Didn't the QM outright state repeatedly that Amora did not in fact mind rape her followers? Also not saying that Amora didn't make some really stupid mistakes. Just pointing out that a number of people also made some bad mistakes that lead to things that could have been avoided.

Yep, rather we direct her towards fulfilling her wants in a way that is harmless and possibly in a way that we can benefit from. One of the things I was annoyed about in the last quest was Odin trying to arrest Amora instead of talking to Loki first who more than likely could have convinced her to do her god thing outside the Nine Realms making everyone happy without all the drama.

I mean, only if she gave up the dwarven weaponry. Which was apparently the deal breaker.

Turns out people don't want you walking into court cases with something that invalidates them. In other new, water is wet.

According to the QM Amora would have actually been a lot more friendly and accommodating if Loki was the one that talked to her and would have even not bothered with the 'goddess' persona. Also IIRC she did actually give up her Dwarven artifacts but had issue with Odin trying to throw her in prison. That and we alongside Thor actually managed to talk Odin out of arresting Sif for also acquiring Dwarven artifacts.

What we should do is have Frigga check the badge to sew what Amora's level is at. If she sees any foul play she can tell us but again I don't think Amora botched the badges.

This feels way too meta gamey with it blatantly being influenced by OOC info and doesn't seem IC.

She came out with the goddess shiz as soon as we IC know of. OOC we know she'd been building the goddess thing for awhile. QM said that if Loki had simply talked to her things could've been resolved.

I'm not sure that's what happened. I remember it as Loki talking her into a trial, Odin argued that as is Tradition, something Amora should know of, she has to stay locked up until trial time and relinquish her items. She seemed against the imprisonment, but hinted tried to hide teh function of her dwarven items.

Man looking back on it, I hate how dependent we were on Hela.

What did we expect? For Hela to not side with Amora? We basically said fuck Odin twice, to his face.
 
Re reading the last update I think we should really invest in security for Midgard since Loki himself noted that it being primitive could be an issue thanks to the more 'advanced' races knowing about it and doing business there so it's definitely something we should work on as soon as possible.

Cant the buy the army option double as defenses and isn't the Mid-guard a Asgard protectorate?
 
Now that i think of it what if the crit was not a mental attack, what if it was a seduction attempt. Thinking about it Lorelei would probably know about the badges, and like i said i do not believe Amora left holes in the security plus the QM rolled intrigue and not willpower. I think Lorelei might have used the good old fashion way of getting stuff: seduction.
 
What if the badges just bent us to Amora's will, but made us think we were getting resistance. Heck that was a +40, that doesn't make any sense. Why was Amora even there when we were meeting Lorelei btw?

She was not there when we met Lorelei, that was just Loki remembering her referencing Lorelei. That is a little too tin foil hat for even me, even if the badges were a trap we would still get a willpower roll but to put a rest to the conspiracy next turn we should just ask Frigga to figure out what level Amora is at using the badges, this should allow her to see if there is foul play and answer this debate.

Midgard may be a protectorate but they don't really seem to do much in canon. Even then not sure that they could keep track of everything going on there thanks to our financial branch there. Think we should at least beef up security at the branch there.

In cannon the reason they could not deal with the Chiatri invasion is the bifrost was broken in Thor 1 but they still sent Thor same in Thor 2. So Odin should have some grasp of whats happening in Midguard.
