Well, we learned how to track Witches. Also a degree of self control.

Not bad, I'd say.

Hitomi's Every Day Magical Girl Experience- Canon
It just occurred to me but... Shouldn't Hitomi have gotten to Madoka's at some point?

Hitomi's Every Day Magical Girl Experience

Hitomi blurred into existence behind the demonic Avian-Witch, deftly avoiding its spiked feathers as she slipped the curve base of her Axe-head around its neck and, with a mighty heave, cut right through the monsters head. The Witch let out a death shriek and its giant bird cage filled territory faded to nothing and left the green haired Magical Girl and blonde puppy-girl standing alone in the middle of a mountainous wooded area.

Yoko was covered in light scratched and her clothes were... torn, yes, very torn and the blonde girl seemed frustratingly unaware of that fact as she threw herself at Hitomi, knocking her to the ground. "You won! You won! You're the best Hitomi!" She cried.

"Ah... yes, thank you Yoko, though really it was nothing spe- wait, let me heal your cuts," Hitomi said hurried. Pushing the dog-eared girl off her and clutching her Soul gem softly, doing it hard 'hurt', she held it over Yoko's skin as the green light encompassed them both. Yoko sighed, practically melting into Hitomi's lap as the scratches she'd received at the Witches bird Familiars vanished. Sadly for Hitomi's blood pressure it did not repair her clothes.

As the green aura faded Yoko's tail began to wag faster and faster as her entire body vibrated with energy, and just like that she shot up and started jumping and cartwheeling around the forest clearing. "Woohoo, I feel sooo much better now! Thank you Nice-Girl Hitomi!"

Hiding her giggle behind her hand Hitomi smiled and answered, "Of course Yoko, it was no problem. Though maybe next time you shouldn't lead us on a chase through the whole city and pick a fight with some birds." Not that she minded fighting a Witch but she'd meant to go and see Madoka, apparently her friend had gotten Homura back and she'd been hoping to introduce the catgirl and puppygirl respective.

"Sorry," Yoko said, rolling to the ground she crossed her legs, ears down and looked up at Hitomi, "Those birds were mean though."

"I know, I know and we did a good thing by stopping them, people can now camp safely again," Hitomi said with some enthusiasm. Focussing her mind on her Soul Gem Hitomi tried to pull the energies of her uniform and suffusing her weapon back into it and in a brief flash of sparkling lime-green light she was back in her coat. Which she very quickly threw off and draped over Yoko's shoulders who happily bundled herself up in the soft white material.

Spinning on her heel Hitomi marched over to particularly decayed but of grass and scooped up a small, almost hollow except for a tiny black dot on the tip, piece of metal shaped vaguely like a hair clip. It seemed to hover impossibly, standing tall on the tip of her finger despite all rationale laws of gravity saying it should have been otherwise, and Hitomi knew her science having had her head buried in such books recently. Yoko hovered up next to her and resting her head on Hitomi's shoulder sniffed and cringed, "I don't like that, it smells scared and angry... Like the birds but worse."

"Hmm," Hitomi murmured, clutching the Grief Seed in her hand as some of the darkness bled from her Soul Geam into the Seed filling it with darkness until it was almost a third full. "Indeed, their mere existences beggars many questions, but I'll need to run some tests first. Oh and have you been keeping a nose out for Kyubey?"

"Yep, yep! The white thingy is out and about all over the city, but I can find it!"

"Good, please tell me if you think its getting close, won't you?"

"Of course! I can't protect you if I don't do that!" Yoko cheered, dragging Hitomi into another one of her crushing hugs and licking her cheek, sending a blush across Hitomis face and weakening her knees.

"Haha, all right then. Good girl Yoko, but we need to get going now. I suppose I will just have to introduce you to Madoka and the others later," Hitomi reasoned, clasping the puppygirls hand Hitomi slipped the Grief Seed into her pocket and turned to walk back to the city... and froze. "Um, Not to be a bother Yoko, but do you remember what path we took to get here? I could have sworn we could still see the city."

"Um, home disappeared while we were running I think, then everything got wobbly and bird monster woman showed up and I think we went further away... Is that bad, we are gonna have dinner right?" She asked, voice wavering as she leaned against Hitomi for support like her whole world was crumbling apart.

"Of course dear, it just might take a little while-"

"We're going to die!" Yoko wailed, collapsing to her knees and burying her face in Hitomi's skirt.

"We'll be fine, I promise, I just need to find where we are on my GPS and we'll be home soon," Htomi rushed to reassure as she fiddled with her mobile only to quietly baulk at her current location. 'Did we really run that far? Did I truly suffer from such terrible tunnel vision because Yoko was in trouble, or was it the Witch? No, that doesn't matter,' She decided shaking her head and pulling Yoko to her feet. Out loud she said in a tone of slightly strained resignation, "We will get home tonight Yoko, there's no need to worry... Wejust need to find a taxi, or perhaps a bus stop." She was not looking forward to trying to explain 'that' to her parents.

"Does this mean car ride?" Yoko asked, hopping on one foot to the next as she started to prance.

"Yes, Yoko, we'll be having a car ride, if we can find a road that is."

"Yipee, lets go, lets go!" Yoko cheered, grabbing Hitomi's wrist and dragging her along in her excitement.

Still, difficulty aside, Hitomi wouldn't trade what she had for her old life for even a second. With that thought in mind Hitomi ran through the wood at Yoko's side, grinning from ear to ear.

And that's another instalment of Hitomi's Everyday Life with Yoko, I hope it was fun, this entire piece is double or more the original expected length and was sort of written in a fit of random passion. Oh and on Yoko reacting about dinner, dogs tend to be creatures of habit and she's gotten into a nice groove at Hitomi's that's just been very disrupted, given her background, I feel her despair, however short lived would make sense.

Oh and please don't be shy about any critiques, comments or questions :D

'I came back, Pink Girl,' you cuddle up closer, 'Just like I said. Best Cat keeps her promises.'

Madoka pets you affectionately, and you relax at the nice strokes along your head.
...

You fell asleep!

You're back in the big empty space with lots of glowing lights!
It's all very sparkly.
Oh, oh, you see something pop! So you move in to see what popped.

It was a small ball, and a smaller ball with a little dent in it floats nearby.
New toys?

[] Write in...
