Part of why Rhys passes is cause he's relatively unknown to the public at large. He's former US spy who turned so he's not suppose to be all that well known which fits into our culture excuse.

The bigger problem comes with John Henry, who's actually more known and would make Crusade and the Philosophers squint their eyes at that detail.

That's kind of why I wanted to give him a more subtle power? We still have more candidates on the way.

i do ultimately feel like a lot of powerset theorycrafting inherently involves the powers transferring over vertabim, when Bitterman has been very fluid about interpretation and connections

elements can shift and change, and how a power expresses might vary

one of the reasons that I'm saving my super psychic plan (Hunch, Chatroom, Wild Speaker, Eastwood, Miss Conception) is that each block has a focus, but I'm not beholden to any part of it. Hunch provides investigative qualities. Chatroom and Wildspeaker, information support. Eastwood, an attack vector. Miss Conception, a deception vector. Even if none of it lucks into a Telepathy or Telekinesis or whatever combo, it still leads to a well-rounded, mind-focused set, which, at 13 potency, means that Yara would be able to snoop around, deceive, provide support and attack in roughly equal measures, but I'm not giving a Solid Plan that Bitterman will probably deviate from.

There's no cover story since no one knows Handyman's face. He's way too good at shapeshifting for him to be properly IDed.

If we absolutely have to, though, then a fake identity would be ridiculously easy to make between his powers and Lady Leizi's spy network forging documents. Far as Powers know, he's a waiter in Balthazaar, though, I'm sure they already know that said waiter never existed and has no paper trail.
Nah when Rhys was in dinner with 4S he took a workers identity by bribing someoneelse not to show up. The identity he had as worker in balthazar was never revealed to powers.

Honestly Scorpion with Wulong answer to what we need for a priper psychcic synergy. I feel like we should just wait until we get all the clues we need to make a proper paychci.

While for Yara just make her functionally unkillabe since we cant risk her shares going to her dad. I know you said the clones attack made her distrustful but is that beacuse she cant bring herself to trust others or because shes too weak to risk trusting others easily?

A power that makes her unkillable could give her the confidence needed to trust others.

For the sake

Yara I want for afull inttelligence lie checker

Oh yeah speaking of Zeno, one option to add to the post potentially Arcus.

Plan Whitebeard Pirates
Zeno + Antaneus + Millions - Potency 3 = Potency 10
(2x all) Invuln, Energy Manipulation, (1x) Space Time Manipulation

Build Goal: Ultimate battlefield control between Space Time Manipulation and Antaneus' earthquakes. Millions and Antaneus are for offensive prowess to make up for the issue Zeno had, Millions and Zeno are used to prevent anyone from getting close and using the manipulation to send people into the mines potentially. It also would pair very well with Black Swan, someone mounted on a Nevermore, or any other flier teammates like an Automne or Crimson Soprano build due to being able to fly over the earthquakes, so it would help work in some teams very well once we reach that point. There is also the chance of being able to literally fracture space if we really wanna have fun with it.

But more than anything, I want to show the grandeur of making a mini Whitebeard powerset. :V

Honestly a great build. Keeps Zenos Invulnerability while giving him the offensive attacks he needed.

only if we get the power to fracture space

Minor, comedic question: Did Nora ever rule out that Yazmin's computer/tech problems were the result of water from her power getting into sockets and short-circuiting stuff?

This is not a current John Plan, it's just a thought experiment:

Promare (because... of course)

Deadman (5) + Frostbite (3) + Daggermaw (1)

Elemental Manipulation x2
Enhanced Strength x2
Transformation x1
Enhanced Senses x1
Regeneration x1
Invulnerability x1

But Personally I feel like with Noelle being a Valiant its highly likely the 2 of them will simply never get along even if they can work together well enough in missions.
It just so happens that I love romantic dynamics between people who are attracted to each other but too different to make things work.
I do wonder what excuse we'll use for John Henry as to why he wasn't around at all despite being in the same league as people like Zeno Potency wise.
We make him wear a mask and a voice modifier. It's uncommon in the setting but not unheard of.
Far as Powers know, he's a waiter in Balthazaar, though, I'm sure they already know that said waiter never existed and has no paper trail.
Nah, he was impersonating a guy who is actually a regular waiter there and who we bribed to go home.

I'm still very attached to my Emotion Man build for our psychic, though now that we know the telekinesis synergy I'd probably replace Millions Minefield with Mister Hunch. The core of the build would still be there in the form of a highly versatile power that can be tailored to each situation while still providing support for its allies. It just feels like everything synergies really well.

I wonder what that failed Luck roll was for.

So far, it's been extra money per turn, Mona and Ellie getting along, and extra powers info.

Maybe we didn't get a shield generator this time.

it's crazy how no one ever talks about the frozen section of the grocery store. like if you lean in too far and the door closes on you you're just trapped and you have to STAY THERE until you can grab another shopper to take your place?? and we all just act like that's normal?? I missed two weeks of eighth grade because I was stuck living in the frozen breakfast food section at fucking Walmart and I'm literally just supposed to be fine with that. hello???

The frozen throne gets a job
