I want to get our Ripple up, Eva said as of right now, the only person we really need to be wary of is Kuyo. Later on we probably need to worry about Anti-Thesis and Hokuto as well. Given how big a douchebag Kuyo is, I'd rather be capable of throwing down with him sooner rather than later. If we get strong enough we can probably prevent Tsukune's Ghoulification entirely which will be telling Canon to go f*** itself.
The only Antithesis members you really need to worry about are Hokuto and his (apparent) right-hand man Kiria. The rest are kinda-sorta mooks.
This is of course assuming the GM don't just veto'd Jotaro using hamon bubbles.
Going to veto Jotaro using hamon bubbles. They're not really his thing.

As a theory, I think it may be possible to make a gun that shoots hamon infused bullets.

Every individual bullet would have to carry a small quantity of vegetable oil. The easiest way to do it would be to modify hollow point bullets by pouring vegetable oil into the hollow point, then placing some sort of cap over the bullet to keep it there.

Then when the gun is fired, you just infuse the gun with hamon as you shoot. The veggie oil maintains the hamon in your shots and carries it to the target, where the bullets expand as hollow point bullets do when they hit a target, preventing overpenetration and ensuring the oil remains in the body of the target to do as much damage as possible.

That isn't practical for us to consider for Jotaro for obvious reasons, but can you imagine how bullshit Joseph would have been in Battle Tendency if he had one of those?

Of course, until we get Speedwagon Foundation to handle doing that for us we could substitute with wooden bullets. Wouldn't do as much damage since they have less mass but still devastating to monsters.

Let's just focus on general hamon upgrades, not to mention that delicious red comet you guys have been harping on about.

I was under an impression that firing wooden bullets from a gunpowder gun is incredibly devastating to the bullets. And/or the gun.

From my understanding (AKA Google-fu) of rifling and internal ballistics, when a gun fires, the bullet slightly expands due to heat of the shot, causing it to fit into the grooves of the rifling.

This creates a seal that prevents the gases behind it from leaking past it, increasing the force imparted by the gases to the bullet. This increases the bullet's velocity and makes it more effective.

If your bullet was made of wood, rifling would be less effective. Much less effective.

Actual Wooden Bullets do exist, but they are usually made hollow so that when fired they disintegrate into non-lethal splinters. They were originally used as training rounds for the Germans in World War 2, but now see use for riot control in I don't know where.

An actual solid wood bullet could actually be an effective weapon, but it would only be useful at point-blank range. Any farther and you'll have issues.

Need a d10 for "new technique". A critical hit gets you the new technique, any higher number becomes the die you'll have to roll for it next time. (unless you roll a 10, which will be treated as a 9)
