I haven't read ALL Webcomics that have ever existed. And the few I read (My Silly Life, My Dilly Gods [created by @simplysilly , ho look them up]) are either granular slice-of-life story with random magic elements, or retelling 1-to-1 of already existing myths.

He's talking about Dr. House from the show House M.D. I belive. I never saw much of it but from what little I remember he's a grumpy doc who's kept around by the hospital he works at because he's really good at his job and can easily figure out when someone is faking something or being an idiot about whatever's wrong with them.
