Don't we have to take the Third Person and Shroud missions before too long ? Because we promised Wolong.
Yes, we need to take both Shroud and Third Person within the next two turns. But with Puella, Reality Check, Fire, R-Train, and Pest Control basically hard locked in we end up in an awkward spot.

Namely we only have 1 AP more guaranteed and those first two missions are likely exceptionally dangerous. Where we will need to balance mission dangers vs getting ahead on tempo, especially with the Fellowship mission waiting in the wings.

Yeah, not taking Shutdown as one of the powers is building up to be a mistake that neuters whatever victory we got significantly, since the winning option seems like it wasn't enough to ensure Social Butterfly is removed from the board.
Other way around. With Shutdown, you wouldn't have had the juice to [REDACTED].
OK. I now have enough (some) time to go through the chapter in depth.
I always appreciate these! I know the vote at the end tends to get the most focus, so It's nice to see folks like the smaller bits too.
I think it's been confirmed that it doesn't work on Valiant Kabuto because of his sapience or something. Quick Gorilla maybe.
Now, I never said that . . .

It's really funny seeing the QM openly go, "CAT was a really, really good option" and having people come in and go, "Man, that CAT option really boned us by not being that good."

There was a point after the QM all but said the CAT option was the best around--after it was decisively winning, so it didn't influence the vote in any meaningful way--and you still had a person or two show up to vote the Shutdown Variant. :V

I'll admit to be being wrong. I had thought that Shutdown would be a better choice than Justicar, but if the QM says otherwise, I won't argue. If nothing else, seeing how exactly I was wrong ought to be informative.

So Bitterman said that CAT was crazy because of Justiciar, which he himself didn't anticipate. And people still wanted Shutdown because… uh, it does something that Justiciar can't? Even though Justiciar's addition to the mix REALLY helped apparently?

Whatever, looks like something definitely worked.

People are mostly just annoyed we got the worst D4 result and are trying to reason out a way we could have dodged it. We could not have, other than getting luckier.

Nkw Im wondering what the Heck happened?
CAT (thanks to Justiciar) apperently help with something that having shutdown wouldnt have.
Well at least we can safely say Eidolon surpassed Faustian by leaps and bounds (i say by a factor of at least 2).
...Now what fresh hell is the next issues climax going to be?

If I am reading this through the haze right, Perhaps, in hindsight, someone who draws their power from animals would get a nice beefy theoretical boost by using creatures suitably beefed up by a mad geneticist, especially when they are capable of boosting said animals to levels that they are not typically capable of.

A team attack of a Valiant Bug Faced Rider and Valiant Kaiju will surely be completely fine and have no consequences for anyone.

The logic initially was 'Justiciar would counter Justiciar', which made sense even before the vote closed and we learned she had True Telepathy...

But honestly, I think a good number of people were having trouble realizing that the three metahuman powers we chose would combine into a single powerset ala Prometheus. I have to wonder if that influenced the decision to go for Justiciar...

Still! Narratively speaking it was also a good move that made sense, even if some people were motivated by spite towards Silvio, I think.

(Putting mad libs words together blindly) Mona... and Ellie... need to suplex... the Frozen Throne... which is making out with... Yellow Qilin.

Imagine a Maddie with a gorilla and Valiant Kabuto in her menagerie...

Now granted, we don't have the space to do the Quick Gorilla mission here but we can take control of OID this turn and get on the road to having a Kabuto ally for Maddie.

Edit:
Why the fuck did my mind Immediatly jump to that!?
...Im going to go play ML: Brothership. I need RPG cartoon violence.

Something something only way to fight a bad American with a superpower is a good non-American also using the bad American's superpower as a base.
