Considering Marie Marionette's powers as a hydrokinetic involves bloodbending, Elemental Manipulation definitely has some play here. That's not to say Biokinesis is completely out tho.
True and Algernon powers are probably one of the hardest to notice powers until its user can consciossly control it. Plus they might not know Ellie actual age and think shes either serve as a student to VS until she was 20 or young enough to slowly awaken her power.
