I'd say go for CMC, as we just handed over our recently aquired STC's to Cog boy's already and are about to get hit with the Machine Army. We're gonna need the best we got for this, at the very least, even if these automated units are low tech civil security bots for the GOAT, in modern 40k they are extremely lethal threat

I got a better idea for production.

[]Shut down our HQ Stubber Line and make a new HQ Carapace Armor Line instead.

I propose we stick with carapace armor, but shut down our HQ Stubber so we have enough skilled labor to make it HQ. We likely don't even need Stubbers anymore since Laz-guns require the exact same labor. Laz-Guns are more popular so we can make more sales when we reopen lines.

whichever plan we end up voting, we need to remember to produce a bunch of poor quality basic goods using our spare capacity (they take no labor and are pure profit) it doesnt amount to much extra income, but if we had done so last turn, wed have gotten an extra 20% income.

We really should make use of our Production Capacity, also i think that our manufactorum could become the biggiest on this world as we have all the room to grow while those in the upper lvl dont

Actually, I have a better idea for production that can be very helpful for our AI Attack.

[]Shut down our HQ Stubber Line and make a new HQ Carapace Armor Line instead.
[]Temporarily shut down all five of our HQ Basic Goods Lines and build a HQ Chimera Line.
[]Temporarily shut down our HQ Advanced Goods Line and build 4 HQ Las Gun Lines.

So for one turn we don't produce any HQ Basic Goods and build 10 HQ Chimera thanks to the 5 Skilled labor. An attack is imminent so building Chimeras sounds very useful. This will give us some thicker armor and more places to attack.

We also temporarily close our Advanced Goods and build a whole bunch of Las Guns since we don't have enough for a HQ Impaler. We can also set up a nice stockpile that should fit all of our troops. While also selling plenty of surplus to the PDF for a nice price.

We can restore the HQ Basic and Advanced Goods lines next turn when we get a new wave of recruits. The expedition will also return so we should have some more skilled people for work... hopefully.

None

We have over 9.7 Million Thrones so spending 400K is nothing for security.

We are going to be fighting shortly, so we need weapons, armor, and vehicles.

Las guns are mainly so everyone has a weapon since we don't have enough HQ Impalers for everyone. They are also better overall than Stubbers and require the same amount of labor so we can shut that line down.

Carapace Armor because that should provide us enough protection for everyone and is less suspicious than our Power Armor. Not to mention we don't have enough labor.

The big deal will be establishing a Chimera Production Line. So we can now access vehicles and give our security some much need mobile armor. This should really boost our security and increase survivability. Actually...

Edit: Changed my mind, I'll go with this Plan instead.

What bonuses would we get for having some Chimera for the coming assault?
Well if you equip your troops with them, you'll get their stated bonus, otherwise nothing since they would just be in storage. But don't forget that all the equipment upkeep for your security is decreased by .2 by your arsenal, meaning it takes .3 units of armor per squad and .1 vehicle per squad

Zaxor the tech-priest
Zaxor the tech-priest

Zaxor stepped off the transport shuttle that ran from the elevator terminal to the manufactorum #892, and once there looked up at the towering manufactorum that loomed over him. He felt a mix of excitement and apprehension as he made his way towards the entrance of the one he had been assigned to. This was the moment he had been preparing for his entire life - the moment when he would finally become a full-fledged tech-priest, dedicated to the service of the Machine God.

As he entered the manufactorum, Zaxor was struck by the sheer scale and complexity of the machinery around him. The sounds of clanging metal, hissing steam, and the hum of servos filled the air, and the machinery stretched out as far as the eye could see. He felt a sense of awe and reverence, knowing that he was about to become part of something truly great.

Zaxor was assigned to a team of tech-adepts led by a grizzled veteran named Skar. The other tech-adepts were a rough-looking bunch, but Zaxor was eager to prove himself and earn their respect. He quickly got to work, performing routine maintenance tasks and assisting with minor repairs.

As the days went by, Zaxor found himself growing more and more comfortable in the manufactorum. He began to understand the intricacies of the machinery in his assigned section, and he developed a rapport with his fellow tech-adepts. He felt a deep sense of pride knowing that the products he helped to produce were being used to build and defend the hive city.

But life in the hive city was never easy, and danger was always lurking around the corner. One day, a massive power surge caused by an equipment malfunction threatened to rip apart the factory section where Zaxor and his team were working. The other tech-adepts panicked, but Zaxor remained calm. Drawing upon his training and his faith in the Machine God, he quickly diagnosed the problem and worked with his team to shut down the malfunctioning equipment before it could cause any further damage.

The incident cemented Zaxor's reputation as a skilled and dedicated tech-priest. He continued to work in the manufactorum, rising through the ranks to become a leader in his own right. He developed friendships with workers from other factory sections, forging bonds of camaraderie over shared hardships and triumphs.
As he worked, Zaxor felt a sense of purpose and fulfillment that he had never experienced before. He knew that he was doing important work, and that he was part of a community of people who were all working towards a common goal. He felt a deep sense of gratitude to the Machine God for guiding him to this place, and he knew that he would spend the rest of his life serving the Machine God and helping to keep the hive city of Octamis running smoothly.

This was a good read Thule and gives a little life to the cogboys. Choose your reward

1)Get another 3 Tech Priest shifts immediately (Thus gaining 3 Industry dice for this turn)
2)Increase the amount of Tech Priests per turn by 2 for 3 turns
3)Spin the loot wheel
