Troll hunting is definitely a good teeth wetting job if we do any hiring after this especially if it does go up even higher, and after this seems like a decent time to do hiring.

Same here, just saying that we have time and shouldn't be in a rush. Like I want to spend no more than a year in Praag before we set out but I don't want to go there ASAP when we have a lot of stuff to do here. Like if we want to continue down the Tzeentchian infiltration plot line it would be wise to do the job with the Hearthguard to know more about the Cult and internal politics before we head to Praag where the false Saint likely has most of her influence.

I mean, in canon Kholek could only siege Praag until the Everchosen came so I doubt he can just come out of nowhere and just raze Praag when it only fell after months of siege and suffered the might of an army lead by an Everchosen.

Yeah, I'm thinking Streltsi. Decent all rounders that can handle themselves in melee while also able to shoot the crap out of any trolls we find. These guys would absolutely demand pay unlike our Swordmasters so we should keep that in mind, but we will be able to hunt more trolls with more people and the bounty is sure to be raised again.

Agreed. I really want to do the raid, then help the Dhaz priests. Not only is it banking on our good reputation with them and so a nice continuation of our last contract, but they're also dealing with Tzeentchian infiltration. We're experts cult hunters, so that's a match made in heaven.

One of the main reasons to take only disciplined troops was explicitly to reduce the risk of some getting distracted by looting and thus loose too much time. We indeed want t to minimise the time we stay in that town.

We're on a timer if we want to retrieve Aleksandr alive.

I think the Hearthblade offer will keep, and can give us some low-risk income while we recuperate after the raid.

I'd make a joke about "why not both" and say we bring the hearth blades with us, but I had to get up early for work training today, so don't have the energy to make it land right.
