Alright, breaking the forth wall here. I have attempted to use other Khazalid words for swearing, but haven't put too much effort into that. Madslayer had been using wazzock, because its the only one he is really familiar with.
If you know any, please share them.
Some I have found that are relevant are Elgram (weak), Grumbaki, elgi lover (which isn't really relevent to this quest too much sans elders unease with working alonside the 'cousins' of the Asur), Khazhunki (to insult the elves, or goat riding Khazad.). There's always Kruti, but we don't have goats (it would be like calling a New Zealander a Sheep shagger, but they're running cattle).
when it comes to insults or alegations, aside from the use of wazzock I've largely kept things in english, partially so I don't have to trawl through the Khazalid dicstionary every time I write.
all the words in there either are or could be used for an insult or profanity to things and beings, dwarfes do swear on the ancestor's sometimes like Grugni'airy arse.
Bok - Banging head on a low tunnel ceiling, scar caused by this.
Deb - Untried, untested, unconditioned.
Doh - Stupid, gullible.
Dongliz - Parts of Dwarf body impossible to scratch.
Drengi - A Slayer.
Elgram - Weak, thin, feeble.
Elgraz - Construction that seems about to collapse (noun).
Garaz - Fearless, rebellious.
Ginit - Small stone in a boot which causes discomfort.
Grik - Neck pain caused by stooping in tunnels.
Grumbaki - A Dwarf who whines, complains or grumbles a lot.
Ik - Placing one's hand into something slimy and unpleasant in the dark.
Kruti - Dwarf suffering from a goat illnes; a goatherd, an insult.
Skrati - Poor prospector.
Skruff - Scrawny beard (considered a terrible insult).
Thag - To kill in a dishonourable or dishonest fashion.
Thagi - A traitorous killer.
Ufdi - A vain Dwarf; a Dwarf who excessively preens his beard, implies that he cannot be trusted to fight.
Umgak - Poorly made. (Literally "Human-made".)
Unbaraki - Oathbreaker(s), an extreme insult.
Ungrim - A Dwarf yet to fulfill an important oath; untrustworthy.
Wanaz - A disreputable Dwarf with an unkempt beard (insult).
[X] Have them assemble their Axe Thrower (Dc of 45 to ensure that it does not break for every attack and does not injure anyone but will cut through lightly armoured and medium armour troops quite easily.) (Improves your clans chance of producing more radical Master Engineers) (Where does it set up as it will cover an entire section)
-[X] Eastern Wall
"No I don't care what the instructions say, they're all in Riekspiel!" The engineer growled. "Well I'm sorry master Thorek." A whinny nasally voice echoed down through the speaking pipe. "But sadly we only have the assembly blueprints in Riekspiel."
Thorek snarled at the device. "Then why is it in Umgi! Ancestors I know for a fact the old codger wrote several of these in Khazalid." A pause could be heard over the device, before a muffled discussion continued. "Well sadly Master Thorek, Master Alvarr's apprentices took several of his surviving plans with them when they traveled to the Umgi port." Thorek stopped just as he began to rant. "Wait what? He's left the hold."
The speakeasy paused before continuing. "Yes sir. Now if you have any further problems I will be able to send an apprentice to act as translator should it be neccessary." Thorek blinked. "You still haven't even told me why its in Riekspiel."
He gritted his teeth as a grate slammed shut on the opposite end of the device. Ancestors, he hated the 'tech support' team.
The lady of Rosselond kept her attention on the dwarf map, Lord Gotri had provided them of the city, and projected enemy positions while a jar of quills shattered against the stone walls.
Refusing to change her gaze until she made an adjustment to where the Tharbad guard would be placed, she raised her voice. "Are you finished dear husband?"
"RAAAGGGGH!" Another jar, this time of ink shattered into the fireplace, dousing a portion of it, dimming the room.
Lifting her hands she gave a dainty clap. The remaining guards, currently refusing to look at their 'commander' gave a sigh of relief before departing. As the door closed a chill fell through the room, before Aragost found himself shoved against a wall.
Grey eyes glared down at him. "Destroy another part of my crystal collection and I will exile you to fleet duty for the next 3 years!" She hissed. The son of Halton glared back unflinching. "My father is dead, and that dwarf relieved me of command!"
A brow was raised. "And who's fault was that?" The young Gondorian's rage shuttered at that. "T-t-the surgeon said...." She gave him a look. "The surgeon said he suffered a heart attack. But why did he suffer it?" Her husband refused to meet her gaze. Content that he was quelled, she released him sending the lad to roll down to the floor.
Sighing she patted him on his armoured shoulder. "Its alright dear, let it out."
No one but the pair remained in the chambers. So his wounded pride wasn't savaged further that day.
Edited by Imperialbriton The Burning of Anfelas – Dark days ahead
Lightning flashed overhead bathing the fields ahead of you in light as you watched the umgi, their formations just out of range of the clans Thunderers and umgi archers, while the ballista nearby was directed towards the ocean alert for any more ships, fiddling a little with Josef's dagger while tapping your foot you wondered if the umgi along the eastern wall were having a more active time, though the tell-tale silence of the cannon was telling. Though you hoped that was just the rain drowning out the sound.
Letting out a sigh you took a sip of ale before storing it on your belt, "Bjorn, send a runner to our right flank to keep an eye out, umgi should start their assault soon," You sheathed the dagger and moved along the wall as you spotted the elder nodding, your eyes drifting over the shrouded fields outside, the umgi spreading out into three groups their lines at least nine deep their shields locking as they waited, letting out a huff you looked around and found Faragrim, the elder looking rather bored as he chatted with his fellow elders, he gave you a nod as you approached.
Faragrim easily detaching himself from his fellow longbeards as they grumbled before falling back into an easy silence only sharing a few words. "Something you need of me Gotri?" He asked as his dull eyes scanned over you and then back to the field.
Shaking your head you leaned against the edge of the wall your boot slipping slightly on the umgak construction though from both training and experience you found that it was barely even a bother, "Nothing at the moment, just waiting for the umgi to try something feels a little off though can't quite place why, though with how these lot are it the looks like we are facing an umgi with at least a modicum of intelligence if their groupings are anything to go on." Your eyes scanned for any advance though that was woefully lacking.
Faragrim barked out a laugh as he joined you at the edge of the wall, "Aye, though I think their still busy shitting themselves over what happened to the lot in the harbour, their lot is a bunch of elgram whiners, why I could swear the grobi put up a better showing than this, at least they managed to push us back a little at Mingol." His hands going to his ale at his belt.
You nodded though you could not help but wince that at least at that battle you had managed to avoid any of your kin been slain. "maybe, but then we held a better position and I would rather much of the throng was not so… Deb" You saw the elder about to protest though it looked only out of pride for the dawi. "Don't deny it some of the clan are as green as a damn wutelgi's ass and it's only thanks to the elders that their even prepared for the realities of battle, hell those born within this world are nearly of an age where they can join the throng and I cannot help but wonder if they will survive, every time I look at them I wonder if they are ready and today we lost six more today and they were from our home and they died." Your voice came out more bitter than you would have liked.
Your elder shrugged as he patted you on the shoulder, "They will learn in time and there is no better place to steel yourself than a harsh battle, I would think you were aware of that. After all you fought some of the worst and survived to become stronger than most.
You grunted as you took a gulp of ale as you gave him a gimlet eye, "I suppose though I would rather never pay the cost like that again. Especially as far as I can tell only four others are even near my age, never mind the losses amongst those just older than me.
Faragrim gave a resolute nod, his eyes seeming to hold a deep pain, "Aye, too many good dawi died that day but those who survived are only stronger for it…" He seemed to want to say more before suddenly getting into a fighting stance his eyes narrowing in the distance. "Talks over Gotri, seems the umgi got their signal."
Nodding you focused on the formations moving over the field, just dark enough to make out the formations but not the individual's themselves. "Aye, good luck elder and may the Ancestors watch over you." You said before marching back to your spot that raised you just slightly above your fellow dawi, raising your hammer your eyes meeting those of your clan that you could. "These Umgi! Have Wronged us, their blades spilling both the blood of our CLAN! Taking from us good and honourable dawi," All dawi present bowed their heads no doubt giving a short prayer to Gazul before they focused on you again a fire in their eyes, "Their names have been inscribed within the Damaz Kron, now let's show these umgi why the dawi of the KARAZ-ANKOR are to be feared!" You finished as Thunder danced across the sky its sound drowned out by the roars of the dawi.

Easily navigating your gun you had it aimed on target within a moment the group already in range though you waited just a moment to gather your bearings as Falstad bellowed orders to the rest of the Throng his words guiding not just those he was in charge of but also others as you all selected your targets and unleashed a volley.
The guns of your clan roaring over both the rain and shouts of the enemy as you watched all of the umgi's central formation completely evaporate under the eyes of the Thunderers deadly aim, while a moment later the centre formation suffered more as bolt flew through the air, the slight sound of shattering wood and the fact that most of the only stumbled was telling that your clans crossbows were not nearly as effective but it was enough as many of the umgi not dead looked to be injured as they were pulled back their formation in tatters.
The Umgi's remaining formations shouted a few words and immediately began to withdraw, though not fast enough because within a moment the Throng was ready again and unleashed a volley of death rarely seen as dawi accuracy was shown to be above reproach as even more of the umgi melted under the rain of death the right-hand formation crumbling under accurate fire as bolts wounded others further, those still living broke and immediately retreated not caring for cohesion as they pulled back as quickly as possible.
You snarled as you watched a few score of them get out of range though it was of little matter the troops meant to face you had all but broken. Nodding you turned away from the group and looked over to your side only to see your umbi allies to receive a deadly volley of arrows, only half of it making to their ranks but it slammed home killing a fair few some toppling off the walls while others cries of pain.
The only saving grace that you could see was that the umgi had actually managed to Whether it fairly well and while more than you would have liked looked to be injured they were at least alive, glancing around you spotted who you were looking for, her red hair standing out like a flare in the rain as she went about reloading her crossbow. "Lady Helgar, take your order and make sure that the Umgi survive I would rather not lose too many of our allies for our future battles." You called out as you finished reloading your own gun the Throng already shifting its aim towards the umgi as their elite stopped and formed a shield wall while their chaff continued to run at the wall.
Taking aim you aimed for their armoured elite, Falstad ordering just as much as the plate was actually good enough to stop good dawi crossbows and you were sure some of the clans bullets failed to penetrate their armour only the skill of the clan allowing for so many to die, while you noted Hokul directing his rangers towards the umgi archers nearest to you.
Though as you fired alongside your fellow Thunderers you noted that while you dropped some of their elite the rangers performing excellently themselves that it was only those in umgak or no armour charging, the others withdrawing under the cover of the archers or they would have had you not watched the umgi somehow botch their entire volley their arrows perforating those leading the charge in the back, shaking your head you shrugged as a few elders barked out laughs as they cheered at the umgi's misfortunes. Though that was short lives as you watched the last of the elites actually pull back.
Growling you loaded as quickly you could while glancing towards Bjorn at your side as seemed to scowl further, "Send runners to our allies, it seems we're in for the long hall and get me news from the eastern wall I want to know what the umgi tried to do there." You said as you shot one last time as you watched the last of the umgi pull back to the forest and into the safety of a growing camp that you could now only make the outline of, a few umgi seeming to be looking at you from afar just through the shroud umgi looking scope in their hands.

Aragost Keeping collected: 3(DC of 40 his wife has been trying to help)
Gotri Keeping relatively calm: 85(DC of 20 you're a dwarf)
You drank deeply from your tankard before placing it into the table as the sun slowly began to set, the storm having passed a few hours ago, the sounds of drums outside a constant reminder that the town you were in was surrounded, though it was not as bad as it could be. Looking around your eyes went over the various commander while Aragost glared at you from besides his wife as he kept on speaking of a frankly absurd plan.
You only zoned in as he brought up his last point, "… that is why I propose that we launch a night raid on their camps so that the people do not falter from this constant mental war." He said while pounding his fist into the desk. Shaking your head you turned to one of the elders to ask something when he slammed his fists into the desks harder than before, "Is there something you wish to say Dwarf!, I am sure my council will gladly listen to your ideas that will get more of our people killed instead of yours." He spat as a glob actually landing in your Ale as his council shot him looks of worry while his wife slapped a hand against her face.
Having dealt with his kind before (particularly yourself), you didn't even deign him with a glare. Instead frowning as you glanced at your ale, before pouring its contents onto the white flagstone floor. You didn't miss the wince lady Baleriel made, the ale likely to leave a stain that would need either bleaching or sanding to get out, but right now, you didn't care. While many would call you a dullard, you hadn't managed to navigate the return of the throng from Kislev by drinking warlords and umgi thanes under the table. Your next words chosen carefully you readied to open your mouth, before a great slam echoed from across the table.
Uvor, previously mulling an umgi wine (the lad being quite the lightweight) was standing his face red and seething. He snarled in the elgi tongue, something you were still quite inexperienced with (so it was surprising the lad knew it), leaving both the 'commander' and his wife floundering. Pushing his chair back with a screech he stormed up to Halton's son before slugging him in the face.
None of the umgi bodyguards, a mixture of men in Sable or Green armour edged with silver, moved from their position, the heavily injured 'Thorongil' giving a satisfied nod before gingerly sipping a draught Matron Bellaena of the Valkyrinn had given him as a tonic. Un challenged the lad leaned in, hissing words in his folk's tongue. Some you recognised, but many you were still unfamiliar with.
As the umgi was about to start cursing, you let out a cool command. "Uvor, return to your throne." The lad blinked, confusion and anguish marring his face, he almost glared at you for a moment, before quickly gathering his senses and returned to his seat. With the light grind of his seat moving back into place, you rose, taking one of the 'napkins' lady Baleriel had the table laid with, and started wiping the tankard, while you took a place sitting on the corner of the table facing the seated umgi.
Your hand in the tankard wiping it down, you gave the lad a nod. "You have my thanks Uvor, I won't besmirch you for defending another dawi's honour." He beamed at your words, before you continued. "But a Thane does not let his temper get the best of him." You sigh, before bringing your gaze upon the squirming umgi. "Be they dwarf or human." Uvor nodded though he appeared more confused than anything, while the Mistress of Rosselond rested her head in her hand and looked to be muttering to herself.
Turning towards Aragost you scowled. "To tell you the truth lad, I only came here for three things. The lady" You nodded to Baleriel. "Your father." He snarled at that. "And the fact my clan would have my hide if they didn't have something they could do after his folk." You gave a mirthful glare to 'Thorongil'. "Killed off all the Urks, Grobi and Trolls." The 'lord of Cardolan' while looking quite regal did dare to flush at that. "I don't give a rockslide over what opinions you have or had." You sigh reaching for a pitcher. "Manlings are like Mayflies." Some of the gondorians bristled at your words, though the 'Arnorians' remained silent. "Unless you seek to make a grudge with me Umgi, I'll keep my enmity to your generation and you alone. Furthermore I'll keep your father in mind when I treat with your sons.". You finish cleaning your tankard with a cloth before filling it. "Still, surprisingly you 'dunedain' have long lives." You point a finger at 'Thorongil.' "Your son still hasn't grown a single grey hair in all the years I've known him, and he looked in his late 20's when we first met." You turned your gaze back to Aragost. "So maybe in old age you'll finally gather some wisdom." You lift the tankard to your lips before taking a draught. "But until then, no Dawi ale for trade deals." A gasp rang from Baleriels mouth before she shot daggers at her husband. "Aye, don't think I don't know you and Halton tried selling off some diluted ale I gifted to him, to the elgi. I tell you what, never have I met elves as poor at taking their drink as in Lindon." Finally, your piece made, you glared at the ruler of the colony. "Now get him out of here before I decide to deal with him in a… more appropriate fashion."
She gave a nod and dragged her fool of a husband out no doubt for a good tongue lashing as you turned to the umgi commanders, "Return to your posts, I'll call for another gathering once things look to be changing. And you 'Thorongil'." The tired chieftain raised his drink in recognition as the door slammed shut, leaving only 'Arnorians' within. "Had better start explaining what all this 'Thorongil; nonsense is all about."
He seemed to mull it over before glancing at the room, some unseen message passed to his followers as they went about ensuring that there was no one listening which was never a good sign, especially as secretive umgi were never something you liked dealing with.
Arrasuil leaned back into his chair the second some signal was given as he let out a sigh, "Thane gotri, I'll not lie your people have helped mine immensely and it is for this that I am answering this and because my son will likely tell you upon your return if I don't, though I will not say much here, walls tend to have ears and it is something I would rather not reveal, especially until we are ready to face the might of the enemy again."
You nodded motioning for him to continue though it was rather strange that he had to be careful unless there were some umgi that would seek to harm your allies.
Arrasuil took a sip of ale as he collected himself, "It goes back to the fall of Arthedain, my ancestors were… key members in the battles of the time and because of it were targeted by the Witch-king, thankfully my ancestors of the time survived by a near thing and with much of our kingdom strength spent and broken, we decided to meld with the shadows and be protectors of our land despite our weakness. It has not been... uncommon for members of my family to journey into Gondor and so an agreement was reached with the Nobility that we would use a pseudonym for when we do so. This allows them to avoid troubling us, as we hope to avoid troubling them, so that when the time comes they help us and in return we help them. The name itself means eagle of the star, in reference to a hero of old Numenor...
You listened patiently to his story until he slowly stopped it for a moment and let out a sigh, "now as much as I wish to continue this I would rather have a safer time and place, that is if my answer was satisfactory?" He asked, you nodded and let the subject drop, especially as you had other things to do and a lot to think about but at least you had an idea as to what was going on now.
***
The umgi commanders gave you weary nods as they did their best to both be respectful and avoid your path, the umgi women going around helping those that they could now that most of the wounded had been seen to. It took you a short moment to reach the eastern wall, the wall freshly scrubbed from the obscene barrage that they had suffered, though it could have been much worse were it not for the artillery and poor umgi aim, though you supposed it helped that Lady Baherial managed to keep morale high as she fought on the front.
Shaking your head you glanced out over the field of dead and could not help but wonder how much better it could have been with a few grudge throwers, the crows already feasting upon the dead and would no doubt need to be disposed of to avoid Disease, still the umgi seemed content to play with your minds though it was rather lacking for the dawi it seemed to be getting to the others as much as it shouldn't. You went about watching those watchful umgi still looking at your walls, no doubt looking for an opening but with your clan managing the rotations things were calm for now.
Lady Balerial arrived an hour later whilst you were speaking with your clan's master engineers who were in high spirits at the success of their latest work, though you were rather leery of trusting the thing, especially as it had lacked even the most basic of engineering facilities. You spotted her approach a flustered look about her as she adjusted her armour as she glanced at you nervously.
Giving her a nod, you crossed your arms as she got closer, her eyes darting to the walls her hand falling to her weapon as she gulped, shrugging you waved off the elders to give the lass some comfort, especially as you still wanted things to remain amicable between her port and the hold. "Is there something you need from me Lady or are you just doing the rounds?"
She halted and stiffened slightly her eyes not meeting yours as she glanced towards the walls, "Nothing Master Dwarf, I was just wondering how well do you know Thorongil and his lot" Her eyes took on a rather strange gleam.
Letting out a hum you walked to the top of the wall as she followed looking rather uncomfortable, "I would say we're more acquaintances, though I'm closer with his son not that I have much time to actually speak with him, but we see each other often enough." You said as the umgi just out of reach started a new chant making your roll your eyes. While Lady Balerial startled at the change-making you chuckle. "We can talk more later; I doubt we'll find the peace we need to discuss matters here.
Lady Balerial nodded as she dropped whatever she wanted to say and followed you, "Very well, though I doubt we will get much peace with their constant chanting and drumming.
You let out a huff, "It's not so bad, why the grobi back home make it a habit of capturing a few unlucky people and torturing them to try and draw defenders out, compared to that this is rather serene if I must say, calm too from what I can tell." You said as you lead her deeper into the town as you discussed a few plans the two of you trying to mend the damage her husband had done.
***
You readied your axe as a second dusk was upon you the commanders and elders in agreement and after a full days worth of preparation you were almost ready, looking around you could not help but smile at the plan, it was rather bold but if it worked you would essentially cripple the corsairs before they were ready to launch their next assault now that they had probed the town's defences excessively. You just hoped that when they came that it would be enough especially as the umgi had shifted their forces and looked to be gearing to face your section of the wall.
Though as you were about to start your own shift the plan a good few hours away you heard the sound of umgi horn's echo from the distance, sharing a look with Logan you slung your thrung over your shoulder and jogged as fast as you could to the wall, Rising up the stairs, you found many a Gondorian on their knees, praying for salvation from some god called 'Illuvatar', and that the situation was hopeless. Meanwhile, the 'Arnorians' on duty were for some reason busy rolling their eyes, then again there seemed to be quite a few familiar faces from Amon Mingol.
Reaching the top you came to a stop your eyes scanning over the ocean to see a large fleet of corsair ships, close to the size of the fleet that had just landed, gulping you grabbed Logans arm and turned to him, "Send a runner to our Lady Baherial, She's to arm everyone who can wield a blade and to do so quickly." He gave you a nod as you turned back to the fleet.
The artillery within the town already adjusting to strike at the ships as you gulped down all the Ale you had on you as you started praying to Grimnir to give you strength for the coming battle and that at least a few of the clan would survive this.
Though as you were about to turn back into the town to prepare for a good fight you stopped and snatched one of the engineers' telescopes and turned to focus on the ships closely, the view you saw brought a grim smile to your face, the tops of their decks lacking both umgi and wood, their ships more likely to sink than anything else, many of the ships bearing scars from a battle that Admiral Arcantil had no doubt fought but as you surveyed them more you noticed something in the distance and nearly let out a sigh of relief as you spotted the familiar flags and ships of your allies hot on their heels. Folding the scope, you handed it back to the engineer.
Before looking at the umgi within the camp, the movement that your allies had thought was alarming brought a chuckle out of you as you watched them scramble, though instead of the organised formations you watched as the umgi their made a mad dash for their ships. No doubt to escape and withdraw now that things had proven difficult for them.
Shaking your head, you turned to the nearby elders and barked in Khazalid to let the Throng rest it seemed your fight was over for now that they were retreating, not that it would stop the cannon from trying to sink one or two more ships as they made to escape.

You went over your armour one last time as you let out a frosted breath, the brisk morning air rather refreshing now that things had been cleaned up, the sheer number of dead umgi having had the townsfolk enjoy their victory and at been alive. Uvor even enjoyed his time as his clan was celebrated alongside yours despite only having seen battle in the eastern probing attack.
You shook your head as you watched the last of the supplies get loaded onto the wagon, Faragrim at your side as your clan was preparing to leave, glancing over the umgi you gave a sad smile as they celebrated, "How long do you think it will be before they realise that this was merely them probing the place for weak spots?" Your eyes going over the umgi the youngest of your clan actually roaring in victory despite a few of their lost clan members.
Faragrim let out a huff, "They won't but at least they have a few defences, just please don't ask the clan to build another city I think Bjorn might strangle ya if you do, also when are we leaving?" your conversation drawing the nearest of umgi's attention.
You shrugged as you stretched a little, "Maybe, as for when we leave I think within an hour or two once we've gotten the lads gathered and I've still to speak with a few people but I won't be long so best to gather the Throng and Uvor, rather not leave that clan to wonder the wilderness till their sorted." You said before departing glad that at least your clan would have the supplies and trade it would need, now you just had to smooth some things over to ensure everything stayed the same or at least was capable of keeping it.

Well, that's the end of this Arc and well history is kind of changed though not because of you fighting, it has more to do with because the port was built in the first place, it allowed the Northern Gondor navy to pull back and regroup at a safer location and actually meet up with the elves in this timeline, the two of them completely thrashing the Umbar navy and securing much of the coast, keep in mind a lot of the coastal villages for gondor were still burned, though the big difference now is that Gondor's navy has not been sunk and many of the towns and villages that would have been burnt to the ground survived simply because those that would have done the deed were not there. So yay.
Also, the battle ended up being shorter mostly because as is said while you depart it was not an actual assault but probing attacks they were looking for weaknesses because Umbar will continue to raid and detailed plans make that easy especially for places like Rosse-lond. Though since Gondor still has a naval presence now they will find it a bit harder to make it this far north though Umbar has suffered a major setback with a decent number of ships sunk.
Until the next update guys enjoy.

I'm not entirely sure what your getting at? You do know what the preferred tactics of Sauron are correct? And how little he cares about his underlings (or the kings men/black Numenoreans thoughts towards lesser men)
For one, Umbar would have a population in the millions just for the city alone, and that's forgetting the surrounding lands it rules. Then you have the constant stream of haradrim into the region as colonists/migrants. And that humans usually recover from heavy losses every few generations.
In the case of Mordor, the difference there was that the number of forces Sauron marched out to minas tirith was only a small portion of his full muster. He had many more orcs prepared just in case that battle failed and Gondor sought to push the initiative; which is 'exactly' (cough cough, distraction) what happened. And about half his armies were also sent to the north, combining with the forces from dol guldor and easterlings to take Erebor.
Sauron can breed his armies with cheap troops and waste them against the enemy. And does this constantly to test the enemy, find a weakness and drive the wedge deep until it causes cracks to rip through the structure. He has the wealth and the contacts to draw forth great armies with just an emissary. And things like this (exactly like what happened here) is what happens every few years in Gondor proper. Maybe not the losses to this level for the corsairs, but definately the scale, but across most of the kingdom at the same time

and? middle ages france had a pop of 17 million and a defeat with similar losses like the battle of poitiers in the 100 years war allowed the english to run rampart for near a decade. Umbar won´t be able to just shrugg such a defeat of immediately

The problem is that fielding that many troops is expensive. A loss of this many troops in a single probing assault should Bankrupt Umbar.
For reference, the Spanish Empire at its height fielded a standing army of 10,000 troops and was only able to do so because of massive continual shipments of bullion from the New World. Losing that army would have broken them.
Economics is something all men must bow before, even Black Numenoreans.
Also in canon the Umbar did this raid very well, they only start going down hill for the Umbar when Aragorn burned down the umbar fleet and there leader and they did not recovery from that even during the war of the ring

Oh yeah I remember reading that, Aragon disguised himself under a different name and took charge of Gondors navy. He completely decimated the Umbar fleet.
In this timeline Umbar suffered many more losses and the Gondor fleet is largely intact, if Aragon does his gambit again he could take Umbar out of the war even before the final battle.
This raid was a massive failure and the main leder Prince Eadur-Castamir Bedroog go away, he might face a civil war once he gets home
And with the Umbar fleet having massive loses, the same with the army and the Gondors navy only losing a 1 or 2 ships and some of the other ships damaged, if they repair the the ships and most of there army is ok as far as i know, Gondor could maybe do a attack on Umbar now that they are weak
Can we stop discussing the economics of a state for wich we have next to notting in the regards of info?
Also we have no idea how many haradim and esterlings exsist.
Sure umbar is in the shitter now, if they do the same stuff in 10 years is five turns, is notthing to us.
Gotta agree. Most of the Umbar troops who died were the Corsair Savages and archers.
I doubt Umbar pays those guys in anything but plunder or bothers to truly train or equip them.
The bigger loss are the Castamir legion and Marines, since those are standing formations of well trained soldiers.
However, the largest loss they incurred was in ships. Umbar is a fairly barren desert region akin to North Africa. They need to steal or import the kind of timber used in ship construction, so replacing shipping is an expensive and time-consuming task.
A follow-up raid on their ports by Gondor to damage their fleet and ship building yards will see them knocked out of action for at least a generation, if not longer.
if the Castamir legion, Marines and Naru n'Aru Royal Guard are Black Númenóreans, then the dead of them is gonna speed up the dead of there race as they been on decline since Last Alliance of Elves and Men won there war

Only the Naru n'Aru would accurately be described as Numenorean. They are from the kings men heartlands much further south, in the former Numenoreans colonies to the south. For the castamir legion and marines they call themselves that, but are from the usual diluted stock of Umbar (pretty much a mirror of Gondor), this effect only magnified after Aragons attack sacking the haven.
For the fall of the black Numenoreans, that can be more heavily tied to the Gondorian civil war/kinstrife. As many black Numenoreans lived in Gondor particularly in southern Gondor (Harondor, Umbar, the south lands), so we're effected heavily by those wars, and the plague Sauron sent out.
Don't get me wrong they have been declining since they properly tied themselves to Sauron at the end of the second age; but this was what stopped them from biggypacking off Gondor.
For the armies of Spain, and their adeptness to use for a fictional people that bears pretty much no similarity with them sans a tan and their ships; no this less in pop won't crush them. The loss of the ships will.

The ship loss was acknowledged as a big deal. But the manpower loss?
Its a drop in the bucket. He described Umbar as having a city with a million+ inhabitants.
Those commonfolk are not involved in agriculture, so their loss is not impeding Umbar's ability to feed its populace. Umbar actually appears to have a general manpower surplus with war as a release valve for their young, poor urban male populace to go out and find wealth and glory in a bid to improve their social position.
