[X] The other girl's room, to talk.

She's familiar to us. She thought she recognized us. We gotta figure that out.

[x] Wherever the stranger is going

Yeah - we really need to understand if they stranger is going to talk to our parents - and also if they've thought through the fact that they are going to be telling them that we're still around when they have literally buried us.

[X] The other girl's room, to talk.

We really need to figure out what our magic is, because all we've seen so far is very simple hard light constructs. We need to find out if that's all we have, or if there's more.

Best as I know, ghosts don't need to sleep. Other girl said she wanted to go home because "It's been… a long day", so I don't think she'd appreciate someone barging in wanting to talk shop. So by process of elimination…

I'm holding off from voting for this round since both of the leading options seem equally interesting, but I wanted to note that I noticed something odd in this update. Could be just an error, but maybe not... Anyone else notice this? Am I crazy?

Hard to say without knowing what "this" is but I did notice that the ring count is three out of seven empty spaces, when we got to pick from six different rings. Which implies one was missing before we got to pick.

One more thing to talk with them about.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking of. Seems interesting, especially since their earlier comments implied we were the first.
On the other hand though, I really want to sort things out with Green... Argh, indecision!

I think he said (and death confirmed) we were the first dead person he managed to catch up with, not the first MG period.

Changed my mind.

[X] The other girl's room, to talk.

I want answers.

"It won't last you long, so better make it fast."

...In Russia payphones let you call emergency services for free. Of course the last time I actually saw payphone was about five years ago...

-[] Before that, ask the greenete's name and introduce yourself
--[] When she shout "What the fuck, you're dead?!" calmly explain that you got better

I looked it up, and emergency calls are also free in Japan. An error, or did we just waste ten yen?

INB4 answer is "yes" :V

We need to build up to the dramatic reveal that we are dead, we can't jump the gun just yet!

Um. "It's been… a long day." means our funeral, too, yeah?

I'm questioning whether it counts as kinder to leave her be with that, and the meguca things, and reveal who we are later, or to deal with it now so she doesn't have to deal with two separate instances of "holyfuckshit what, what, but you, I, you, dead?" Or, that is, not having to deal with us being dead-gone, and then having to deal with us being dead-here but memory-gone as separate steps, again, now, any more than she already has, if indeed she'd have known us enough for the memory-gone part to be... a large part of the... everything.

Thoughts?

Personally half of the reason I'm wanting to talk to mystery person is to figure out how our being dead is playing into things. Such as the plan to talk to our parents. If we're going to upend someone else's understanding of life and death it helps if we know what we're dealing with first.

The other half is that we don't know this person. We don't know if they're related to the person who rah us over, is the one that ran us over, a friend, a mentor, someone we mentored. Or if they had a bad day unrelated to our death/funeral.

If we go in there as is we need to figure out who we are to the person, explain that we are dead but not, and we have no memory of them all in a way that won't threat to murder our working relationship in the crib. Since you know, following someone home when they explicitly had a long day is a real bad way to start off what is already going to be a difficult conversation.
