Misspelled bodyguard.

I don't think Doctor Silver needs a shield generator when he can make shields for himself.
Made the spelling correction. As for Doctor Silver, it's an emergency measure like the other shield generators. At the start of each conflict, he can only make 3 hit levels' worth of barriers after all. He might need to use up all 3 on others, so giving him a generator will be useful for if he needs to make any unexpected changes or gets attacked while his barriars are deployed.

Less sure on the rest of the distribution currently but a recruitment pitch is going to come off horrifically considering her situation. An extraction operation could work but frankly even if we can convince them of the veracity of it all due to being smarter than Socialite Butterfly clones, I don't think its getting off on the right foot. We need trust from her first and foremost long term, and this seems important for the best longer term path.

The GM has been hyping this shit like crazy and saying we need everything we have to succeed so I'm going to be a little bit cruel and priotize the mission here.

No time to waste. The VIP is in severe danger and she needs to get out of there ASAP.

Team building can come later after we save her from the clone army that's been stalking her and her bodyguard for months now. She'll appreciate us getting rid of this source of grief.

This child needs literally any semblance of normalcy right now, and her sister was our friend. Let's start off calm and then get her out of here.

Guys, we have John. Unless Socialite copied goddamn Memoria, the entire team should have time to gear up no matter who we pick.

Let's see... Rhys has nearly died twice now, but the healing symbiote probably doesn't work on him, Menagerie Witch is basically always on the backlines, Doctor Silver and Chatelet have barriers, Valiant Gold has two inherent barriers and a lot of tricks, Mona is invincible... and that just leaves Lady Leizi, who also consistently gets injured because she's a squishy frontline fighter, and our leader. I don't think Socialite Butterfly is gonna want Yara dead? So I say we give the healing symbiote to our esteemed leader.

[X] Plan: Protagonist Immunity
-[X] Give a shield generator to Menagerie Witch, Handyman, and Doctor Silver, and gift one to Belle Sabreuse. Give the healing symbiote to Lady Leizi.

...Maybe LL can dramatically tank a death-blow for Belle Sabreuse's or Yara's sake mid-fight? And...

While I'm tempted by Extraction, Yara definitely needs to trust us, and I feel like any rash moves might end up drawing a lot of attention anyway. Bitterman suggested Stockpile might be present here anyway, so we shouldn't give him any excuse to start slandering us and telling Yara to go with him.

Yeah its probably for the best to not stress our target or tip off our enemies immediatly... also buolding rapport will probably look better.

We thought Mona was denser (as in Black Hole dense, but also by being Mona), but Ellie is not that far away tbf
There's a joke somewhere about neither of them being thicc enough to be that thick, or thick in the head but not where it would be helpful/beneficial...but I'm not the right person to make it--I took literal months to realize the woman who would become my wife was interested in me.

I mean, there isn't really an option for "go in as a regular friend and expect things to go sideways and backwards and upside-down and pack accordingly", so "approach like a lunch" it is.

Um quick question... Shoud that be a "or Yara"? Because we have only 4 shield generators. If we give one to MW Handyman and DS, that would only leave us with one. So its either Sabreuse or Yara, not both.

Cenotaph (AP 1, REPUTATION 3, OPERATIONS 2): You've had your private ceremony, but your team was beloved by many in the city. You owe it to them to let them mourn too. You owe it to your team. You owe it to yourself. Have a public ceremony to honor the fallen members of Justice Unlimited.
Lady Leizi: No public ceremony has been held in honor of those who fell in the QZ . . . or for Justice Unlimited's former members. The closest was that debacle at Christmas, and that self-indulgent insult cannot stand as the only memorial to those who actually gave their lives to protect Horizon. It would draw a clear distinction between Crusade and ourselves—namely that we actually served in the QZ—and it would give us an excellent opportunity to scout for potential candidates for Project Prometheus without arousing suspicion.
(Chance of permanent global +1 to REPUTATION, Recruit 2 to 4 low and medium tolerance candidates, Encounter with Crusade)
Did we ever get this, or was it in that roll we failed ?

[X] Approach like a recruitment pitch.

[X] Plan: Basics
-[X] Give a shield generator to Menagerie Witch, Lady Leizi, Doctor Silver, and have Lady Leizi hold onto the fourth shield generator and symbiote to give to Yara and/or her bopdyguard if necessary.

You were lucky—you had a handful of loyal subordinates and your shīfù to see you through the rocky times.
Do we know who LL's shīfù is/was?

Reports abound of the metahumans in Monarch's employ displaying previously-undisplayed abilities. Her forces also seem to be enhanced.
So my main theory is still that it's Princess somehow, but Petit Prince being empowered doesnt quite make sense with that. Now that we know power boosting infrastructure is possible, I'm wondering if Wonderland as a whole was set up similarly to what we're theorising about Elysium to boost the powers of everyone inside.

It's tragic that Vulcan died before Rhys got the power to do a full cartoon wolf eye popping jaw dropping tongue unfurls like a red carpet Awooooooga :(

Princess could have boosted him in Wonderland before Monarch adopted her, or as part of some deal in there…

When we see a source of power boosts in Wonderland, I'd be surprised if there was also a second source that only applied to one metahuman.

@Bitterman how badly would we have had to have done for Chihiro to not join us? It feels like this was probably the straw that broke the camel's back for her.
