QM for 1 keyword powers like Steadfast & Mr hunch means the Hero gets a form of their power assured right?

Like how Mona getting Invulnerability from Steadfast was never in doubt.

Yeah, 1 keyword DNA profiles mean their powers auto-manifest.
Yeh in that case People wants a Defensive Power for more HP and I want a Teleport power for Bailouts.

So for John I think the below work.

Plan Defense and Movement

Memoria (4P) + Bulwark(4P) + Mr Hunch(1)- Reduction (3P)= 6P

Keywords

Clairvoyance X2
-5 Pictures that shows the present situation
-See the past of touched object up to 24 hours and 5 meters around it.

Teleport
-Transport yourself and anything you touch to pictured locations

Energy Manipulation
-Create Barriers to protect from attacks

Ally Empowerment
-Give other people Barriers, or grant them buff in form of your powers.

Ideal
Teleportation, Clairvoyance, Energy Manipulation, Ally Empowerment
-Grant yourself and Others a barrier to protect and ability teleport back to mark Items.

Alright this fight has been having people want Bulwark to Provide HP to our Heroes which is a solid Plan, but for both our current situation and future one especially rescuing yara is a Teleporter to get out asap when needed. So this plan is I think a good way to get both.

Memoria powers is centered in Teleportation so where most likely to get that with the only problem is that without clairvoyance the range will probably be reduced since memoria Clairvoyance did expand his range. Thats where Mr hunch comes in, letting John hopefully use Mr Hunchs power to see an item past as way to use Items as waypoints for teleportation.

For Bulwark Wed need to get lucky in getting both Energy Manipulation and ally empowerment, but unlike memoria the powers in him seems to be a balance of barriers and giving other barriers, so we can hopefully get both. But if not Energy Manipulation should give John a Barrier power, while Ally empowerment could give others the ability to teleport without needing John to be in contant with them unlike with memorias powers.

Mind new DNA from Cache and fights along with wulongs help could give us a better plan.

All one-keyword samples we have (and their Potency):

Hunch (Clairvoyance, 1)
Multiplex (Transformation, 1)
Millions Minefield (Energy Manipulation, 1)
Hydrocity (Elemental Manipulation, 1)
Steadfast (Invulnerability, 2)

That's only 6 Potency. We could slam that all together and guarantee all of those. In theory.

Side note, wouldn't Umibozu's "see through my water sentinel's eyes" be Clairvoyance instead of Enhanced Senses? Since she's, in essence, remote viewing rather than just, having good hearing.

John only has Tolerance 5, so you'll probably want to remove Mister Hunch from there. We could skip a turn to get him to Tolerance 6, but he'll miss out on his questline's 1st mission if we do.

Random curiosity since I joined after Mona's powerset had been set up-would you all (the other voters) ascribe us finding our two Synergies as having been luck, good planning, or intuition?

Wolong will help, but I'm also wondering if we can use these existing two ones as jumping-off points. Like, what if there are synergies that are close to each other, but differ by one, maybe two component powers? I'm thinking about what Rhys would have looked like if we had thrown Invulnerability into the mix or something.

I'm thinking we bring Gentleman James to the Magical Girls next turn. Of the three we met, he was the most polite and the most sociable, which I would assume translates to good Reputation score. If we assume that the magical girls are well meaning, just overzealous, we should be able to resolve things diplomatically, and he has a reasonably nonlethal power that would be good for restraining anyone overeager.

I could also see him for the Osayin mission and putting Failnaught or Pallisade on magical girl duty though.

We can only ask for ND help on 1 mission per issue right now since we havent merged orgs yet.
If we decide not to do hero worship next turn, Brining them to Puella does seem best, though there also the optics in that puella is about imposters with the biggest danger how Leizi info network around them is compromised.
Though I feel like working with them to take down The Shroud would be better since its both orgs working on taking down monarchs forces.

Yeah, that's the most concerning part. Someone with a comparable espionage ability or a straight up mental manipulation power has been busy there, and neither are good things.
Its why I feel like it might be best to have Black Swan on patrol while doing that. Though if we go with that I'm definately asking for ND help while doing that mission.
We can frame it as helping each other at the same time atleast. ND should be smart to understand were asking for help because they somehow managed to compromise our network more than them imposters.

Actually just checked, Magical Girls have no Reputation requirement. Disregard.
Hmm yeh Hit is probably fighting the MG's whos ether evil or controlled.
Espionage is finding them and what the fuck is happening to our network in the area.
Operations is just plans and tech there.

Considering no rep diplo is definately out of the question for some reason. Its how Who'sLeft Behind didnt have any rep requiremnt cause at the end of day there was no real talk between groups.

I feel like we'd be getting reports if they were like, actively doing bad things. Considering the description, it seems like they're doing a good job? It's just... why are they a cipher.

If they're taking contracts, they must not be screwing up any fights they get in, doing too much collateral damage or being jerks to the people paying them.

"Cipher" is a word that means "unknown" or "mystery".

All of those things in that exact order. But to be fair, luck feel way more important than it is because Bitterman gave us some good training wheels for them

We could have gotten Fundamental Force Manipulation as long we used either of our Starting 8P DNA's with Crimson Soprano. Though what form FFM would take when using Automne instead Novalight would be insteresting.

Looked up fundamental forces on the internet, and I can't really find any connection to aerokinetics besides electromagnetism? I say that because of it mentioning spinning, and kind of links to how the earth's rotation affects trade winds?

Heavenly Astrologian could control Inertia and she had FFM too.

So there might be more things that fall under FFM like vectors and hell maybe Full weather control falls under it too.

I can only really wait and see, because I can't tell if we're going to be in a state of open war with Dominion after this.
That would have happened if you hadn't done this mission. They should have murdered Hiver, pinned it on you, and used it as a pretext for all-out war.

That's how it's worked, but as things have evolved I'm gonna say maybe the keyword won't show up, but it will have a major impact on how the power manifests.

Hmm, I think it's a poor word choice on my part for what the sentinel's could do. It's more they provided feedback to Umibozu in a way that extended her hearing or peripheral vision than acted as spy cameras.

And there is the other consequence of not taking a mission... Man. If the consecuences were Goldnine destruction in the Uni district, villains becoming organized without reproach and all out war with Dominion, now Im worried what fresh hell us failing Stockpile will be... The they figure out Exceed Armor and make 3-5 copies is starting to see more reasonable... ah long time concecuences are just ffffuuuunnn. Actually lets take in the opposite direction and instead of copies they just make a giant ass Exceed Robot. Something like DC Amazo... or a Gundam.
....why does that feel like is completely possible in this universe....
