You close your eyes, and take a deep breath. After a long moment, you finally exhale.
"Since today's gonna be... Big, we should probably fall back to Grandma's." You answer, already turning around, "We'll need a ride there, anyhow."
Kohaku nods before following you. "I'd rather like to avoid being out in the open today, y'know?"
"You know, I'm really glad I don't." Shoji answers, catching up to you, "I don't think I could handle that kind of pressure..."

The area around you fades away, and is replaced by darkness. You pass everyone their weapons as quickly as you can, and as Kohaku takes hold of her mace, you hear a voice from... Everywhere.
"Human of red." The male voice declares, "You have been chosen." Your ambusher finally reveals himself as...?
The upper half of his body reminds you of a Greek sculpture, especially his helm, and he holds a dagger in his hand. His lower half, however, is almost like a boulder, marked with astrological symbols that don't really mean anything to you.
"I am known as Mithras, deity of the sun." Mithras reveals to you, "You are quite an intriguing specimen, indeed. You will assist me in one of your rituals, so that I may better understand the world I have returned to."
"What kind of ritual...?" Shoji hazards, gripping his sword.
Mithras smiles, "A ritual that has endured many generations, and people all across your world race to partake in, of course! One that shall test your limits, both mental and physical!" As he opens his arms, a blinding light fills the room! "Ladies and gentlemen, it is time to play...!"
The lights finally relent, and...?
"WHEEL! OF! FORTUNE!" The demon audience cheers as the stage is revealed around you.
You blink. "What."
"Our first contestant, of course, is this red girl here!" Mithras explains to the live studio audience, "Next up, Eris's disciple herself, Victoria Walters!"
Victoria locks eyes with you instantly. In the corner of your eye, you catch a glimpse of Eris. "Do play nice." She commands.
"And finally, hailing from the Stream of Life, the lady Anahita herself!"
You glance one spot over from Victoria, and see a demon woman with an ivory complexion, and flowing blue... Hair. You think.
"Must I play along with your little rite?" Anahita shakes her head, "I have other matters to attend to."
"Yes." Mithras states plainly, "Now then, we shall commence with the first round!"
The board behind Mithras lights up, revealing...
"What the f...?" Shoji mutters.
