Yuhari's hardly spoken to us so far. I'm curious why she's approached us on her own. And that invistext is pretty vague. Could Yukari have cast a spell of some kind? It did seem to happen only after she spoke to us.

Part of that is because I often forget about her, and consequently she's had very little screentime.
It is certainly true that she's normally hanging off of Moka or Tsukune, however.

Although you'd consider your relationship with Yukari to be neutral, edging toward positive... from what you know of her, it seems out of character that the young Witch would come up and tell you this kind of thing just for its own sake.
You gaze imperiously at the girl for several seconds, but instead of explaining herself she just stares back, expression turning mildly confused for a moment and then increasingly anxious.

For such a smart cookie, evidently she's having an off day. It seems you'll have to spell it out for her. "Why are you telling me this?"
Yukari staggers back as if you'd shoved her, before she sneers at you. "Well for one thing," she (ironically?) says as if explaining to a small child, "Knowing Gin and his colossal hate-boner for you, he wouldn't have to twist much of anything in order to turn those stupid meatheads against you if you beat their champion and disband their team. And if we also consider the way you annihilated the Swimming Club...."
...it wouldn't be difficult at all to make you sound like some kind of dojo destroyer -- or in this context, a club crusher -- and at that point, it's just a matter of time until some spiteful or even well-intentioned schoolmate gets the bright idea to report you to the Student Council or the SPC.
You don't know too much about the makeup of either organization - which is starting to feel like a grievous oversight - but the possibility of such organized forces mobilizing against you and yours is a chilling one. Between your Hamon and your Stand, you're... reasonably confident you could fight off an army of your monster classmates if you had to. But with the drama surrounding the Newspaper Club, would Tsukune even still be able to release Moka's seal and bring out the badass other one? If not, then those three and Yukari would be all but helpless in the face of such odds.
It's a hell of a blow to your pride, but for your friends' sake you may need to just take a fall and let the wrestling club go.
....but in more pressing matters, you may have misjudged Yukari a little. She's unquestionably a brat who thinks much too highly of herself, but at the same time...
You could apologize for having doubted her, but you're confident that someone as intelligent as Yukari understands that without you needing to say it aloud.
Although, you're still not a fan of her attitude; even if she does pull consistently grades as good or better than you do, Yukari still needs to learn a certain amount of respect. So with that in mind, if for no other reason than because you know it'll piss her off....
You step forward and pick up her Witch Hat, before unceremoniously plopping a hand on Yukari's head and deliberately messing up her hair. "I guess you're a better kid than I gave you credit for."
Your message sent, you withdraw your hand and replace Yukari's hat before calmly walking away. You could explain to Yukari that a major part of looking cool is not caring about looking cool in the first place, but she needs to learn that for herself.

Heh. That she denies it so vehemently only proves she's still a kid. Although, when you consider the way she said that, and given how Yukari often behaves....

Just before she'd produce it, however, you can plainly witness the epiphany as she's having it. The gears are turning in her head, and as she puts everything together, her expression transitions from white-hot rage, to sadness and.... is that a small sense of understanding you can glimpse in her eyes? So, Yukari's managed to learn some empathy. But even so, she's still just a kid, and if the three teenagers at the center of this drama are having trouble dealing with it, you know damn well that Yukari isn't equipped to either. "Isn't there something I can do to fix this?"
If only it were that simple.
"Not really," you say with a shrug. "Those three need to sort it out for themselves."
There's nothing else that really needs to be said, so you turn on your heel and leave. One way or another, you've got a date in the ring, and Morioka's all but certainly going to be reporting on it.

Glaring back toward the school, you can see Yukari sticking her tongue out at you from several meters away. "And that's what you get for calling me a kid!"

I'm really curious as to how this is going to turn out. I think the closest thing to this Jotaro's done was in canon against the guy with the microscopic Stand.
