My explanation was muddled, My meaning was that if they are capable of modelling multinational scenarios to mirror the world in disasters. It would be a short step to take the illegal collection of personal data that Snowden leaked and feed it in to a micro-scale version of SWS to predict 'persons of interest' probable patterns of behavior to provide a 'Minority Report' style service...

The whole alphabet squad (NSA/CIA/FBI/DEA/ATF/ ETC) having access and acting on 'anonymous tips' from a Future Crime style database: rooting out drug dealer safe houses from cellphone GPS data from a pool of known dealers identifying points of commonality, and a myriad of other effective yet illegal uses.

You don't need literally the entire f*cking Internet , just those portions pertaining to 'JOE SUSPECT and known associates' your having trouble pinning down standard by the book investigations.

You start loading in filters such as name, location, SSN, the internet begins to be a much smaller and manageable data pool.

Hm. I think there might be some scaling issues (theories about the behavior of large groups don't always apply on the scale of individuals), but that makes more sense, especially since it seems like the simulation is supposed to work on smaller scales, at least to some extent. Not sure what form that takes, being a layman, and the document being fairly jargon-packed. It could involve simulating made up individuals, it could be actually taking in that kind of data, it could be a mixture of both, like mixing real data to make up brand new individuals. Garbage in, garbage out would still apply, and they'd have less ability to compare against the real-world if bias slips into the data before input, so the filters might be less effective. But I could still see what you describe as being a viable spin-off of the technology.

After all the inbound Mk.Zero Knightmare frames are an unfamiliar threat with capabilities unknown, and Atlanta is risking much on our behalf (their only K-scale protector).

[ ] have Davel positioned closer to Macon's defensive perimeter where he (just barely) has the support of Macon artillery (indirect fire rng 25/35/40) and count on the Rabbi's to reign in Davel's natural viscious streak.

[ ] let Davel / Rabbi Yosef handle the fight solo farther away...

We all know how fickle the dice are with this system, it bounces equally between critical successes and abysmal failures at RNG gods whims.

Pick an operational range and feel free to write up any special instructions. Voting and plan additions open until Saturday 6pm EST or until the bandwagon runs me over.

Never turn down support fire if you can help it. Even if Davel doesn't end up needing it, having the option to reliably shell something is always good.

I know there is a certain element of risk with this choice but @Smithsguild has already implied there is some drama in Atlanta over the choice to help us. We don't want shit to go sideways and NOT be doing EVERYTHING in our power to carry our own water.

Our forces shall be on overwatch and concentrate all fire versus single targets in a 5:1 ratio as they come in range.

5 arty on 1 target using indirect fire at 40 units out, smiths has confirmed to me IRL only the five NEAREST units can so engage. (Distance across the perimeter makes the arty on far side to0 far away to participate turn 1 at max rng)

Second 5 arty engage as soon as presented with valid targets (if that happens turn 1)

The AKP's have been shuffled to be on the perimeter side closest to projected approach, ready and on overwatch. 2x 5 units.

Yep, concentration of fire seemed best for quick elimination of targets. this description of Charleston's Mk. Zero's elude to a penchant for dodging.

We know the Alaya-Vijnana cybernetic implants on the pilots spine allow quicker than mechanical response, if they possess additional tech that enhances dodge capabilities we may be facing early Tacit Ronin dodge machines.
 
I think it'd be wise to develop next downtime some FASCAM rounds (Family of Scatterable Mines).
for our Artillery / MLRS or redevelop an existing system like the M-136 Volcano mine system (M-87 Canister) : 1 AP mine and 5 AT mines per canister

Volcano is compatible with both Duece & halfs -or- the Black Hawk helo as a dispersal vehicle.



It shouldn't be too difficult as the Strike Eagles have these as one of their standard rounds:

BLU-91/B (anti-tank mine) dispenses a 6 unit long by 2 unit wide field, when a vehicle enters a mined unit, must roll to attempt to pass through safely (roll 1d10) 1-8 suffer upto 2pts blast k-scale, 9 or 10 you luck out.
 
FASCAM rounds are a relatively simple reverse engineer from the BLU-91/B - the Vulcan system sounds like a slightly altered dispersal pattern (10 units x 1 unit deep, instead of the 6 x2) but your tech guys are pretty damned sharp and could deepen the field at the cost of less frontage or tune the BLU-91 to match Volcano pattern (CHOSE ONE STANDARD FASCAM). I'd prefer not to have tons of variants causing bottlenecks in your supply chain.

4 1/2 hrs to deadline. so far no critiques or opposition voiced.

Just outside the DP is a smidge vague, the Rabbi has him at 5 units out (still inside the min AKP range) as Davel tends to be a bit -messy-.

I apologize for my extended absence, I had nearly a 400 word post 'draft' saved took a day or two away because family bought me a few new games (shame on me I know) but when I went to put finishing touches on it and -poof- its all gone.

I was all bitter and couldn't jump right back in. Hopefully I can recapture the flavor of the lost post and my muse.

(Anyone interested games were : Dead by Daylight, Grounded, & Green Hell)
