Reds! A Revolutionary Timeline

Voted best in category in the Users' Choice awards.
Universe would also influence 1970's Of Men and Gods, a Bengali story of space exploration featuring ancient aliens posing as gods and monsters beyond human comprehension.
Here I have many questions - but here is the most noticeable objection. In India, the influence of religious organizations is very strong - especially "Hindu". Renting a film with an anti-Vedic message, or too "free" interpretation will cause a huge scandal, and the likelihood of a positive outcome is unlikely. And no - keeping Pakistan and Bangladesh in the composition will not save - but will only add crowds of angry "pagans" to the crowds of angry Muslims. So here we need a very strong alternative to look at this through our fingers.

Indian nationalism is based on a more secular idea of a multicultural India rather than on religion.

As for why...you'll see.

Greetings to all.

  1. I would like to get an overview of the post Second World War/Great Revolutionary War to present day technology, both military — primarily — and civilian, from Reds! A Revolutionary Timeline, in order to know which are its differences and similarities with OTL; specially with regard to the following main powers from ATL: a) Franco-British Union; b) United Republics; c) Soviet Union; d) China; e) Panamerican Union; f) India; g) Australasia; h) Palestine; and, i) North and South Italy.
  2. And, how many postwar (WWII/Great Revolutionary War) Spains are in the current iteration of Reds! A Revolutionary Timeline? And, how does its (their) flag (s) look like?
BTW, looking forward for the next update.

I can only answer the second question. There's just the one Spain. It's to the AFS what Yugoslavia was to the communist sphere.

@Spartakrod said that keeping the POD of the first version of the TL (McKinley never being assassinated) without a corresponding strengthening of the socialist movement would lead to America plunging into fascism. That makes me curious as to what would happen if the initial POD from this version (Social Democracy of America folding into the Socialist Labor Party) remains but McKinley is still assassinated as in OTL.

The fact that Teddy Roosevelt never became POTUS in this timeline has slightly larger ramifications than the SDA folding into the SLP. What you suggest would probably result in something similar to OTL, only with a slightly stronger socialist foothold on American politics.

I could see America having a communist party that peaks as high as the big western European ones but too normalized and hollowed out by then to do anything with it, then steady decline into minor third party status over the cold war as it gets more and more isolated.

"So my partner and I like to roleplay as capitalists sometimes. Does that cross the bounds of sane in 'safe, sane and consensual?'"

(I'd apologize, but... nah.)

Factory boss-worker kink?
Office stuff seems like a given.
AFS-COMINTERN Spy kink maybe?
Those sound pretty close to what I was thinking, along with others such as Cap/Com Findom (Capitalist/Communist Financial Domination) and perhaps couples and groups roleplaying as historical figures, genderswapping as needed: For example, General Donna MacArthur using all forms of erotic persuasion to force Wilma Foster into embracing the bourgeois decadence of the Old Republic.
