I guess some questions for @HeroCooky!

1. What differentiates the Dirut Awaken from this bit of Awakening? Is it just not Dirut-dependent, or does it compound, or what?
2. How are our Pilgrim Fleets dealing with Psykers and Blanks? I can generally guess that they might be doing native-built Choirs for Psykers, but with how our Abyssal Order being set up, not sure how that might shake out for Blanks. Are they also Consecrating the worlds they reach or nah?
3. With us having so few Melodies left to do (relatively), if we spent 2 Actions on to upgrade every Melody, would you let us double-tap some Melodies to let them reach 3 (that means you won't have to draw the 2 and 3 separately for a few!)? If not would you let us use like, say, half an action (since we have 14 upgradable songs, so if we used 2 actions we'd technically have 0.6 remaining) to sing 2 Songs? Or I suppose more relevantly, if we just did 1 Action of Psykana and got the 1.5 from Class, could we use the 1.5 in Class to just get the 14 upgradable Melodies?
4. How does the Wetware Automata having "not quite a soul" if we pick that option interact with what we've got, i.e. Chaos Resistance traits? Actually, do they have Machine Spirits? This is... I guess kind of relevant considering Dutiful Spirits is at half-effectiveness if they don't.
5. Did we get anything mechanically relevant with the Lamenter History and Origin? How about just lore-wise, do we know why the Cursed Founding was Cursed or nah? Did we manage to snag anything interesting with "Origin," like do we know anything more about the Blood Angels and Sanguinius now? Would like to know if we just deadass wasted a decade of time of 5.5k Choirs lol

Anyways, since it's kinda inefficient to start doing Dev right away since we gotta switch ISCs (if it works) and I'd like to also test out if fishing for 50% boosts works with We Were before wasting my time making another big-ass plan post again, I'm thinking next turn to probably be 1 General Action and then 2 flex, either 2 MilProd for vanilla (we've got like 25/40 Flag Armadas and 135/200 SBGs, so at least we're at more than half of our Fleet Capacity again lmfao, or we can do some Titan Stuff idk -- 200 baby titans for a single action is nuts lol) or we do 5 Psykana for shits and giggles again.

If we're doing Psykana again, 2 Actions (or hopefully 1.5) will be reserved for Melodies, and that means 12 Songs are on the table again. Would like to start polling the thread for ideas again--

I'm personally thinking of

A Game With Death - Revenant x5 because I really want to play with Revenant
Slumber x5 - Because we really want to have a nonlethal option at some point I figure
CV01- Blue Twintails - Love, Song, Thule because we have Den of Vocaloids as a Ancient Site, so might as well figure that out.
Perception x5 - Because god damn we don't have a conventional scrying tool yet, and Perception songs seem to have a lot of juice.
Immovable Object - Protection lll, Protection lll, Protection lll, Protection lll, Protection lll, which seems pretty juiced.

Any of these:

See The Way The Ancestors Progressed - Humanity Technology Perception Hope Progress
See The Homes Of The Ancestors - Humanity Technology Perception Hope Home
See The Homes The Ancestors Rising - Humanity Technology Perception Home Progress
See The Way The Ancestors Were - Humanity Technology Perception Perception Progress
See The Homes The Ancestors As They Were - Humanity Technology Perception Perception Home
See The Paths The Ancestors Took - Humanity Technology Perception Perception Hope

But I'd prefer Progressed + and Paths Took.

Either of these would be nice:

A Path Forseen Is One Easily Walked - Wisdom Logic Technology Progress Hope
Avoid Pitfalls Leading To Dead Ends - Perception Wisdom Technology Progress Hope

These seem interesting for Machine Spirit bros:

A Spark From Lumbering Machines - Machinery, Progress, Creativity, Hope, Technology

For Automata folks, any of these look interesting. Maybe replace Sun with Star though?

Blazing Automata Singing Together - Machinery Sun Song Family Humanity
Blazing Automata Singing Undivided - Machinery Sun Song Family Wisdom
Blazing Automata Singing Tearfully - Machinery Sun Song Family Hope
Blazing Automata Singing For Better Days - Machinery Sun Song Family Hope Humanity
Blazing Automata Brought Together - Machinery Sun Song Comunity Humanity
Blazing Automata Grown Together - Machinery Sun Song Growth Humanity

This in general:

Against Dark Tides By Gleaming Circuits - Protection, Hope, Grounding, Technology, Machinery.

As is this:

March, Artists, Unto That Canvas Of Blankness - Unity, Progress, Creativity, Song, Logic.

Probably want to shake out some more Thule Song ideas too, or just ideas not collated since November, since that's when the Song Idea informational was last updated.

Anyways, personally I'm voting for

[X] Sacred Sands - Cognitive

For general long-term stuff, especially since it says all worlds shielded by Sacred Sands would get the upgrade, and Sacred Sands was shared with every single Star Child cult iirc, so uh, yeah.

I'm fine with all options taken though -- Machine Spirits can do some REALLY cool stuff, not least like what the Black Cat's Claw did with just yanking the Chaos control from the Tyranid-Nurglite ships way back, that was nuts, and my heart of hearts wants the thread not to be cowards and do Autonomous Automata at some point, so that option would be nice too.

[X] Machine-Spirits - Waking
The spirits of the Machine are not at all similar to that of the Smeared Soul, yet attempts to bring them to waking states have, over the centuries, yielded more and more information on what not to do, what to do to avoid abomination, and what to do to increase resiliency. The Song of the Planet is the last piece in an incomprehensible puzzle to begin a poke...to wake the spirits up.

1. It is a very slow process that increases logarithmically the smaller the machine, while Dirut Monks actively rouse the spirits to awareness.
2. Putting 'em into stasis boxes and kicking them off once back in Federation territory. And no consecration, only preaching.
3. I'll allow it, but you'll get a +/-1 to the nearest Chaos Number in payment.
4. They have, and the "not-quite soul" would be more "getting all the bonuses without negatives" geared.
5. You'll find out, wont you? :V

We could just split it over two turns. Get the three level 1 Melodies to level 2 in the first turn, then finish everything on the second turn.

Hmm, maybe; yeah. I like the 2 => 5 of the Psykana too much; but I have penciled in flexible actions so people could have some variation in their votes.

Could just get 16 songs then lol

Oooh, interesting, so we actually do have properly awakened Machines, but alright this is just what we got without them. Neat.

Risky business, I suppose I'll not play with that sorta thing when we're gonna be rolling 5 dice.

Thanks for answering!
