Kind of a shame that isn't going to happen.

It certainly could if we end up fighting enough, Jotaro's not the sort to stand back from monsters, if we don't master the Ripple enough to be able to punch on their level we're going to take more than a few injuries.

It'll either be a matter of hobbling around unable to fight or taking on the vampire juice and I doubt that Tsukune is going to be as fighty here given that Jotaro is going to throwing himself in.

Like I said, if we don't master the Ripple quickly I think circumstances and Jotaro's nature will naturally lead to vampirism.

On an unrelated note I totally just realised that one could totally rip off the Belmonts with the Ripple and a whip. Hell! A steel whip would actually be very viable given how a good a conductor steel is.

[X]wouldn't mind doing it again, but without the prefacing bodily injuries next time.
[X]Don't perspective change (skip to the next scene)

I would think leather would be a better conductor of ripple.

Because it's an organic material? I dunno, the ripple travels well through fibres and it does perfectly well in hair. As far as I can recall water is the best conductor of the Ripple with steel being good enough to melt an zombie's (Bruford) sword arm off his body.

It is interesting that Ripple energy can build up and linger in bodies, acting almost like a fiery poison in zombies and vampires that receive a 'dose' strong enough to kill them but not enough to incinerate them outright. It also lingered when Kars melted Joseph's knee, melting and vaporising the tissue for an extended period of time.

I'm not sure if we could use that to harm our foes, perhaps concentrating Ripple energy into their bloodstream over the course of a fight, steadily cooking their brain?

A question for the gm: does "prefacing bodily injuries" include being injected with vampire juice, or is it just getting launched through two trees?
Just being thrown through trees and skidding across the ground.

That was definitely... something. I'll figure out what it was eventually, I'm sure, but for now it's definitely something.
Basically my reaction to finishing Steel Ball Run. So emotionally confused right now....
re:write-ins: even if I don't specify that they're options, I may allow them at my authorial discretion.

Now, count up your sins votes! (STILL OPEN)

[X] Tsukune and inner moka.

[X] disconcerted.

You're Jotaro Kujo

This girl just randomly kicked a monster goon into you, then somehow made amends by injecting vampire blood into you after randomly transforming into a completely different person.

What. The. Fuck.

[X] Kurumu (active time event)

I'm incredibly curious, I'll admit.

I have to admit that was interesting and i want to see where this leads. My votes:

Please tell me that i am not the only one here who wants to know what is going on in her head?!

@eva1: if we were to become a vampire what would we lose access to in the process? I cant seem to shake the image of a vampire jotaro fighting with ripple and stand against dio, weired right?!

The limitation on vampires using the Ripple is pretty reasonable. While the sun won't kill a R+V Vampire, it does give them a bad sunburn, and having solar/life energy moving through your body sounds like it'd hurt.

Pretty girl kissed us, that's cool. She did something to us, that's not cool.
All in all, wouldn't mind either vote if disconcerted didn't make it sound like we're kind of afraid of her.
Maybe wary or something. But not disconcerted.

Hm, would anyone be more likely to vote for something like:

[X] You're disturbed by how easily you were so grievously injured as well as being bitten by a vampire. However you'd have to say that being so close to a beautiful and not annoying girl wasn't so bad.

It clearly get the point of being disturbed and put out by the injury and being bitten by a vampire but acknowledges the understandable enjoyment of the contact itself.

[X] Tsukune

Because I don't want to mess up the voting system.

Is it a "you're getting torn up inside" kind of thing or a "the two power sources (partially) cancel out"?

Is it a "you're getting torn up inside" kind of thing or a "the two power sources (partially) cancel out"?
Mostly the former.

Also, this came out much easier than I thought it would.

So, to recap. The wussy vampire girl randomly turned into a total badass and stomped the shit out of some kind of ogre-thing. And when she sent it flying, a case of bad timing made it crash into you.

After that, now-badass-vampire-girl bites you and, instead of feeding on you like her wussy self did to Tsukune, put something into you to fix you up (which was kind of pleasureable, if you're honest, though the context made it really weird).

Also, she knows about your relation to your gramps, and rather than unnerved, you think she seems kind of excited about it.

You... really have no idea what the hell you're supposed to feel in this situation.

And all of this shit on your second morning at this place, less than 24 hours after the same chick's wimp self hit you in the face with a bike.

"Fucking bizarre..."

You're pretty sure that it's going to be really awkward if you're around Tsukune or Moka for a while. Maybe if you distance yourself from them for the next few days, that awkwardness will fade away.

You are Kurumu Kurono, a new freshman at Youkai Academy, and your True Form is「Succubus」.

Your main goal in being here isn't learning to better survive in the human world - after all, you've been pretty successful in doing so up to this point.

No, your greater 「purpose」for attending Youkai is to attempt to find your 「Man of Destiny」.

The way your mother (the only other Succubus you've really ever known) tells it, Succubus women typically fall for men who are 「resistant to their Charm ability」.

It's only the second morning of your time here, but you've already had your eyes on a few select individuals.

Like your upperclassman, Jotaro Kujo, for instance. It's true that you only cast your very weakest Charm upon him when you "accidentally" bumped into him yesterday. But even so, the fact that he didn't appear to give you a single thought afterward, marked him as a promising candidate for taking further into the 「interview process」.

And yet, looking at the scene before you from your treetop perch, you find yourself incredibly frustrated. As if it weren't bad enough that that shitty 「Moka Akashiya」were stealing boys' attention from you and making things just that little bit harder for you, it seems that her true form is that of a「Vampire」. And it looks like she's got her eye on Kujo-senpai as well.

Between that earth-rending kick, and the nauseatingly powerful aura that Moka was emitting, it seems that the legends about the Vampire's power are pretty accurate.

Adding to your frustration, you'll admit with no small degree of envy, is that Moka's true form is very, very beautiful. Even moreso than her harmless-looking disguised form.

You know, as if by your woman's intuition, that Jotaro Kujo could be one magnificent catch of a man. But with competition like that Vampire... getting too invested in him now could lead to disaster down the line.

What are you going to do? Your choice right here, right now, could impact whether Kurumu lives or dies in this world.

[]Commit to pursuing Kujo Jotaro, and gamble everything on him.

[]That vampire pisses you off. Maybe you can get back at her, by taking away her favorite lunchbox...

[]Something tells you that nothing positive is going to come of hunting a man associated with that vampire. Just lay low, and keep your options open for the time being.

I really don't feel like there are any good answers here...

Her ignoring us seems like one way for her to die - Moka saves the lot of them pretty often. Plus; I don't think the Enforcers would stand for Kurumu seducing the student body - without monetary compensation.

Kurumu going after Tsukune...I don't know. This time, it's not Tsukune she wants; it's revenge. That won't end well. Ever.

Pursuing Jotaro...I really don't know with this one.

What I'm thinking of is probably not what you're thinking of. If she pursues Jotaro or Tsukune, there is a higher chance that she will end up heartbroken. Which, for a love-based monster, is A Bad Thing.
Also, Kurumu's canon interest in Tsukune was initially born out of revenge in much the same way, for much the same reasons. What's so cool about Kurumu is the way how she really grew as a character after being exposed to Tsukune's mercy, and became such a fiercely loyal and protective friend to the people around her.

Kurumu is very much the Speedwagon to Tsukune's Jonathan, in that sense.
