Well if we make a alliance with GUN, focus in the darcsen issue and don't make agressive attacks on the Restorarion. They may be willing to listen to us for the time being since we are playing ball.
Like the Restoration is the hero protagonist faction in Green Hills, and possible have Freedom Fighters on their ranks too if going by Rotor.

Frankly GUN and the Restoration would probably also join in as well.
Giving the Empire three powerful enemis to fight. Still going to be a hard fight but GUN, Restoration and Eggman joining togheter in a alliance is extremely powerful force.
GUN provide heavy firepower and military discipline, Restoration provide veteran guerrillas and unconventional tactics while Eggman provide loads of cheap and disposable troops along side the occasion exotic weapons in the field.
Just have to keep our pollution in check. Unfortunate probably means to scale back the Arsenal Pyramid badnik production once we get it under our control but still we probbaly get loads od badniks anyway.

Pre-SGW would take the longest to really get into a neutral stance.
But anyone that lived trough the black arms invasion will see why the alliance is mostly out of necessity.
The black arms destroyed a shit ton during their initial invasion and killed a lot of people in the process.
Almost killed both sides too due to fighting each other instead of focusing the black arms.
And that was when Shadow was an aloof ally to the black arms.
This time we are dealing with a full dark aligned path Shadow which honestly would sent shivers down everyone spines.
From Rouge conversation with Towers it seems they are also aware of the shattering effect on multiple sets of memories, which means we can also compare notes on what intel they may have on that.
Wouldn't be the first temporary truce, but one that will need to last if we really want to survive black doom bullshit.

Temporary may be but is one that going for the long haul.
Like the Vortex. We literally going have to create new technology from scratch to go to the depths of the oceans and attack them and they claim domain over all oceans of the world or the zombie apocalyse in the other side of the world that probably match on us for disposable troops.
Then there's the guy down south looking to estabelish eterbal darkness and this is only the world ending threats we know, who knows what others are lurking in the background.
I once mention some Alien games are Sega IP so the xenomorphs can appear here as some sort of crises.
Not to mention it's going to take a while until we even manage to entertain the idea of storming the Ark.
TBH I will be laughing my ass off if they try to find hidden plans of betrayal, pulling the rug under their feet, selling them out, etc.

They are easy (for us atleast), Badniks are too inorganic for Xenomorphs to attack them (evidence: Working Joe Android series). Probably until we enter the Hive or attack them, but that still allows for some tactical sheniganies.

Quick off topic question for QMs, where do you write your updates? Because I'm somewhat certain that there would have been less typos in, say, Google docs or Microsoft word.

Eggman works in many ways, but if he does something againts other people, it is to gloat, gloat how great he is and how they have failed before trying to do the deed when it comes to people that really annoyed him.
And yet with the diamond cutters, he didn't do that, Mimic just left them to the trap while Eggman activated the androids.
Knowing how Mimic acts on the comics, it really fits his modus operandi, when he is done playing a paper, he will burn everything related to that script to ashes leaving no trace of who he was before.
Eggman probably entertained the idea because he found funny that someone would be so hilariously treacherous to what were his partners.

Speaking of which, do you think Eggman still wants Mimic to finish Whisper or would he target him instead, cause I can just picture Eggman dressed as a fox hunter and blowing a trumpet for the other heroes we have to hunt Mimic.
