I don't participate in quests to not become the micro-managing gaslighting middle manager I despise IRL. Allow me to live vicariously through fictional characters, please. :V

I think this is the best I have ever seen us roll.

I like a lot of these options, but I think we should consider taking the "The Spider's Web" personal action when making plans. We are gonna want to do that regardless, and it's cheaper then losing a hero for a turn.

Laying the Groundwork
I see, then I kind of want to swap that out for a 5 pointer + 2x 1AP missions, but we really need to do the
N U M B E R
C R U N C H I N G
to see if either variant will break our thresholds for the future?

Kind of want to just delay this decision until we know our final stats for the next Issue :/

Access to the Zenith as a base—+1 AP, +1 Global AP
What's the diff between AP and Global AP anyway? (We can probably eat 1 or 2 Missions with the extra benefits we wouldn't have without this plan and be mostly fine; although losing a Hero for the next Issue sucks)

[X] Plan: Loan With Interest
-[X] Inform Wolong of Project Prometheus. 15 points.
-[X] Facilitate a purchase of one of Mendicants Symbiotes to heal Arc. (Justice Unlimited will not be able to purchase symbiotes from Mendicant for two issues, New Dawn will provide the funds). 7 points.
-[X] Offer Black Swan's one-time assistance with patrols in the Uni District (Black Swan will not be available for one mission next issue). 5 points.
-[X] Offer Handyman's one-time assistance with patrols in the Uni District (Handyman will not be available for one mission next issue). 3 points.
-[X] Commit to finishing mission "Grand Theft Person". (Must finish mission in three issues, not counting current issue. Mission will cost 1 AP.) 1 point.

I think that we should be more willing to spend our short-term resource, time, over long-term resources like raw stats. We're already going to get more AP from this deal, the least we can do with it is help them out. And I do genuinely think that the patrols might be good for our rookie heroes. It'll help them get used to working with New Dawn heroes on future missions.

Also, "Grand Theft Person" is probably going to be Third Person and I'm interested in them just by name.

I was honestly considering doing spider web on a villain for Leizi's next personal action anyways, so I'm fine with grabbing that. Anyways, I'm currently working out the pro's and con's of @ReaperofInterest 's plan, and how I feel about that Apiary option (which is the one I'm torn of the most)

Have you done the calcs as to whether that will tank our Stats below the thresholds of the Missions that we need to get cracking on next Turn though?
Having (global?) AP is only useful when we ...have the Stats to actually take the relevant Missions, and it was mentioned that Stat Checks will be going up in the future anyway

You can still use their stats when taking missions. You just can't bring anyone patrolling with you on at least one mission (you'll pick).

Let them handle their own matters and keep the (now ours) backyard from catching fire, while we go do other things?

Double Edit: I misread One Mission as One Issue, but people apparently still want it so

If Handyman is somehow still under the radar we should keep him that way; commit Leizi's Personal Action + one other mission since we want to do that anyhow?

TBH I expected those 3 mission to be mandatory, so finding out it's optional was a pleasant surprise. That said, I'm still fine with grabbing a few, since they're not too big of an impedement

So @Bitterman just to clarify, next issue is like next turn, yes? Also for one time assists, if we select more than one, would they be gone together for that one mission, or would they be gone separately? (Like one hero is available for us in one mission but not in the other)

"Aww, thankies! And this tea is great."

" . . . why did New Dawn let Le Petit Prince kill my mom?"

The room goes dead silent. You could hear a pin drop. You're not the only one looking at Menagerie Witch in shock.
God damn, even I felt my eyes widen at that. Maddie just dropped a bomb on Wolong.

That said, I really don't want to loan Black Swan. She's our heaviest hitter, and we don't have anyone that can fill her role at all. Handyman we can loan since Lady Leizi has his niche for espionage covered, but not if we want to do Spider's Web.

At most, I'd be willing to loan Maddie. It hurts our OPERATIONS, sure, but I think letting her work with New Dawn and helping stop Wonderland from making more victims like her will do Maddia and New Dawn a lot of emotional good.

Issue is my cutesy way of saying turn because . . . comics.

They would patrol of different missions. You can only send one hero on patrol at a time.

[X] Plan: Intrigue Specialisation

Yeh I like this plan we just need to pick either a mission that doesnt need Hit or something that we can handle without Mona.

It also publicizes our alliance by Lending them not only our Heavy Hitter but someone with High Rep at that.

Anyway, can I just say that I am so goddamn relieved that Wolong is genuinely nice and well-meaning? It's good that we'll be able to put this water under the bridge and become friends with our former bosses once again.

Anyway, we know Wolong's power. Super analysis, extending to a form of information-based pseudo-precognition.

Miss Naught's a Green Arrow type, duh, she's an archer.

Fusilade, given the name, probably has some form of defensive power.

Gentleman James, don't have a lock on what he does. And we haven't met Dreamcatcher, though we know that of the five, four are combat capable and I'd assume Wolong is the one that isn't.

There was a trap involved in the meeting... and she ended up being the unwitting courier for it.
You know, if someone didn't know any better about what our voting thought process was like at the time, this looks scarily identical to Lady Leizi planning and executing a masterful power grab. Bringing Maddie who naturally wanted to take New Dawn to task over the current state of things, breaking down Wolong and then following up with the classic "we already know everything" to get him to spill the remaining parts of his guts. Then throwing the magnanimous life raft from her position of strength to consolidate the organizations.

The gloriously unplanned plan.
