I know it's said the comics aren't really being looked at for Sonic stuff (so no Archie or Sonic The Comic), but what about IDW? It seems canon adjacent to the main games (one character, Tangle, originated from IDW and was mentioned by name in Sonic Frontiers).

Well this could be bad for us, hopefully for Archie it's before Penders or Eggman teaming up with Dr. Wily, as for IDW we can only hope it's either before or after the Metal Virus.

Well, that might get messy, partly since while Archie! Eggman is probably the most successful version of him, he's also pretty sadistic to the point other Eggmen would look at him and ask, "the hell is wrong with you?".
Fun fact, the Robotnik native to Archie actually died but was replaced by the Eggman of a world where he killed the Freedom Fighters. He was called Robo-Robotnik since he was a robot, but turned back to human. Well, overlander.
Archie lore do not get less confusing and complex from there, especially with the echidnas...

We could just find a place that has spaceships to use. Maybe we can buy out Planet Express from Futurama, for example. Then again, considering how things must be in New York, that might come with it's own hazards.
