The other part was her role on the team. As a hatchet woman she likely didn't practice being personable or giving rousing speeches much as opposed to threatening organizations or using leverage against them. I would wager she definitely does have loyal parasocial fans on the net though :V
Lady Leizi has cornered the "I can fix her/she can make me worse" market for Justice Unlimited fans. :V

While waiting in between updates I wrote up an omake backstory for one of my candidates

I forgot to reply to this! Great job, probably darker than where this story will go but that's the joy of omake. Have a +1!

...She looks like she should be in Street Fighter as Chun-Li's cousin. This is a compliment, btw.

Lady Leizi has a very specific fighting game inspiration, but it's not from Street Fighter haha.

That's exactly it. Not many knew of her publicly, and those who did knew her as the "scary ex-criminal."

Mendicant may have been quoting some popular memes when they saw her!

That's Rhys's job, anyways. :V

Also, while I wasn't here to comment, great job @BKNK.SHOP! I'd commission you or buy something since you're such a great artist, but, uh…

(One day I will have manga-style art for my quests. If I keep on saying this and coping, one day it will manifest. One day.)

Honestly, what *are* BKNK.Shop's prices? I might have work for them in the future if it won't break my back for a single character.

Hmm, that's... Better than some of the options I've seen on the table, I'll have to keep that in mind for when I've got some disposable income again.

But of course, that means he could still get a suite if he absorbed different emotions from different people, one would assume. And if he absorbed the same emotion from different people, that one power got stronger with each person.

And to just clarify: If we gave someone an injection that consisted of only one DNA sample, it wouldn't necessarily be a 1-to-1 copy of that single sample's abilities, there would be some variation even ignoring the side effect roll.

For a second I was gonna retort with "Hey, what if we get a recruit with a 1 or 0 tolerance, it might be necessary then" but then I remembered, "oh, right, -3 we get."

If we smash together four 1 potency samples (one for each stat), we might just get a normal guy who's superpower is being really good at adulting, dealing with responsibility, basic self defense, and dealing with feelings. (Which might be OP, ngl.)

I do really wanna do Tiger's Eye because Clairvoyance x 3 feels like it'd do something strong for operations and espionage.
It looks like Operations apart from powers that give Direct boost to int and tech are about being able to give us new options in plans.

MW: Minions means strenght numbers and riding large animals for transport is at play.
Handyman: Forms that give advantage in strategy, like working as body double.

Tiger Eye
-Should give Teleportation
-And better clairvoyance for both teleport and marking
-So definately seems like a balance of Espionage and Operations.

Unfortunately we cant use that for John since even if buff his tolerance next turn id still just be 6Tolerance.
Honestly Bulwarks ally empowerment might be the most direct at being an Operation boost skill.
Though Thinking about it going for a Fundamental Force with Ally Empowerment would be a great boon for making sure our heroes dont die.
Might even be something for us to ask wulong on what synergy works with ally empowerment.

Though hmm Nox+Bulwark could work for Devoring enemy emotions and buffing allies, pretty pricy and might not be worth it though.

Yup. Just a few new DNA samples and our combo options have basically skyrocketed. We really meed to get more candidates soon, the shere amount of possibilities we have at the moment is staggering, and its only going to keep growing. Actually are the Ambrosia turns 1 person per turn or can we do more than 1 at the time as long as we have the neccesary funds/ambrosia required? Or do we need to get some upgrades before we can do multiple at a time?

It's only ever going to be one per turn if only to avoid character bloat. At some point Justice Unlimited is going to get too huge to do everyone justice (ha!) some some characters and missions will be short-changed.

You could always have us start forming sub-teams when we pass 6, 7 heroes or so. Would prevent the writing problems of having 7 guys in one fight all needing to contribute in some way.

I think that's the plan. Missions will also have limited slots for heroes at some point as well as missions that will occur simultaneously in different parts of the city. I'm still fine-tuning the plan.

Hmmm... different squads for different missions, and you can write that teams pov for that turn. Still true, havimg to many characters can bloat the story, and I definitly dont want to see a character death till idk turn 10? Preferably never, but we necer know what can happen...
But on the topic of squads, how would we divide them I wonder.
Team A is the Face of the organization, showy, powerful and reassuring. What people think when they hear the name Global Justice.
Black Swan can be here.
Team B or Blackout: Stealth, hidden operations and infiltration. People with info or stealth powers can go here. Lady Leizi and Handyman can go here.
Team C- Crowd comtrol or Scouting, people capable of gathering imfo without gettimg in damger or are capable of dealimg with multiple enemies. Menagerie Witch can work here.
Team D- IDK we need more heroes, but a Elemental focus team that can help with disasters could work, fire, floods etc.
Team E- Electricians or tech support- Put the eggheads, artificers, amd tech users here and lets see how long till someone causes mad science.

But honestly, you'r quest you'r rules. And Im homestly enyoing every word of it.

Thank you! I'm tempted to use it on Hiver's mission even though someone already applied a +1 since heaven knows we'll need it against Scarlet Maturity. Though I'm also curious how long the bonus could be saved up for. If it's only for the turn it definitely goes to saving Hiver.

Also will the omake be threadmarked in apocrypha or is that only for mostly canonical ones?

You saw nothing.

And the +1 can be applied whenever!
