Because literally everything we've said and done so far have been emotional. We haven't displayed much personality, but every single bit we have has shown a lot of care for emotion. We told Mom that all we wanted in life was to be with our family and clan. We flat out tell our dad that our wildest greatest dream was to love him and be loved by him. We tell Kakashi we dislike lonely people because they are people who have something to say and no one to say it to. For being a very blunt kid, we are also very emotionally-oriented and empathic.

Edit : And even then, what kind of kid can't say what they liek and dislike? Dreams are more lofty and I could see us not being sure, but just what you like? We should atleast be able to say we like bonbons, or we like our mommy, or something.

A template of what I would hope is a mix of the common 'Good Guy' trope with a more pragmatic world view. If there is one thing I hate about Naruro is the actual Naruto's naive and idealistic world view, so I hope we can curtail that early on.

I'm open to discuss the plan and get others view on it and depending on the argument for or against something I'm very willing to change and tweak it.

This feels odd, given we actually haven't had any interaction with anything like that. We haven't really advanced much, let alone really had anything to do with science.

Again, we've had no interaction with anything of the sort in our life. I'm not sure why we'd have an opinion on it.

Unless Magoose says there is a problem with the vote, the vote is as valid as a logical-possibly-in-character vote. It's why I brought up in my earlier rant that whatever we say, anything goes, including the illogical. Then you said (sure, fine, we are a child, crazy shit is fine.).

I was not saying it's a invalid vote, I was saying why I don't like the vote. I don't personally like it because I don't see any reason for us to like that shit, but you could always say "Uh, it came from our robot part, a-doi" and there would be nothing I could say against that. Maybe MR Robo is having a stronger influence on us than I think, and that would be cemented with this vote.

Something I meant to ask, but forgot, why no Byakugan? You know, that thing that lets us see anything and everything within 20 miles of us and is capable of penetrating all but the most powerful of genjutsu?

1) No he's not, you'd probably need sage chakra atleast and even that might not cut it (sage genjutsu trumps Mangekyo Sharingan, but the Byakugan specializes in see good). Unless you are just saying he ran 20 miles, then I could buy that but damn he's speedy.
2) It doesn't sound like we even tried, when that should be our first instinct when looking for something. We only seemed to pull it out later to look at the cat.


Could throw in a line with him forbiding us from using chakra or something.

Except we only had the Byakugan on for a few moments, before we deactivated it, and caught on to several hints that would help us find it. It wasn't that we didn't use it, we didn't need to use the Byakugan, as we pieced together what he wanted without resorting to bloodline fuckery.

The cat itself was part of an illusion. And we did not have the skill to deactivate the illusion, so we just... used superstition and intuition to get away from it, leading to the comedy of errors that led to the MC getting to Kakashi.

...Is he using the Genjutsu we were in to fuck with our perception of the time of day, or did it get really late while we were looking for Kakashi?

Again, we didn't even use it to look for Kakashi, we just looked around and randomly started chasing a cat. We didn't even use the Byakugan till a few minutes later, to look at teh cat not even trying to find Kakashi.

The Byakugan would dispell the genjutsu for us. Or atleast see through it. That is it's thing, it's why the Hyuuga are by large considered immune to genjutsu, their All Seeing Eye just cuts right through it. That one guy with the stolen byakugan was able to punch right through Danzo's Kotoamatsukami, which is stated to be the pinnacle of genjutsu. Taking the ability to effectively no-sell Genjutsu nerfs the Byakugan by a large margin.
