Egg Mobile Mishaps
So this is a bit of a idea for a Omake as of now. Short but I just imagine what could pass for Orbot and Cubot small talk while reparing, once again, the Egg Mobile.

Egg Mobile Mishaps

In the depths of Dr. Eggman's lair, the metallic clanging of tools echoed as Orbot and Cubot worked diligently on the Egg Mobile. Doctor Eggman had ordered them to make extensive repairs on his beloved hovercraft. The hovering vehicle was a patchwork of cracks, dents, and scorched paint—a testament to its many battles.

Cubot held a wrench, his yellow chassis covered in smudges of grease, while Orbot studied a blueprint. With each repair, they couldn't help but reminisce about the times the Egg Mobile had met its demise.

"Hey, remember that time Sonic sent this thing tumbling into the ocean?" Cubot chuckled, scratching his head.

"Which time, Cubot?" Orbot replied, rolling his eyes. "That's happened at least three times that I can recall. Once with Sonic, once with Tails, and once with Knuckles when he threw a rock the size of my head."

Cubot laughed, twisting a bolt into place. "Oh yeah, the rock! Doc was furious! Didn't he say something like 'next time, I'll build a boulder-proof Egg Mobile!'"

Orbot shook his head. "And yet, here we are. No boulder-proofing in sight."

They both leaned over a panel on the side of the craft, their robotic fingers delicately securing new wiring. Orbot sighed as he stared at the scorch marks.

"And don't forget the time Amy nearly bashed it in with her hammer," Orbot continued. "We barely managed to retrieve it in one piece."

"Oh, oh! And when Tails hooked it with that tow cable!" Cubot exclaimed. "He dragged the whole thing across Green Hill Zone!"

Orbot let out a groan. "The Doctor was airborne for nearly a mile. I swear he spun around more times than he would in a loop-de-loop."

The two robots chuckled, knowing that after each repair, they'd likely be back here, fixing up the Egg Mobile yet again.

Cubot looked at Orbot, tilting his head. "Think we'll ever be able to build one that can survive Sonic and his pals?"

Orbot shrugged. "Doubtful. They'd just find new ways to break it. But hey, it keeps us busy."

With the last bolt tightened and the wiring in place, they stepped back, admiring their handiwork. It looked as good as new, if only for now.

Orbot sighed and patted the freshly-repaired chassis. "Until next time, old friend. Until next time."

A Genius's thoughts
Dr.Eggman in:A Genius's thoughts

The great Doctor Eggman consider himself a man a few desires like taking over the world, having everyone been to your genius and destroying annoying blue rat of a hedgehog who has always been a pain in your neck and you are the only one who can defeat him no one else! If they did, you would rip them apart, atom by atom and even when they beg for Mercy, it will not come they have taken your glory against the blue rodent!!

Ahh it seems to be your caught up in one of your rants against the loathsome hedgehog you've been doing that a lot more ever since you came back as your stint as Mr. Tinker…. For the second time in your life you're jealous of someone else. That fact, completely frustrates you he was just you! He was up naïve, kind, old man didn't understand his greatness, that he was destined more than entertaining, a bunch of worthless peon.

So what that he had their love!? so what that they respected him not out of fear?! so what that they didn't look at them with hatred in their eyes or distain… So why does it frustrate you? Maybe some part of you desired that life not that you will admit that part aloud with Starline heavens know What that for would've done if you never got your memory back. Would've been that bad though?

Aghh enough for these thoughts. You need to focus to get back your empire from that upstart Zetti. Then after taking care of him deal with the other fools. Crush the black doom with your mighty intelligence yet again. Finally crush that rebel upstart the restorations without that hedgehog. Then destroy G.U.N one more time taking extra measure to make sure no member of that loathsome organization come back.

But some parts of you are still a blur ever since this whole world collision has happened you remember this isn't the first time this happened comes in flashes just like that meeting that weird version of Amy Rose, Rusty Rose. Really, though why was there five versions of you and why was one of them a baby? Questions for another day.

What you need now is to set up some basic defensive perimeters set by Rusty you're quite curious to see how well she does. Make sure your hideout is perfectly safe from that Zetti. Next rebuilding your ace metal sonic…Ahh metal he surprises you in many ways just gotta make sure the whole loyalty patch is refitting when you fix them up. You don't want to admit it, but you need more than just machines maybe send Starline to get some people for you. Get Orbot and Cubebot fix up the egg mobile it's easy even for those two lunkheads.

Maybe while you're doing this take a break get some coffee you heard that mean bean place makes a pretty good brew. For some reason, you get memories of you and coffee and they another person next to you. As you're ruminating over this over a computer that you have gotten from that fanboy of yours, you feel an odd urge to return to his Lab. Tinker's Lab you don't know why, but if he was you and had a smidgen of your genius left after having his mind scrambled maybe he built some thing or draft plans.

But it just feels important to go back there. See if there's any leftover scrap you can get. If you're lucky to see what he was thinking. Always a man of putting down your thoughts. But there's one thing you will always know. This world belongs to you. It doesn't belong to those punk Zetti or those alien freaks, black doom, or the so-called defenders of the world. Especially those new upstart the Empire who dared to hurt your precious metal!

Everyone will know the glory of Doctor Eggman and the Eggman Empire!!

EGG MEMO
Well time for the good old doctor to get into making some folders.

EGG MEMO SE 001: Assessing situations and the master plan.

Now that I finally have a moment of peace for myself, I think it is time that I start assessing just what is truly happening around me and what needs to be done.

It is still beyond belief what is happening after all, the state that the world finds itself in is something I must not take lightly because of the new variables that are itself at play.

At least with the blue rat I knew what I was getting myself into after years of having to fight that annoyance alongside those damnable friends of his.

And yet that pincushion is missing right now and in it's place is pure chaos, those damned Zeti have taken the opportunity and taken most of my resources, there are fools out there who think they can come and set up shop and act as competition to me, the great Ivo Eggman Robotnik, without counting that somehow those monsters of the Black Arms have come back to live which is another can of worms entirely.

At least the Hedgehog gave me a headache that could be calmed down with an aspirin.

Oh well no crying over spilled milk, despite my limited resources it is only question of time before I show those fools who is really on top of the food chain.

So I better use these memos to write down some important points before I even forget about them.

Considering recent developments with two of my new associates I will need to do even more multitasking of what I am used too.

EGG MEMO SE 002: Headaches

So for the first point it will be said recent developments with my new associates.

Those being Rusty Rose, Agent Stone and Belle.

It is obvious that whatever did this to the world, also affected me on a fundamental level.

The sudden headache when I was checking the data about Rusty Rose could be chalked up to an accident, something that wouldn't really bother me in a sense.

But then came the meeting with Agent Stone, not only the same headache came back, but this time I blacked out, I still don't know why I accepted the man so easily just for giving me the deed for the Coffee shop, but I can at least say the man knows where he should stand unlike certain platypus.

Then there was the meeting with Belle, I refuse at the moment of making any further commentaries until I resolve this situation fully, but that was the third time said headache affected me and for the second time I blacked out.

Once is an accident, twice is a coincidence, three times it becomes a pattern.

I should probably undergo some tests later down the road to determine just what happened to me, it could give me some insight on what also happened to the world.

Still I cannot say it was all for naught, that headache with Stone did give me some new ideas for new designs.

EGG MEMO SE 003: Six problems one solution.

Now onto a new point, those damnable Zeti, with this is has been twice where those fools have crossed me, the first time Sonic was the one to take care of them during the whole incident on lost hex, but now I will need a more personal approach if I want my army back at full force.

Yet there is one single problem, that being that my technology for as brilliant as it is, it is childs play for those fools to take control off, even my greatest creation would fall prey to them if I am not careful about their technopath abilitites.

And even then if I was to sent someone to fight them only Metal and Rusty have a real chance of winning againts them.

Most of them are brutes after all, with only Zavok and Zik having some real brain to work with.

Ugh if only that damnable Hedgehog hadn't kicked the Cacophonic Conch out of my hand to gods know where, those idiots would be childs play to get rid off.

On the other hand the thing wasn't broken on the first place, so it is probably still out there, but that would mean launching a search on lost hex which may not be worth using my forces to begin with, as who knows where that thing was kicked in the first place.

It isn't like I have a way to open a portal to would transport me directly into lost hex and especifically into the location of the conch.

... Wait a minute.

That platypus may be useful for something very important after all.

I will need to assign him into an operation to find that conch as soon as he finishes with the recruitment pitch.

If I can get my hands back again on that conch then those idiots are good as gone, probably lock them in a cell with the Cacophonic Conch sounding 24/7 and throw away the key so they never bother me ever again.

Truly I am a genius at formulating plans.

EGG MEMO SE 004: Competitions and possible counters.

Now onto the competition that decided to set up shop close to my domains.

To say I hated competition to begin with would be putting it lightly.

If those fools think that just because they are able to hold territory and make themselves kings, then they have another thing coming.

For now my biggest target is this so called ''Empire''.

Studying the rest can wait for all I care.

Oh yes this Empire dared to destroy Metal Sonic and that is something I won't let go without punishment.

Once my army is back in full strenght my first order of bussiness will be invading them and show those fools who is really in charge around here.

And yet I need to be careful to not reveal all of my cards.

After all the new faces, only I, Sonic and his insuferable friends, those annoying deadly whatever and the Black Arms know what truly can change the course of the fight.

After all the Chaos Emeralds even in the hands of a fool are an unlimited source of power.

If those idiots even get a little idea of what the Chaos Emeralds can even do then everything could go from 0 to 100 in question of seconds.

And yet that gives me another idea.

The possible use of sabotage trough fake Emeralds.

I must admit Tails still has a lot of potential in that mind of his, that fake Chaos Emerald he made during the events aboard the ARK Space Colony was a stroke of genius.

Not even my sensors could detect the difference between the real deal and the fake one, the only thing they could detect is that there were two emeralds on that room that day.

If it wasn't for Tails naivety that day things would have probably gone a lot differently that day.

After the incident with the ARK I managed to study the fake emerald and to say what I learned about them was interesting.

Tails not only managed to create a fake emerald that could match the wavelengths of the real deal, with them being so similar that even people like Shadow could be fooled if they aren't careful.

But that they also sabotage any machinery they come in contact with creating an overflow of chaos energy overloading the machine they come in contact with making it outright unusable after.

Of course while not as powerful as the real deal they can still be used as powersources, one of my lastest bases designs was planning to use giant ones after all to power the entire city before my little episode as Mr Tinker.

Still againts my usual enemies they are beyond useless, said fake emeralds can be used to activate to some part chaos control as that annoying rat demostrated when he escaped my death trap with said fake emerald on the ARK.

Without counting that every single one of us knows there are seven of them, so choosing the wrong color could really be a double edge sword.

Againts my new neighbors on the other hand.

I am so tempted to just make fake emeralds and sent them to those fools on the Empire for them to use in their machines.

Then just grab a chair make some good popcorn and enjoy the fireworks of the resulting explosion would make that entire day worth it.

After all none of these fools know there are only 7 chaos emeralds.

EGG MEMO SE 005: A nightmare returns.

What happened to my grandfather Gerald Robotnik is still a complicated subject for myself, even to this day.

One of the greatest minds in the entire world, gone mad from grief over the dead of my cousin.

That final message displayed on the ARK that day once I put the final chaos emerald on the reactor still plays from time to time in my memory.

Such a great man reduced to nothing but a animal that needed to be put down.

All because of G.U.N.

I never understood why the events that lead to the closure of the ARK and the dead of many ever happened.

Until the Black Arms arrived to this planet.

My grandfather had made a deal with them for him to finish Project Shadow, they would get the planet while he finished Shadow.

I couldn't believe it, my own grandfather had sold humanity to a bunch of aliens.

What little remained of that pedestal was broken that day.

Only to be rebuilt during the last battle againts Black Doom as a message hidden within the ARK revealed the true purpose of the Eclips Cannon.

Not as a weapon to be used againts the world, but one to be used againts the aliens as a last resort.

My grandfather truly was a genius until the day G.U.N. took everything from him.

Soon after the debacle with Black Doom ended, I used the time I was hidden to board the ARK, at first it was to study Tails fake emerald.

But I found something even greater.

My grandfather journal.

Sadly most of it was lost with only some entries surviving the cruel mistress known as time.

It was an interesting read to say at least and further cemented my hatred for G.U.N.

At least at the end I know my grandfather no longer would have regrets after the destruction of the Black Comet.

Still I haven't been able to find the physical version as the base it was kept in was raided by G.U.N. a little before the plan with the Time Eater

And yet that nightmare is once again within us.

To think the Black Arms would return once again.

Even I know those monsters need to be gone by yesterday.

Not only that, but right now it is a race againts time to get the 7 chaos emeralds.

I cannot let Black Doom get them in any way possible.

I hate to admit it, but even at my full strenght it took the work of everyone to get rid of that monster.

Once I get my things in order, I will hate every minute of it, but I will need to purpose a cease fire with the restoration and G.U.N.

Even if we hate each other, every single one of us know that Black Doom is something we need to heavely stack the deck againts.

Even if I just use them to find the chaos emeralds.

I swear on my grandfather grave that I will sent that monster back to the hell he came crawling out from.

Well got in writting mood and considering the frontiers egg memos are easy to digest decided to make no 1, but 5 of these guys.

Mostly Eggman thoughs about stuff in general of what is happening in quest at the moment.

Starting with the new recruits, Eggman is no idiot, he is gonna notice the pattern on his headaches, so something he will obviously investigate later.

Now to Lost world problem, he knows the guys, he knows how annoying they are, but he knows their weakness, said weakness still stranded on lost world, something which may take too long to even be able to get, after all he just cannot teleport there and get back the conch.

...Wait a minute.

Yeah sometimes the obvious doesn't hit you until you are in that train of though.

Hell Starline in canon did that with his gem to make the guys fall in line, but got too cocky with them.

Then we have the new neighbours, tbh he honestly doesn't give a shit about them at the moment other than they are competency.

Unless we talk about the Empire.

They touched Metal Sonic after all.

And for that they need to die, hence a little sabotage with fake emeralds.

Afte all I said that while we know there are only 7 emeralds, they don't know this information.

Finally black doom, as I said Gerald is still a complicated subject for the Doctor and yet even he knows Black Doom is not someone to be messed with, he saw how that thing almost won last time.

It is a race to get the chaos emeralds with them after all, if Black Doom gets them it is pretty much game over.

Eggman may hate it, but he is not above of working with enemies if it means kicking the bigger threat out of the picture.

Either way enjoy.

Shadows of Dominion
Here is a Omake @Kingster, I write about the Empire footsoldier facing the Black Arms scouting force for the first time:

Shadows of Dominion

Sergeant August Klein never thought he'd see the day the Empire would be truly on its own. Gallia had been conquered, its quiet streets under Imperial rule, but after the event they'd come to call "the Shattering," everything had changed. The night sky had fractured, twisting into strange, new colors. One moment, they were securing a supply line to Randgriz; the next, the very air felt wrong. Strange towers rose in the distance, structures that hadn't been there before. Communication lines with the homeland had gone dead, and new threats loomed in the shadows of this alien world.

As the Imperial occupation adjusted, their goals shifted from conquest to survival. August's superiors established fortified outposts, turning Gallia's towns into bases, and every soldier was reminded that the Empire was Gallia's ruler now—cut off from their homeland or not. They would adapt and rule Gallia just as their Emperor intended.

But the soldiers had begun to notice things. Shadows moved in ways they hadn't before, and unearthly sounds echoed in the distance. The higher-ups dismissed it as nerves until scouts reported seeing strange, black creatures that seemed to melt into the darkness, their crimson eyes glowing like embers. And then the attacks began.

August had been stationed just outside Bruhl with his squad when the first clash happened. It was night, and they were on patrol near a hill overlooking the valley. August looked out over the land, thinking how peaceful it all seemed. But then he noticed the faintest flicker of movement. At first, he thought it was just the wind shifting shadows in the trees. But then he saw them: figures moving through the darkness, their bodies inky black and their movements fluid and predatory.

A cold dread washed over him as he realized these weren't ordinary creatures. He grabbed his rifle, signaling to his squad. "Eyes up! We've got company—something's coming!"

The creatures, who they later learned were called the Black Arms, moved swiftly. They didn't announce themselves, didn't show any fear. They simply attacked, claws gleaming as they tore into the Imperial line. Bullets seemed to pass through them like shadows, their bodies bending and shifting around the shots. August's squadmate, Stein, took a slash across his chest, dropping to the ground with a scream.

"Focus fire!" August shouted, firing wildly at the nearest creature. He managed to score a hit, and it staggered back, but only slightly. It turned its eyes to him, glowing with a terrifying intelligence. The sheer malice in that gaze shook him to his core.

Realizing their weapons were barely effective, August fumbled for a grenade, tossing it as far as he could toward a group of the creatures. The explosion tore through the night, sending some of them scattering. But as the dust settled, the creatures emerged almost unscathed, their forms flickering back into the darkened landscape.

One of his men, Kaspar, shouted, "They're barely taking damage! What are these things?"

"They're soldiers like us," August replied, his voice steady but his eyes wide. "They bleed; we just need to find how."

The Imperial forces began falling back, regrouping to form a defensive line. The Black Arms pressed their advantage, slipping through cracks in their formation, tearing into the soldiers with unearthly precision. August was forced into close combat, ducking as one creature slashed at him. He felt its claws skim his helmet, tearing it from his head. It was only by instinct that he managed to raise his rifle and drive the stock hard into the creature's head. It staggered, momentarily dazed, and August fired a shot directly into its crimson eye.

The creature dissolved into mist, vanishing into the air.

"Headshots!" he yelled to his squad. "Aim for the head!"

Gradually, the Imperial soldiers adapted, targeting the creatures' heads and learning to move in groups to cover each other's backs. The battle was grueling, but with each victory came a bitter sense of survival rather than triumph. The Black Arms didn't retreat—they simply stopped attacking when enough of them had fallen, slipping back into the darkness as if they'd never been there at all.

When morning came, the battlefield was quiet, littered with bodies—both Imperial and the strange, dissolving remains of the Black Arms. August and his men stood in silence, gazing at the aftermath. Their victory was a hollow one. Gallia may have been their new home, but they realized it was now a place filled with unknown dangers. They'd been invaders before, but now they were survivors, and this world wasn't one they'd conquer easily.

As they collected their dead and reinforced their defenses, August spoke to his men, hoping to rally what remained of their morale. "The Empire may be gone, and we may be alone, but we're still soldiers. We'll adapt, and we'll fight. We might not have our homeland, but we have each other. And whatever these creatures are, we'll find a way to beat them."

But in his heart, he knew that this war was different. They were no longer fighting for the Empire or its conquest of Europa; they were fighting for survival in a land that had turned hostile in ways they couldn't yet understand. And as he gazed over the twisted landscape beyond Gallia, he knew one thing: they were in for a long, brutal struggle.

Obs: Black Arms are terrifying in my opnion both GUN, a global fight force, and Eggman struggle to hold the line long enough before a solution come and they pretty much would have lost if Gerald Robotnik plan. These Imperials lucky this was just a scouting force they face.

I imagine the forntlines between the Empire and Black Arms have devolved intro trench warfare since they can't advance the land claimed by the Black Arms so they only defend for now.

Black Revival
Black Revival
Ever since he came back to life after the Shattering, Black Doom has done much soul searching. Ever since the failure to conquer the planet the first time thanks to Shadow, he decided that it was time for a change of organization.

Thankfully he still had the genetic materials of all the species his kind has consumed over the millennia, genetic materials that he used to augment and overhaul the Black Arms.

Black Doom looked at the pods containing what was possibly the new generation of Black Arms. He placed his hand on the pods and knew they were ready to awaken.

Black Doom: Awaken, my Black Deaths!

GUN Analysis Report: Black Arms
Ever since we discovered that not only the Black Arms have returned, no doubt the Shattering is to thank for that, but have been given a overhaul.

This report is an overview of the different forces of the Black Arms;

Black Warrior: the main force of the Black Arms. Same appearance as before but now they've been given new weapons and abilities depending on which region are they in. Desert region has fire breathing abilities and can swim in the sands, etc.

Black Oak: the main heavy force of the Black Arms but have been given new weapons like a biological version of a heavy Gatling Gun.

Black Flash: a new breed of the Black Arms, capable of creating clones of itself to swarm their enemies, making them extremely dangerous as they can easily overwhelm us.

Black Sniper: a new breed of Black Arms. They look like Warriors but their right arm have been extensively altered to look like an biological sniper rifle.

Black Hawk: Main flyer force of the Black Arms but have been altered to shoot balls of energy at their foes.

Black Volt: alternative breed of the Hawk but altered to act as biological sentry drones. Found out the hard way when a squad of GUN tried to infiltrate their territory but was discovered by it.

Black Assassin: Elite version of the Warriors.

Black Juggernaut: an new breed of Black Arms that seems to be a elite version of the Oaks, being heavily armored and heavily armed.

Black Shark: An new breed of Black Arms that seems to be an aquatic version of the Warrior, as they can swim in ocean waters.

Black Turtle: An new breed of Black Arms that seems to be an aquatic version of the Oaks.

Black Bull: same as before.

Black Whale: a massive aquatic breed of Black Arms exclusive to ocean region. Capable of shooting high-pressure of water at their prey. Looks like a Komodo dragon if it had a long neck and have flippers.

Black Macho: a new breed of Black Arms that seems to be act as an artillery weapon, capable of launching air blasts from their horns.

Black Salvo: a new breed of Black Arms that acts as air fighters. They can shoot energy bolts from their tail.

Black Knight: An new breed of Black Arms that seems to act as a commander unit to the Black Arms.

Black Rook: an Captain-rank breed of the Black Arms: similar to the Juggernaut but their armor is colored gold.

Black Bishop: an breed of Black Arms that seems to overlook operations assigned to them.

Black Death: an elite breed of Black Arms, underneath Black Doom in terms of authority, they are rarely seen but they are running portion of Black Doom's territory.

(What do you think of the Black Arms in this instance, @Kingster )

Starline and Stone in:A PLATYPUS AND A STONE MEET
Starline and Stone in:A PLATYPUS AND A STONE MEET

Former special Agent Stone doesn't believe in a lot of things, but there is one thing he will always believe the genius of Dr. Eggman. He's not gonna lie though. He was worried about never seeing the doctor ever again after this reality crashing upon each other as he explained it to you while you were falling back to his hideout. But he always believed that one day the good doctor will return and have his revenge against that hedgehog and retake back his empire from those so-called zetti he explained on the way.

He's also glad to meet other fellow people who believe in the doctor's genius. However there's seems to be issue with one of the good doctors followers. Stone muses currently brewing a coffee to give to the good doctor while staring across Dr.Starline who is typing up notes into a computer looking at you a bit wearily. Stone knows that his fellow new coworker that he is smart enough to understand the doctor and to be able to keep up with his line of thinking.

But that's the problem with Starline he thinks that he has they seem smart to stand with the doctor. You know that will be a very big issue so you decide to do the one thing the doctor has always made due to when dealing with people who didn't understand his flow talk to them. So that's what you're currently doing you approach Starline a cup of coffee that has good doctors visage on top of the foam.

"Starline, your coffee." You say to him as you set it down next to him. Starline looks up from his computer and says to you "Thank you Stone." His tone polite, giving you a slight nod. You decide to grab one of the chairs next to the platypus and look him dead into the eyes. He noticed this and gives you a very confused look and says " is there something wrong Stone?" Tilting his head a bit while looking at you.

" We need to talk." You say your voice sounding a bit serious. "Talk about what?" Starline ask looking more even confused. Take a deep breath and then say to Starline. "Starline I'm glad that you also believe in the doctor and you consider him a genius." Your voice steady looking at the platypus trying to gauge his face expressions which currently still look confused but looking like he's listening intently as well.

"But there lies an issue with you that could possibly spell trouble with you and the doctor." You say your voice stern. Starline straightens up anstraightens up a bit and says to " and what is this so-called issue I will have with the doctor? Since from what you have told me, you were a confident with the doctor in an another reality." Starline ask his eyes squinting a bit behind his shades.

"Ok, when I say this, I want you to take this with a very amount of understanding OK?" You say to Starline who gives a nod and gestures for you to continue. You then take a deep breath and look at Starline and say to him " I want you to know this as a fellow follower of the good doctor, don't try to step on his toes." You tell starline who looks at you with brow raised up in interest " and pray, tell me Agent of what I would do to step on his proverbial toes." Starline ask his tone curious.

" Firstly never interrupt him when he's having a groove session." You say to Starline who gives a quizzical look at that but nods his head anyway. " Secondly never try to believe that you could ever match the doctors greatness or intellect." You see starline look a bit surprised at this. "Surely that doesn't mean we could be…." Starline starts says at which you decide to cut him off before he says something he can't back "No, Starline we should never assume we could match the good doctor understand. We are his assistants and our job for him is to help him not match him ok."

You say grimly to starline who looks a bit conflicted and say to you his tone unsure. "I understand but don't you want more than just his respect don't you want to genuinely impress the doctor?" Ahh you see now what Starline deal is with a good doctor. He's the past version of you before you bonded with the good doctor.

"Listen starline I get, but the only way to impress the doctor is by doing your job well. Never once trying to push the blame of yourself to the others. You said you have you research Dr. Eggman's history thoroughly right?" You ask Starline who gives a nod to you " then you know, that the good doctor always will respect and be impressed by people who can help him and make sure his plans go smoothly that's what I did with my doctor."

You see the platypuses eyes whiten the bit, his hand stroking his chin, having a thoughtful look, which he says to you " I do remember, What I've have saw about the doctor he was impressed when his machines or other people he hires do their job correctly." You give a nod to starline about this summarization "Maybe you're right, maybe I have been going into this a little too gun hoe with Dr. Eggman. I should take a step back and relax for a bit refocused myself on helping the doctor and the Empire."

You give a nod at seeing Starline looking a bit more understanding. You put your hand on his shoulder. "Starline the Empire doesn't just run with two geniuses. It's an intricate piece of machinery like a coffee machine needs all the small parts working to make sure it does it right." You say to him and you see, he takes a sip of the coffee you gave him because in surprise "hmm this is quite good coffee stone."

You chuckle at compliment which you then drink your own cup of coffee " what can I say? The doctor needs people who who can make a mean brew." You say him and you see he nods back to you and then returns back working on this computer drinking the coffee you've given them. You were concerned about him at first, but he truly does follow the doctor.

After all, you will always be the doctors rock.

Those Left Behind
Here we go @Kingster about the omake bounty THOSE LEFT BEHIND.

Those Left Behind

Jewel sat at her office, staring out into pictures of the chaos that was once Green Hill in her computer. The tranquil, rolling plains and checkered cliffs she had known all her life had turned into a twisted battleground where danger lurked at every turn. The Restoration, a peaceful organization formed to rebuild, was now back in survival mode—much like the Resistance had been in the dark days of the war.

She had inherited this responsibility when Amy Rose had vanished, leaving Jewel to step up as the leader of the Restoration. Jewel's hands shook slightly as she glanced at the reports in front of her: the Deadly Six held most of Green Hill under their iron grip, the revived Black Arms were spreading like a dark plague up north, and this Empire—this foreign force from another world—was now moving into Zeti-controlled territories in the west, throwing everything into turmoil.

"Jewel!" Tangle announce barging in her office, her voice bright, but her eyes serious. "We've got a distress signal. It's coming from an old outpost up north. Survivors are holed up there, but the Black Arms are closing in fast."

Jewel's heart tightened. The Restoration's goal had always been to protect and rebuild, to help those left in the wake of destruction. Yet here she was, facing enemies who seemed to thrive on causing more harm than she had ever imagined possible. The Zeti, the Black Arms, the Empire—they were all so different yet equally ruthless. The Restoration wasn't equipped to handle this scale of warfare, but Jewel couldn't turn her back on those in need.

"We can't let them be overrun," Jewel said, more to herself than anyone else. She looked at Tangle. "Get a team together. And be careful—the Black Arms have somehow returned stronger. We can't underestimate them."

Tangle nodded, determination flashing in her eyes. "Got it!. We'll get them out of there, Jewel. Promise."

Jewel managed a small, grateful smile. She trusted Tangle with her life, and even more than that, she trusted Tangle's heart. In a world that felt darker every day, Tangle's optimism was a light that kept her going.

As Tangle dashed off, Jewel turned back to the map on her desk, studying the fractured landscape of what had once been their home. The Restoration was spread thin across territories—trying to pull innocents out of crossfires, rescue villages, and get supplies to those who were hanging on by a thread. Jewel knew they couldn't keep this up forever. Not with the Deadly Six patrolling Green Hill, not with the Black Arms swarming over every piece of land they conquered into the north, and not with this Empire from another dimension encroaching on the west.

A small voice interrupted her thoughts. It was Lanolin, looking hesitant but resolute.

"Jewel," Lanolin said, stepping forward, "I know it feels like we're barely holding on, but we're making a difference. People are still alive because of the Restoration. And even if it feels like we're back in the war, we can still get through this. We've done it before."

Jewel felt a spark of hope at Lanolin's words. "Thank you, Lanolin. I know we're all tired, but we have to keep going." She steadied herself, gathering her courage. "If the Resistente could survive Doctor Eggman, then maybe... maybe we can get through this too."

Lanolin nodded, her gaze steady. "And we're with you, Jewel. Every step of the way."

Jewel watched her leave and closing the door behind her, feeling a swell of gratitude and strength. The Restoration wasn't equipped for battle like the old Resistance, but they had something both share: heart. They had each other, and they had the will to protect what remained of their world.

The "Shattering" might have thrown them into a new and dangerous reality, but Jewel knew one thing for certain: as long as the Restoration stood, they would never give up.

They would restore the world back as it was piece by piece, after all it was always they job.

Readjustment of a War Machine
Readjustment of a War Machine
You weren't surprised that Doctor Eggman was the first thing you saw upon reactivating. New Lackeys aside, another Human, and some Platypus Mobian. What did come as a Surprise as you looked at yourself after the Reactivation was the fact that you seemed to be back in your Base form. The Resources must've been tight if he couldn't afford to repair you fully. Still you are well assured that as long as you stick with Eggman you'll be able to regain what you have lost, including all the Upgrades and will be Once again able to Surpass the lesser Sonic in terms of sheer Power. Not that you NEED these upgrades to surpass the Inferior hedgehog, but he is annoying resilient and these upgrades would help facilitate his defeat faster than you could otherwise.

Speaking of that Faker, it seems like he still hasn't shown himself after all of this time. Logically you know that this SHOULD prove your superiority over him seeing as your still here standing and he's nowhere to be seen. but it doesn't. as a matter of fact the more you think about it, the more it Angers you. WHERE is he? It's not enough to merely show that you are better than him, It is only when he admits that you are better than him, or when he has lost so completely and utterly to you, THAT is when he has your permission to die. You won't anyone get in the way of that Not Even- [ERROR: OBEY EGGMAN]

No. What are you thinking? Eggman is too useful to lose, and as your creator if anything he builds were to defeat that Inferior Hedgehog it would simply prove that you could do that as well. Dwelling on this won't get you any closer to proving yourself the Real Sonic, you would be best thinking of other things. Like the new members of the Eggman Army, the Ones that warrant your interest at least.

Rusty Rose, the First new recruit you were made aware of. A Robotic version of Amy Rose possibly originating from another Universe altogether. Not that surprising seeing as much of the world these days seem to be from Another Universe altogether as well. Still in a strange way it is funny. For her to appear when Amy Rose for all appearances has disappeared. It feels like the Universe itself is pushing away the Fakes and letting their superior versions take hold. And the Idea of other versions, Superior versions of the Faker's friends lying around prime for recruitment is- [ERROR: HEART 0]

Inconsequential to the goal at hand. The Friends the Faker surrounds himself with is just a crutch to make up for his inferiority. You will need no such thing when it comes to proving your superiority OR when it comes to expanding the Eggman Empire.

Belle...the Tinkerer's Daughter...She is in a word, Pathethic. At least from initial observation. She can barely fight, looks like she's prone to those asinine 'Heroic' speeches your fake likes to do, and acts like a less annoying version of Orbot and Cubot. Still against all odds, Orbot and Cubot seem to have a strange amount of staying power. So if she takes after them, chances are she also has that as well.

Speaking of Staying power...The new Lackeys also seem to have it as well, Although in a different way given how they seem to both be stickling with Eggman so closely

Well at least they seem to be making themselves useful. Even if they are going to be relegated to the backlines so Eggman isn't wasting his time by keeping the two around.

Having gone over every new thing of Interest, you set your sights outwards at this Changed world, and especially on The Empire that brought you into such Disrepair in the first place, you aren't quite sure how they did it. By all accounts even your Fake should see taking them down as a Cakewalk with how outdated their technology is, Hell the Fake's friends could damage them intensely as well. But then...here you are, beaten back and damaged, with only your Black Shield Upgrade in functional after everything.

Regardless you resolve that it won't happen again. You WILL recover your strength and you will return to your Conquest of it, this just bought them some time. Time that won't help them now that Eggman is back in play.

MEET THE NEW ARRIVALS!: BREAKFAST
MEET THE NEW ARRIVALS!

Cubot and Orbot are one of Eggman's oldest creations (that he hasn't bothered to get rid of), and for a while, it was just him and them (Metal Sonic doesn't count, he is not a good partner for conversations.)

They are curious about these new people throwing their lot with the good doctor. Wonder if they will be as mean as him with them?

Write an Omake of Orbot and Cubot interacting with one of Eggman's new hero units (Stone, Starline, Belle)

Reward: +5 LOYALTY WITH THE RESPECTIVE HERO UNIT.

BREAKFAST

Change was not something Orbot was used to. Obviously things did change, he and Cubot had been around for long enough to see many schemes the boss put into action and the subsequent relocations to different places, but there was a formula to them.

Doctor Eggman would build up his armies of mechanised minions and construct a labyrinthine sprawl of fortified bases. Doctor Eggman would enact his master plan, usually involving gathering some form of macguffins to power a superweapon or controlling an eldritch entity of unfathomable power. Sonic would intervene and then two possible outcomes could occur;
1) They almost won before something Sonic did foiled the plan in the most dramatic fashion.
2) The plan blew up in their faces half-way through, Eggman pretended as he wasn't sucking a lemon to beg for help and assisted his nemesis to stop the problem the Doctor had accidentally created.

In either case victory was a dream and no matter how certain a win seemed, they would soon find themselves chasing after a retreating Eggman to another secret base to repair, recoup and repeat the cycle all over again.

But then THE WAR happened, no fancy title was needed for how else does one describe six months of unrestricted conflict by the Eggman Empire across the planet against every nation, every opposing army and the ragtag Resistance movement that arose to oppose their conquest. It ended the same way the previous plans had, the boss defeated by Sonic in a final battle at his fortress while piloting an oversized, heavily armed and heavily armoured mecha.

Except when the dust settled Doctor Eggman had vanished and without his leadership command and control broke down as the Badnik Armies went rogue. For once there was no plan of what do next.

The decision to join up with Metal Sonic or Neo-Metal Sonic as he went from silent speedster to the megalomaniacal heir of the Empire was made partially out of pre-programmed loyalty that couldn't be erased and partially because Neo-Metal Sonic scared them almost as as much as the boss did. For a moment it looked as though events might be setting up for a repeat with only some minor differences.

Then THE SHATTERING happened and things got very weird.

The world was suddenly much meaner as threats both old and new challenged them. They'd lost control over Badnik armies to the Zeti, the Black Arms had blown what was left of the Egg Fleet out of the sky and this new Empire had beaten Neo-Metal Sonic at his full power. Orbot wasn't sure what happened, there was lots of light and too much interference for the sensors to get a proper reading. Fortunately the Black Arms had collided into the battle, distracting the Empire as the two of them had managed to scavenge Metal Sonic's body off the battlefield amidst the (small c) chaos.

They had been lost for a while before Doctor Starline had found them. It was strange to meet a living person who openly announced himself as loyal to Eggman without him having to resort to trickery, bribery, blackmail or mind control. However, the highly enthusiastic admirer had proved himself by finding Doctor Eggman and bring their boss back (even as Cubot lamented the loss of Mister Tinker).

After all the weirdness and uncertainty, it was almost pleasantly nostalgic to hear the boss berating and threatening them like he used to.

In some ways things were the same. No Eggman Empire, few supplies, a workspace without any proper tools for manufacturing and enemies all around them. The average person would have given up in the face of an impossible task, but Doctor Eggman simply remarked with utmost certainty that they'd be back at full functionality by Christmas.

But in other ways things had changed and it was mostly to do that the base was more crowded. Oh they weren't stepping on each other's toes (thankfully that would never be a problem for him and Cubot), but the fact that Eggman was willing to bring in so many new faces despite his ego, spoke to a level of desperation that Orbot had only seen when the Doctor rolled out the big mechas to deal with his spiky nemesis (not that Eggman would ever admit to being desperate).

Now some where simple enough to understand. Doctor Starline was the fanboy, who styled himself as a mini-Eggman or at least aspired to the image he had formed in his mind (the platypus was still getting there on the insults). While once you looked past the familiar face, Rusty Rose was like a slightly more talkative and slightly less murderous version of Metal Sonic.

Belle was out of place in the base. She was just… too nice a person to be hanging around with the rest of them. The last little remnant of Mister Tinker remaining, surprising that the boss hadn't had left the wooden Badnik in the village, disassembled it in a rage as he had so many other creations or run tests to see what made it tick. Cubot loved her though and if he was being honest it was pleasant to have a cheerful face amongst the seriousness of the situation.

Still none of them posed a threat to his position as Eggman's chief assistant for the things beneath the boss' attention, that 'honour' fell to Agent Stone. Where Starline was a manifestation of celebrity worship, Stone was almost cultish in his devotion to 'the good Doctor' to a disturbing degree. There was something deeply broken in the human's programming to endure standing near the Doctor for hours on end just… anticipating the call before words were spoken.

The undeclared Cold War over the Doctor's needs had spilled over into the most sacred of times, specifically breakfast. As Orbot fried eggs and bacon in a steel pan, Stone attended to a bizarre contraption of pipes and nobs to magic forth a coffee that looked more art than drink… oh and Cubot was there glaring at the toaster to make sure it didn't get any funny ideas about the bread slices inside.

Enjoying the perks of an evil mastermind Eggman liked to have breakfast in bed, that is when he didn't fall asleep in his lab. Of course one had to avoid commenting on the bright pink onesie he slept in and definitely not look at the moustache before it was worked over by specially designed robots to make it look presentable.

As the items were finished and Cubot was prevented from putting butter on the toast himself after last time, Orbot and Stone got into a polite passive-aggressive argument over who got the honour of carrying the breakfast tray.

"As the most senior figure here I must insist on carrying the tray."

"As the good Doctor's personal assistant for many years I believe I know how he wants his tray delivered."

This went on for a good five minutes and was only stopped when Cubot, concerned that the breakfast was getting cold, took the tray before anyone noticed and was out the door heading for Eggman's most personal dominion. The two eventually noticed and charged after yellow robot.

After all there was a non-zero chance that Cubot could screw this up and while Orbot might not like Agent Stone there were worse possibilities of not having someone watching the boss' back. One of which was heading to Eggman with hot coffee with no one supervising him.

Honor Among Mercs.
Well back to writting.

Honor Among Mercs.

Fang The Sniper was having a good day all things considered as he rode in the marvelous queen to the usual bar he and his gang had been using recently.

Well after all that had been happening he deserved one in the opinion of the mercenary.

Ever since the mess that was that so called shattering everything had pretty much gone to well hell would be putting it lightly.

Those strange like demons taking control of the old doctor army, the black arms somehow returning, most of fleet feet and friends dissapearing to god knows where while everyone else dealt with the mess and somehow people and places that he had never seen before appearing out of nowhere.

Well it is not really like he cared in the first place.

He was a mercenary first and foremost.

This thing just meant that he had a lot more bussiness and opportunities to take adventage off.

After all money just didn't grow on on trees.

And if he has learned something about his jig as a mercenary and treasure hunter during all these years, it is that no matter what, there will always be something that needs to be recovered or stealed.

Well that was mostly for him, stuff like assasination jobs or the like were just too much of a hassle to deal with the aftermath.

Especially when he is already wanted by many nations for his reputation, stealing stuff already had put him in various watchlists by others that he needed to use fake names on regular basis.

Well it is not like he can complain about it, he knew the risks and consequences when he took his jobs, but if there was one thing he made sure of it was that he completed it.

Unless he counts those jobs he took for Eggman all those years back, well it isn't like the old doctor can blame him, fleet feet and friends were just way up his paygrade, which is why he stopped seeking jobs out with him after that fiasco on Northstar Islands.

As he finally reached his destination he jumped off his ride and entered the bar.

Roo's bar wasn't a place he was really used to, but considering the current situation one couldn't be picky.

Especially with how many jobs were posted either from G.U.N., The Restoration or just overall third parties that wanted something out of them.

As he entered he saw the place was overall full with faces he had come to known recently, but didn't care much to learn anything about them outside their names and jobs they took.

That Piastol gal, if he was honest screamed at his survival instincs to not make her mad, much like when he worked with the doctor and no one can say to blame him about that.

When said girl weapon is a huge ass scyte accompanied by some kind of dog who no doubt would maul him in seconds, the smart thing was to at least try to keep things civil.

Which is why he had been avoiding the bounty hunting jobs for a while in this job you don't step on others steps or prey if you know what is good for you.

Same goes for that Canaan gal, she may not look like much, but he knew better now than to judge books by their cover, especially after the accident with certain Sungazer.

At least she takes the jobs G.U.N. has been posting to teach those idiots of the empire a lesson or two, which by default he cannot take since well, he has no doubt G.U.N. would have a pretty cold cell for him should he show his face to them.

Then there were the brothers clad in red and blue polishing their guns.

Robo and Mobo were honestly a pretty chill pair, they didn't talk more than necessary, but are guys you can count will have your back in any mission they are involved apart from being pretty good shots themselves.

He still needs to get them to accept that rematch once they have time, that tie still bothers him

But those are skills needed when those two are probably some of the best buglars he has seen out there, he still remembers when he was playing cards with his gang and heard those two talk with one of their clients which was an agent from G.U.N. if he remembers correctly.

Their personal motto was 3 minutes minimum to get everything they needed out of the place they were robbing.

Their task was to get information and schematics from one of the old doctor bases which was being controlled by one of those demon looking creatures.

From rumors they got everything not nailed down to the floor in about 6 minutes and made their escape with no one the wiser.

Then he finally approached a table, one that had his trusted mooks.

''FANG, YOU ARE BACK, DID YOU BRING ME SOMETHING AH AH!'' Bean the Dynamite exclaimed as he almost jumped Fang.

Only for the quiet Bark the Polar Bear to take him by the head and sit him back on the chair.

''Thanks Bark, but seriously you demented woodpecker, sometimes I wonder if you ever had screws to loose to begin with, but still you gave me a pretty good tip on where to go ya mook'' Fang said as he took a seat and pulled up his bag and pulled out some of the stuff he had gotten straight from under the empire noses, being some blue stones he got from their supply crates and that blue lance being the biggest price.

''Ohhh shiny, but what are they?'' Bean asked curiously, while Bark also saw the objects with a tone of curiosity.

''Meh dunno and I really don't care, the stones were in supply crates so they must be worth something, but the lance, boy did I fight to get it, this thing was heavely guarded and those lunatics even brought out one of their tanks to get it back, sadly for them they were 10 years too early to fight Fang the Sniper'' Fang boasted proudly

While busy with their own things the other mercenaries on the place perked their ears at what Fang had said, all of them thinking on how much of a lucky bastard the guy was at the moment, if that Empire was going almost all out to get that spear back it must be at least worth a pretty hefty amount.

''Nice, still what are you going to do with it, blow it up?'' Bean asked feeling the itch to make something go kaboom.

Fang annoyed responded ''Wha- No you fool, I am going to sell this for money of course, doubt any of us really have a use for it, still suppose I will need to give you guys 1/3 of the loot, I wouldn't have it hit it big if it wasn't for your info Bean''

Bark and Bean both smiled at that, they know Fang may be an asshat, but if they know something is that if you help him he will share the loot with you depending on the effort.

At that the trio just ordered some drinks and a deck of cards to continue discussing what to do with the loot.

As the day continued everything was going smoothly in the bar.

That was until a certain someone entered looking for jobs.

Someone Fang had clearly told time ago that his face wasn't a welcomed one within the circle of mercenaries between their kind.

At that Fang scowled and got up from his chair and went to "greet" the new arrival, he hated the guy a lot, but Roo no fighting rule means he couldn't just scare him by shooting him with his gun.

But if there was something he could do, it was to ruin the guy day "You know you have a lot of nerve showing yourself around here Mímic" Fang said with obvious venom on his voice to the octopus which catched the attention of everyone in the bar.

At that the Octopus named Mimic clearly irritated just sighed and responded back ''Mind your own damn bussiness Fang''.

''Well it is my damn bussiness that we still get contracts and make sure our reputation as people that do their job is mantained, wouldn't want for the contractors to lump us with rotten seafood like you just because we frequent the same place'' Fang responded back which now caught the interest of the others mercenaries outside of Bean and Bark.

In this job reputation was key for one to get contracts, rumors run from mouth to mouth and the better job the mercenaries that gather in a place the more rumors about their competency are spread and the more the people seek the place they gather the more contracts they get.

But if even one starts fumbling jobs, that means that less people seek the place, avoiding the rotten apple.

Now the question on the other mercenaries head was what job had this guy fumbled to have another mercenary to tell him to scram.

''Heh, that is funny coming from the guy who fumbled like 3 to 4 jobs to the same guy'' Mimic said in a mocking tone.

''Like you are one to talk, at least I stuck with the contractor to the end, unlike you, who literally went and told one of the most dangerous people on all the planet a lie, which I remind you was the job you took specifically to get rid of the loose end of selling your entire team'' Fang refuted the octopus.

Well that cemented for Robo and Mobo that this guy was bad news, lying to a client was a sure way to put a permanent black spot on them.

Meanwhile Piastol just though that the guy was utter trash no better than those damnable pirates.

As for Canaan it was taking all of her will to not shoot said octopus right there as the only memory that surfaced was that of Alphard after hearing the word betrayal.

''Tch, fine have it your way, I don't need this stupid place to get some jobs, I know when I am not wanted'' at that Mimic indignated went out the door, already feeling the eyes of the other mercs telling him he wasn't welcomed here and that if he didn't leave this place, well they weren't going to be responsible for what happened to him.

Fang could only smirk at that, he always hated that smug octopus from day one, selling the diamond cutters and outright lying to Eggman just meant that the guy would become a big problem later down the road if he continued frequenting any place the sniper went to.

''Hey purple, care to share with the class who was that guy?'' Robo Bonanza spoke up to Fang.

''Just a fool who thinks himself a hotshot, but if you want to know his name he is Mimic the Octopus, a traitor and a disgrace to the name of all mercenaries, guy literally sold out his team to save his own hide, not even for money and couldn't even finish that job to begin with'' Fang said telling the story of Mimic to the patrons of the bar.

He knew the details after all, since well certain Wolf was quite clear with the mercenaries back in that day before this shattering mess that no one was allowed to touch the octopus.

No that prey was her's alone.

''I don't suppose the guy has a bounty on him does he?'' Canaan spoke up for the first time in a while, with some clear intentions that she wanted the octopus head.

''Sadly not at the moment lady, besides guy is already spoken for, one of his old squad still lives thanks to him fumbling that betrayal and well she was quite clear with my team back then that the slimy coward was her to take down'' Fang said as he retook his seat within the table where his team stood.

''You still said not at the moment, you know something don't you weasel?'' Piastol said to Fang in a serious tone.

Fang just smirked devilish at that '' Well lets just say that the guy he ended up cheating on his contract, it is someone you don't double cross unless you are willing to have your days numbered, I know very few people who are willing and capable to stand up to said guy and that octopus is not one of them, oh yeah the good doctor may been missing at the moment, but I know it won't be for long, trust me if there is something I know about the good doctor it is that he is too stubborn to die just like that, once Doctor Eggman discovers the ruse that coward set up, well lets just say that Mimic becoming fish dinner will be the less of his worries and I don't doubt the good doctor will put a bounty on that idiot head, hmm probably a bounty I myself would be willing to take'' Fang said as he continued playing cards with his friends.

The newcomers just took in the information, that the guy apparently will piss off someone very dangerous once his ruse is up and that they all will have the chance to hunt the snake that went out a while ago.

But the question for the new mercenaries in this world still remained.

Just who was this so called Doctor Eggman?

Well another one done, tbh I don't feel so confident about this one, mostly knowing of Mimic and Fang's gang on more detail,
But if there is something all these bounty hunters would share is that just by seeing Mimic they will deduce he is scum, Fang telling everyone his story would no doubt put him in a lot of shit lists too.

Sadly said scumbag is already the prey for certain Wolf with a bone to pick with said Octopus.

Sadly for said Wolf, if we ever learn she survived and that said octopus played us for a fiddle.

Well wanting his head on a silver plate will be the less of his worries.

Mimic played with fire tricking Doctor Eggman telling him that the diamond cutters were dead, while one remained alive.

And since we are still unaware that Whisper lives, well the Octopus can do whatever he wants.

But well as I said, if we ever see Whisper, then said Octopus better prepare a very shallow grave.

You don't trick the great Doctor Eggman without consequences.
