won't last in the long turn more intresnted in grabbing previous options we didn't get a chance too or the other stuff that last in the long term

like this which double how many ships we can produce and we really need to pump out ships

or this option which grants us 0.1 research progress each turn which combined with our hertic refuge which grants .2 for every research actions we can really start chruning out research/making way more progess on it

getting rid of all malnutrion would be awesome big qol of thing

the appeal of this one does not need to be stated
Don't sleep on this:
[] Civilian Warp Fleets
Prosperity attracts prosperity. With the lack of stringent taxation by the Imperium in the form of blood and materials, the various systems of the Federation begin to see an increase in the wealth of their population and upper crust. Thanks to the massive build-up of Void Infrastructure of the Candle Keepers, this wealth has been primarily invested in creating several cargo ships owned by groups of wealthy citizens holding shares of the same. These giants owned by these Interstellar Shipping Companies now ply the Warp Routes between the systems of the Candle Keepers, bringing wealth, cargo, information, culture, people, and a growing sense of true nationhood between otherwise isolated polities.
(You can now designate [Civilian Transport] to move your forces, totaling 20% of your controlled systems. Doing so will negatively impact your economy. The systems of the Candle Keepers grow stronger through closer cultural and economic ties. ISCs are unlocked, and patronage of them will positively impact your economy. Can be Upgraded/Chosen Again.)
Cooky on what the ISCs are:

"Getting double Inf/Ind or more ships per Action"

Unrelatedly, the Slumbering Titan trait does make it so that integrating the Hive World just got a lot easier... I mean, not easy, but we can at least keep to a baseline and rebuild Void Industry once it takes that big hit.

Yeah I feel if we do take the 25 action points they shouldn't be spent on our dev levels but instead be put into research, propaganda, colonization and whatnot since those areas are generally stuff we leave to the wayside. And just think with 25 actions we can get a whole slew of new tech for our nation and armed forces which would be extremely useful for whenever we go and fight chaos in sub sector 621.

We can get two traits from reaching X in two infrastructures, though. And in exchange we get closer to All-X if that's a thing we're interesting in reaching.
Obviously it's way better if we can use Jolly like you say, though I doubt @HeroCooky would allow us to abuse Jolly like this, but if we can..?
