The "what have we done with the pilots" one:
I think it could have the opposite effect. The music seems to be Asuka's way of venting her frustration, something she uses to redirect her anger. I think it's best to not touch that for now.I wonder if adding something soothing and gentle to Asuka's playlist would calm her down a bit.
Asuka blaring Rammstein's Engel until Rei snapsYou don't consider yourself an expert on Asuka's psychology, but the Rammstein and Nirvana blasting in her bedroom at all hours of the day leaves very little room for interpretation about her current emotional state.
I'm not sure Rei wants us to address it. We need to get her onboard first. We haven't addressed the "Rei is half-Angel" issue yet, have we?
Sometimes when you're feeling down, you play upbeat music to try and lift you up. But sometimes, you play MCR or Fallout Boy or that one Tokyo Ghoul song, music that feels what you're feeling.I wonder if adding something soothing and gentle to Asuka's playlist would calm her down a bit.
We can hear her music in the other apartment,* and Asuka isn't deaf. If she has headphones, she hasn't told Misato about them.
Unless she secretly performs headbanging dance, I'd say it's more of a one-way street when the music feeds her mood. It's a scientific fact that music affects dopamine and serotonin levels, and relaxing music is used effectively as a stress-management tool. Worth trying I think.I think it could have the opposite effect. The music seems to be Asuka's way of venting her frustration, something she uses to redirect her anger. I think it's best to not touch that for now.
That was my way of saying that she should use headphones instead of bothering her roommates. Maybe gifting her a pair would be a good opportunity to inject some calming pieces into that metalhead playlist too.We can hear her music in the other apartment,* and Asuka isn't deaf. You mean literally naming some calming pieces? I probably could do that, but I'm not sure it's the appropriate level of detail for this quest. If we had a really good suggestion, I'd support it—it could become something Asuka and Misato have in common. But this is too vague.

Just a reminder that the pilots' movements are heavily restricted right now!Try to find somewhere in this city each of them would like to visit; maybe take Asuka shopping, Rei to an art gallery, Shinji to a music shop and Hikari on a "looking for date spots" tour?

[χ] Special Activity: Spend some one-on-one time with each of the kids in a non-stressful, non-drama way. This is reassuring... Somewhat... I suppose...He's not your only source of stress. Far from it. If anything, working with him is one of the easier parts of your extremely complicated life.
Poor, ignorant Misato. That does not strike you as someone who has their life figured out.
Then Asuka should be grateful to Rei. She solved one of her biggest problems.Who knew the best treatment for getting your arm viciously ripped off by the target was to get your neck cruelly broken by your own teammates? Asuka says while glaring at Rei, who ignores her.
Unfortunately not. Rei makes it difficult. We haven't addressed the "Rei is half-Angel" issue yet, have we?
Bothering her roommates is the point. That was my way of saying that she should use headphones instead of bothering her roommates.
We had Call of Cthulhu RPG session with Kensuke as GM once, but I do not think this idea will fly now.I'd suggest trying to find a cooperative board game for them to play as a group activity. Structured interaction that is positive and not competitive.
This is where I notice that Reiner Knizia's Lord of the Rings board game is a 2000 releaseI'd suggest trying to find a cooperative board game for them to play as a group activity.
[χ] Special Activity: Spa day! Hopefully the apartment is still intact when you get back.My only real opinion is the special activity should include each of the pilots and not leave any of them out. (Or, I guess hypothetically, involves none of them and is a Misato thing)
