So, after a relaxing bath (with some VERY HAPPY THOUGHTS about destroying that Blue PinCoushin) and drying yourself up, you are ready to go to bed.

"It's not looking good: while since the event there has been an increase in criminal activity, this is something else. There has been an increase in missing persons cases with no evidence of where they might have gone. When asked 'why', the New Orleans chief of police said that, at a certain point in the investigations, all traces of the missing persons vanished.

As the channel goes back to sports events, you shut it off for a moment. Apperently, there seems to be someone capable of controlling - at least in part - shadows to their bidding; and apparently, this relates to what most likely is a case of kidnapping.
Now.
You aren't someone who likes people, you'll admit that... but maybe it would be best to catch this potential threat. It doesn't matter if he goes to the authorities or if he decides to work for you - even if having control of such an individual would be... interesting -, the result would stay the same: If you intervene in any *somewhat* positive way, then you'll get more recognition. More recognition equals more power and money, and that means that YOU GET TO DESTROY THAT HEDGEHOG SOONER!!!

Ah, yes. Kira. A serial killer who wasn't caught in Japan for a whole decade, with a Kill Count in the thousands; you've heard about him before, even if off-handendly, when discussing budget with Stone.
Apparently, Light Yagami convinced himself that he was the God of the New World after finding a black notebook with unexplained powers: the Death Note. By writing names in it - and knowing what his victims truly look like -, he can cause heart attacks and control those killed, almost like puppets.
Note to self: either stay out of Japan until he's caught, or only go there if I know where he and his Death Note are hiding. That thing sounds useful.

Well, this is big news.
According to what S.H.I.E.L.D. is willing to tell the press, when the Nazi decedent Hydra tried to recruit from America's Neo-Nazi population, they apparently got infiltrated - and many of their America based cells were either captured or are running back to Europe.
On one hand, a bunch Nazi's were killed or arrested - which is always a good thing - ; but on the other hand, that's a potential group of idiots to take advantage of gone…. oh well, there's always more idiots - and better options - out there to exploit.
Other than that, not much caught your attention. You decided to jot down anything mildly interesting just in case:

Apparently, France has been sending aids to Ukraine in the forms of... drugs? It's a noble attempt, really, but the action was apparently not appreciated too much by the French people. This led to an armed revolution in France, which split the NATO forces even more.
In fact, one thing you noticed while surfing the channels, is the wave of revolutionary movements happening all across the World: in China, the Empress Absolute Hua Mulan denounced the former goverment's inhumane... everything , and now has a lot of angry Uyghurs siding with her in the Chinese Civil War. In Britain, the Crown managed to repell some undead-looking , Victorian-age dressed hunters who were trying to sacrifice children in the regions of London, Sussex and Cornwall.
[Religion]: In Greece, there was a rise in the Hellenistic Religion - which got recognized as a legitimate religion - once news spread that the Greek Gods from Greek Mythology were, in fact, amongst them. Same thing happened in Egypt and in the Scandinavian countries, altho to a lesser degree.
As for the Eastern world, it seems that both the Chinese and Shinto Pantheons are still around- altho, most of the news came from reports of Sun Wukong engaging in guerrilla warfare against multiple opponents in China.
[???]: One of the (perhaps) funniest bit of information that you witnessed, was the defeat of Sauron - the terrible sorcerer created by J.R.R. Tolkien - .... by the hands of a Black Mutant Sheep. No one knows how that was possible, but the invading Warlord got into a fight with said sheep while trying to lead his armies to conquer New Zealand. As one may expect, he was repelled. And now there is proof that , somewhere in New Zealand, there's a way to access the World that J.R.R. Tolkien created - the Middle Earth.
