Church the wolf in: Bad Aim
Church always considered whatever plans him and his annoying as hell teammates always come up with but this insane plan that cooked up from his boss Nephtys. The one he actually considers to have a brain and intelligence to do this bad shit, crazy idea. This all started after Nephtys came back from her monthly visits to Sarge in the restoration jail…. Oh, and his friggin robot Lopez. He can remember how she came up to you and presented her idea.
It was another day for church working in the workshop since he and others sans sarge lied about really leaving the Eggman army. Everyone has been getting some down time waiting for Eggman their Insane boss and Nephtys as well to finally get out of the restoration. As he clocked out for the day he sees Nephtys coming to him. "Hey Nephtys how's sarge? Still trying to escape?" Church asked the last part with a sigh. Remembering how Sarge been trying to escape and get back to Eggman with various degrees of failures. "He is…. now believing we are brainwashed by the restoration." Nephtys said with a tired voice to church who just rolls his eyes at Sarge blindly ignoring everyone's advice as usual to do his way.
"Yeah sounds like that shotgun obsessed idot." Church notes which Nephtys then being walked with church to somewhere private to talk more "Church you remember how someone tried to kill Eggman couple months ago?" Nephtys ask as you continue to walk together "Yeah and I pity the idiot who is gonna end dead or worse when Eggman gets his hands on them." Church says pretty unsympathetic about the future of the sniper who tried to kill their boss.
"And remember that wolf came by a couple months ago that came with Lanolin correct?" Nephtys asked her voice sounding oddly tense which church says confused "Yes but what that's gotten to do with that……..Ah." Which that part church stopped dead in his tracks and gains a look of complete fear "Are they Fucking crazy!?" Church shouts confused at the action the restoration took.
"They took the same sniper who tried to kill our boss who we know is a petty and vindictive man who would stoop down to a lot of lows just to get them back for revenge and to here with people who worked with him is a good idea fucking idea ?!" Church shouts looking scared and angry which Nephtys puts her hands on church shoulder and says "church calm down alright? This magic fire the Zeti left has been keeping him busy thankfully enough and if he didn't have anything to do, he would raze this place to the ground."
Which then church sarcastically says " Oh wow Neph that a comforting thought the only thing that's keeping us technically safe from him, bombarding this place to the ground that's he's currently busy dealing with this fire shit." Which then Nephtys replies back "Church I think we have a chance to keep her busy from trying to anything else to incur more wrath from our boss to the civilians on the restoration."
Which church then looks surprised at this ideas and sarcastically replies back "On wow Neph, that seems like a smart thing to do with someone who literally tried to kill our boss that should be a good idea for someone who work for him to talk to her" Nephtys just sighed and took off her mask showing her legionized face "church…..No Leonard… please try to talk to her." "Fine" church says before adding as he was walking away " if I die, I'm haunting you."
That's Church find himself going to the shooting range. He deeply hopes that this plan of just talking to her would slow down her attempts on trying to kill his boss. You see her standing holding one of those whispon weapon shooting a very abrupt target of an Eggman logo all getting head shots. Church is slightly glad that she isn't currently aiming her weapon at him.
So as church walks behind her the wolf mobian turns around and aims her weapon at church who immediately puts up his hands "Whoa, sorry I was trying to use the shooting range as well!" Church explained sounding tense at the masked wolf mobain. Who says nothing and continue using the logo ignoring churches presence
Church can only sigh and stand beside her in the shooting range, taking out his Egg sniper and aims it towards the farthest target and then proceeds to shoot at……. Which ultimately did nothing since church was missing the target completely way off. Which caused the masked wolf, the turns her head and just look at church who can only replied weakly "Sun was in eyes." Which the wolf turns their head and sees the cloudy skies
"So…. That thing is a sniper too?" Church ask as he decide after a bit of while trying to shoot the target and missing which church tries to play off on other factors. Which the masked wolf just gives a nod to church. Church tries to start a conversation with the wolf that tried to murder his boss. But all she does is essentially just either nods or just shakes her head.
It's not until Church tries again with his Egg sniper Which he tries to fire it once again. However, the bullet instead hits a metal sheet that was near the target, which immediately being ricochet all over the place, hitting other metal plates hanging up in the range before finally for once in his life hit the target.
"Oh did you see that shot god I'm amazing!" Church exclaimed in excitement at his shot. Which he hears a slight whispering chuckle. " only counts if you say it." Which church turns his head and sees the wolf Mo and took off that strange mask, revealing her closed eyes. "Oh bullshit you saw it…. I think." Church says before moving his hand towards in a friendly motion, hiding his nervousness with false bravado
" Leonard Church, and your name is?" Which the wolf mobian shakes his hand and says in a whisper "Whisper…. And if you need any pointers how to use that thing… don't be afraid to ask." as she says that she begins walking away. Church can only silently think to himself he wasn't recognized by the wolf Whisper as a Eggman army individual. Get better hopes that this weekly training session by her keeps her busy enough so she doesn't try to pull any shit with his friends.
Despite everything and all the bickering with them, he does care.
