Yeah once we study the lance in full, one of my ideas of the eggmemos is him just gushing over at how such thing was even possible and why the empire doesn't has access to such knowledge.

My other guess is the original Archie Sonic. Robotnik causing the original timeline to be completely overwritten would be a grudge he would have forever.
And probably go into more theories about how the weapon can really work and if it has like a DNA/bio recognition technology for anyone that has the blood of a vlalur and how the empire possibly try to figure out who had the blood.
