Yeah, he's also apparently dumber than a 3rd grader in some iterations. Just cause he has certain abilities, he isn't suddenly the best at everything. In some versions he doesn't have either, which are you using? Thanos is literally incapable of any mind or magic abilities without getting an item. Strange isn't even the best magician in the universe. How can you just say he could break through without detection? At best I can see him spiriting a way in and observing the vault's interior. Can we at least get a explanation for Odin's security measures?

I'm not sure who you're referring to? Doom? Being dumber than a 3rd grader?

Thanos does in 616. And the tech could arguably be enough.

Strange? Make a portal and grab the artifacts. Close the portal.

Odin's security measures were bypassed. If I told you how that'd be getting information Loki doesn't have.

A spell where hitting someone increases your strength with no limit? No that seems far above the MCU in scale of magic. And very broken.

I forgot how the evil minions just used a portal to bring Dormammu to Earth. It does seem as if there are measures the portal can't bypass

Do we not have gunir? Do we not have magicians? Do we ourselves not have proficiency in seals and have not gone in and out the vote? Didn't we head charge the reinforcement of security? Why in the name of The One Above All do we not now the defenses?

No I meant keep on reapplying a sealing a let it charge up. Then Loki releases the build up all at once in to one strong binding. An example is Loki is in range of an enemy. The enemy builds up sealing spells for as long as they are in range. Let's say in 10 seconds Loki builds up 10 seals on an enemy. The seals combine once Loki activates them in to one powerful seal. @KnowledgeKing

So make multiple seals? You can just like....do that. Don't need to combine them or anything.

The reason why I want to combine them is to get a higher roll. Like the first seal is 5 the second seal is 5 again then they combine to make a 10 seal vs the targets martial roll.

Also can Loki seal energy that hits him in his fist then release it in a pinch? @KnowledgeKing

That's less a magical limitation and more of a matter of distance

So Thanos went to one of the nine realms to get compatible magic and encountered someone with good enough mastery to bypass Odin's enchantments? Cause the alternative is that somehow, tech is compatible with magic, but only when its inconvenient for us.
 
@KnowledgeKing Would us helping the Dwarves have any impact on the acquiring a magic forge option for Asgard this turn? I noticed Loki bringing it up at the meeting with the Dwarves before the attack.

Right after installing actual factories and further integrating tech and magic? Yes so much so, I want to go on a vacation, maybe head out and start campaigning our new business before it dies from inactivity.

Be a good way to get contact with the sovereign, Nova Corps and so on.

I also still wanna get my hands on Ego.

Nah. Doesn't seem like a thing. You could maybe store seals in the gauntlets (outside of battle) so you could try to unleash them all at once as one seal. So kinda yes, kinda no.

Via enchantment or Dwarves? Either way it's possible but it won't be any old engagement. It'd have to be holds or extended contact.

Maybe. Maybe the people aren't Thanos' people. Or maybe they bypassed it other ways. Who knows.

I wouldn't say quit since there are a number of improvements we can still do. It's just that it would probably be a really good idea to get Odin up and running as soon as possible and that should come before our desires. At the least it would make assassinating him a lot harder. That and he is hanging on by a thread.
 
Is it possible to fully integrate the chitauri into the nine worlds? Like declare Asgard as an allied space for them and maybe set up some towed for their mind wave shiz. I feel like the chitauri could be really useful for Asgarda continues tech and they are actually buyable. Plus I just kinda like them. Something about the use of space whales.

How do the stored seals work? Is it going to be his magic times N. Where N is the number of seals cast.
How extended is the contact needed to drain? Can Loki work it in to his h2h?

Edit: could the dwarves make a gauntlet that attaches bugs or magical construct that hides and drains away martial? @KnowledgeKing

We did multiple "improve security" actions and got 106 people; what did you expect?
