@KnowledgeKing If she was using mind magic would we have to pass the intrigue roll to resist using willpower?Who says it didn't? Also it did happen same turn. I'll remind you that.
He could.
I'll think about it.

@KnowledgeKing OK can you tell us why Loki wanted to hire her, was it Aroma's referral?
Are there AI assistants in the building due to Osmand's discoveries yet or is that a seperate option?
Can we program AI assistants to spot magic usage and kinds of magic in use?
Can ya answer the first question or do we have to figure that out in quest? No not yet. You have to build them.
You can try to program it. And see if magic can be detected in that way.
Does Loki know the limitations of mind magic from his studies of magic and if so what are they? @KnowledgeKing
yup!!What limitations?
But yeah he knows the point buy. Do you want to see that?

Forego, Double Down, Extra actions, etc. We have options.I suggest you look at the point buy first. Getting OP ain't easy unless you specialize.
I imagine that it was indeed Amora's referral. In fact realistically if someone asked for a job and was referred by a good employee then there is little reason to not hire them when you're business is expanding rapidly anyway and the person being referred is highly qualified. Let's be real, if it weren't for the meta knowledge I doubt that people would even voice that much issue against hiring her.@KnowledgeKing OK can you tell us why Loki wanted to hire her, was it Aroma's referral?
*Raises hand* I still would.I imagine that it was indeed Amora's referral. In fact realistically if someone asked for a job and was referred by a good employee then there is little reason to not hire them when you're business is expanding rapidly anyway and the person being referred is highly qualified. Let's be real, if it weren't for the meta knowledge I doubt that people would even voice that much issue against hiring her.
Considering the whole bias thing I really doubt that. If anything from experience I'd think people would actually be eager to hire or at least not make that much of an issue of hiring her for a low level job like merely assistant or mage.
Problem is Amora did not specialize remember she also knows binding and is a very good enchantress. So she probably does not know most of that stuff yet but we should guard for it because we are Batman!!!
Yeah I suppose. But we didn't get the choice of whether or not to hire. That's the difference.Considering the whole bias thing I really doubt that. If anything from experience I'd think people would actually be eager to hire or at least not make that much of an issue of hiring her for a low level job like merely assistant or mage.
I still would to a certain extent. My reason?Considering the whole bias thing I really doubt that. If anything from experience I'd think people would actually be eager to hire or at least not make that much of an issue of hiring her for a low level job like merely assistant or mage.
What this guy said.Yeah I suppose. But we didn't get the choice of whether or not to hire. That's the difference.
IF she was being hired for a normal position and not HoD or VP of the company.I imagine that it was indeed Amora's referral.
As I pointed out it's not actually that unusual for a good role to get the players a hero unit and when it happens I never see people question it much in most situations. And again, Loki doesn't really have any IC reason not to hire her considering that we hire people all the time and not only is she apparently highly qualified but also got referred to by her sister who is a very powerful and talented mage. And note, the positions offered were also just merely assistant and mage. Throw in that she wanted to meet Loki personally and Loki met her then I really don't see much IC reason not to hire her.Yeah I suppose. But we didn't get the choice of whether or not to hire. That's the difference.
Ya but thats what i am trying to figure out and the MC is not answering weather Loki had a reason and what that reason was considering mind magic does not last forever even with Subtle and hidden. As I pointed out it's not actually that unusual for a good role to get the players a hero unit and when it happens I never see people question it much in most situations.
