Servant Clans
  • Gardiner: Since it was part of the post.
  • Jeeves: The last name of that famous Valet from that old tv series.
  • Ronoue: From the main Butler of Umineko.
Guard Clan
  • Sandman: Based on the old anime Gravion: A mysterious clan with several very talented individuals (not all of them are maids). Anyone who has ever seen that old anime knows they are very skilled and fill several roles.
They will join you in the Sector, M'Lord.

Uh since we aren't making any progress on the "give Sabutai a face" front... Maybe we could let the qm choose a face for the man?
Well, I know 6 people liked my vote post, but that's not necessarily how we were voting. So yeah, hard to tell.

That is a HUGE boon! Holy shit, an intact GAOT STARSHIP?! The AdMech will literally offer up their firstborn servitors to get that (so I really don't know what more they could offer us, because we're already a Sector Lord, so I really don't know what else higher tier could be left)!

At this rate, we're going to have an Ark Mechanicus and an entire Exploratory fleet permanently assigned to us, and possibly a new Space Marine chapter if they have any new foundings kickoff soon, because I could see the AdMech calling in heavy favors to keep us very specifically protected and safe. Not that I'm complaining.

I'm curious however as to what the capabilities of this Golden Age frigate will be like. That time period, even a system frigate should be capable of defeating an entire Imperial cruiser from the current period, if not even more lopsided.

I'm very curious as to whether this frigate design will be capable of having a warp drive somehow integrated into the design, because we all know for sure that the Imperium and the AdMech would both love to have these kind of kickass frigates kicking around the Galaxy delivering whoop ass on whoever the hell they don't like, which is pretty much everybody lol.

Edit: I'm also interested in the general stats of this new frigate class, because in the other 40K thread I made the assumption that Golden Age frigates that class would be of a smaller size than a lot of Imperial versions. So Golden Age forget might be 1 km long, but a 40K frigate might be like 5 km long. So I'm interested to see whether this follows existing Naval terminology for 40K time period, or whether they operate it on a smaller ship size because per pound their ships could deal much more greater damage than 40K ever could.

I am not sorry to say this but you can't put a warp drive in the system monitor. Due to it not having large amounts of dead space (because it's actually designed well) there's no place you could put it without removing chunks of the internals.

Edit: You can still build that Dreadnaught you have the STC for, it's warp capable.

You know, that is a good point, good proper engineering doesn't leave a lot of leftover room lol. I keep forgetting that 40K ships are the equivalent of "take Golden Age garbage scow, add guns to the top of it", lol. Like, Imperial battleships are barely even proper weapons from the perspective of a golden age military analyst lol.

And suddenly I want to build at least one of those damn dreadnoughts, just so we can drive it around as ... hmm, what would we call it? Ah, I got it:

"Sabutai's Motherf***in Pimp Hand"

If it works for Benjamin Sisko from Star trek, it works for us LOL. And, unlike the Defiant, the hull is actually large enough to fit the full title it!

Ah! I see we have found the STC for our sectors No.1 export.
Build so many of these that we will need a system wide traffic department.
Even Tyranids upon noticing the amount of ships in our systems will just go 'Nope' and head for another sector.
Just need to get our hands on some Universal Carriers to export these.

You know I'm half-tempted to just set this quest in the second half of M41 when we get to decide the era we are in. Sure, our technology doesn't get to expand that much but we also get the chance to troll the living crap out of the Tau and their "superior" tech.

What we could also do is build all the components and subsystems of those frigate design, then ship it to the system in question and have it built on site. Most of the system clients who could afford to purchase super high-end frigates from us would have enough orbital shipbuilding capacity in-system that they could assemble it themselves, or we could ship over trained work crews to build it there as a large price multiplier. Regardless, it would be much simpler to ship all the parts then ship a complete frigate.

Either way, we'll be printing thrones.

QM i have finished one OMAKE about our Mechanicus agent, Pi-Tau 65 so do you let me give him the Archmagos Title or this is to overkill? i will drop the omake now for him

A Master's disciple part 1
OMAKE: A Master's disciple part 1

Pi-Tau 65 was in the forges creating and testing the new Hound Patters (Raijin,Orthurus,Cerberus) totally certified by Saint Sabutai but between finishing the new Steel Hound he received a message in his Vox Channel about a Magos visiting and requesting a metting with local mechanicus forces and see the new Saint.

After finishing its task, The Architect was walking to the room where he was going to see this Magos, as that was a very rude greeting from one to another, but when he reached the door he stop to a immediate halt, making everyone of lower rank there begining to sweat as why their Lord of the Forge sudently stoped moving, maybe it is a Rival or a old enemie, multiple teories being created in mere second with their agumentations, but no it was something much much worse than that we has being visited and possibly being tested by none other than Master Marlon Antigolil, renowed Archmagos that have mastered the field of Large Scale production receiving the title of Archmagos, a long dream for young Pi-Tau 6 and a idol that gave him strenght and will to pass the trials to begome a Magos.

''What dammed things you are doing to those beautiful STCs, Tech-Priest Pi-Tau 65'' Master Marlon grabing the young Magos by the neck. ''Look here this perfectiong of a Steel Hound durable, fast and very deadly so why you are desecrating it creating those Patters!!, if you are doing Heretek do it right for the Omnissiah sake, all those classes i have given you is for nothing, i'm seeing that maybe will be necessary to realocate time to teach you again little Pi''.

After the speech and the much sore neck, Pi-Tau is sweting oil remember the tortu* ehem* advanced classes that Master Marlon have decided to teach him. ''M-master its v-vvery good to see you here buy why would you come here so soon the News is very new(heh pun not intended) it would take months for your fleet to reach here'' talking with a very much fearful face. ''Bah i was in a close sector doing some purging here and there, entering secreat black tombs the basics of course, but when i see that my little disciple was around i couldn't control myself and not visit him, after all i need to still see if all this time from the forge worlds did any good for him, but it seen i need to strait you a little bit hummm, i don't remember teaching you to leave the Omnissiah blessed itens be traveled out of the forges with this amount of flaws, look here.'' And Martin take its disciple by its mechanical tendrils and go leaving the room, with everyone there awestruck at the two interactions, and with the conversations between the servs, ''Soooo, do we bring this to Saint Sabutai we can see that The Architect was 'kidnaped' by its Master''. '' No he is fine ( a scream being released [Noooo!!! Please master no the dammed trials i don't need to fight a invading force and still being able to operate the forge AHHHH!!! YOU OLD SCRAP METAL GREMILING NOT THE SHOCK WHIPS]............) we can send to Master Sabutai as a training exercise, yes the Architech are merely refining its abilities.''

A Master's disciple part 2
OMAKE: A Master's disciple part 2

After a long and (not) happy day, Pi-Tau 65 was completely exausted, he didn't need to tell Master Marlon that he was old scrap metal the shock did awake him after the 20 knockdown ''shudder'', so it came as a shock that the same (cruel, damme, cursed, legendary, idol, father) was talking with the Saint in his workshop while checking the Original STC of the Steel Hound from that is the bodyguard of Saint Sabutai, so while both of them was talking Pi-Tau tried to silently escape this situation but before he even try to escape he hear its Master talking to stop ''sulking around and just enter the damm workshop'', he wasn't sulking and anyone that try to tell otherwise can became best friend with his personal weapons.

''Humm, Magos Martin it was a very interesting conversation with you i hope that when i establish my World Capital you be there as one guest of honor, as your disciple did increrible work around my little forge with the resources that he has.'' Pi-tau aren't blusing (ahhh the saint praise my work, Glory to the Omnissiah may he lives forever) so with a totally not blusing face he see the Saint leave its forge, so he is alove with its Master in the innermost place of the forge.

''Hum i have heard good things about you young disciple, i will say after everthing that the Saint talked about you i refrain from some of statemeants, but do not be soo happy because you still aren't good enought for the Saint, i don't want good from you, i want perfection so it is why that i will be here for a few months to destroy, reform and shape you to be a better Magos and maybe after all be fit to receive the title of Archmagos, so prepare little Pi because we have a long month and the enemies of the Imperium don't stop even a single day plotting its destruction.

A Master's disciple final
OMAKE: A Master's disciple final

After long and gruesome months of training, studing and learning new things and modes of construction from Master Marlon Antigolil, Pi-Tau 65 was a reforged, better in ever single way, now that he reached this new high Pi-Tau can see much more easily the flaws that his Master Always keep hitting with the new Patters form the Steel Hound, heh he truly was a fool who in their right mind would product a weapon that it melt from the speed that it reaches, but that is in the Past today he is in the cathedral of the Local Mechanicus, in its deepest place he is surrounded with thousands of tech-priests and servitors, and in the podium he can see the Saint, Archmagos Marlon Antigolil and the Local Archmagos Kelbul Degedust, the Room is emgramed with all the symbols of the Omnissiah and the Aquila of the Imperium.

''Today we come here to judge if Magos Pi-Tau 65 disciple of Archmagos Marlon Antigolil is Worth of the Title Archmagos, after being prepared, tested and reforged to be better than the old him, Pi-tau 65 will be judge by two Archmagos and Saint Sabutai himself, they will see every bit of knowledge, skill and achieviment in the young Magos.'' The powerful cold voice of Archmagos Kelbul reverberates the wall of the silent Monastery.

''Magos Pi-Tau 65 nicknamed ''The Archietect'', has revived several STCs that the Saint Himself discovered in the deepest place in the Hive, we can see too that he helped in the construction of Blessed armament against several Abominable Inteligencia that is a sin to be existed and so helped to clear and exterminate several enemies of the mechanicus and with the best of its abilities have created several new lines of weapons, armors and much more, in the low time that was placed on the ''Foundation'', so with all the credits due to where is needed it was decreed upon the Eyes of the Omnissiah himself that Pi-Tau be received the title of Archmagos, be proud of your achievements young disciple because today you surpaces the Master, as even i in your age haven't done much for the Mechanicus, so as my last lesson to you listen very well, continue doing what you have but remember the lessons of your predecessors as multiples talented and ambitious people have died because their pride clouded their judgment so keep going with a clear head and one even cleaner weapon because it will be your job to forge the Saint armors and Ships for a unexplored galaxy which is a thousand more cruel and poisonous than my harshest training ever will, good luck in your Journey Archmagos Pi-Tau 65.

PS: I got this after seeing the Pattern omake about the Steel Hound, got me thinking of what if Pi-Tau master got to see the flaws in its design and well it escalted to this

Then build some ya numpty, you fuckers have had the ability to make whole packs of them since you unlocked the Monolith

But you gave us really shooty guns and power armor. It is hard to ignore those shinies compared to your other stuff. We also don't have enough staff to fill all our recruits with those steel hounds. That is impressive, but will be ignored by other shinies. Tis a tragic fate.

Also, we are going to leave soon and we need more Impalers for our new recruits. We will probably save that stuff for the next thread... unless all our other shinies distract us away from that. We got a lot of STCs, licenses, and recruitment needed for other stuff. So the hounds are likely to be ignored yet again.

The next quest the turn will be 5 years so its possible that we build at least a small section for the building of the hounds

The point is to get the info actually used, so trade this to the Imperiums Navy and Administratum and they will see to it that they are produced enmass.
If that's your plan, then it would be more effective if you sold it to a ton of Forge Worlds. The navy doesn't usually make ships for anyone but themselves, and planetary governors buy most system monitors themselves with only places like cadia getting navy handouts

@Lord Necromancer So I was wondering if you were going to change some game mechanics like the Omake policy when we migrate to the next thread. Coming up with rewards for a sector lord might be difficult.

I would distribute the system frigate design to the Imperial Navy, Administratum, and as many major AdMech forgeworlds (IE ones with substantial orbital shipbuilding capacity) as we can reach on the opposite side of the galaxy from us (this way we'll still have a market locally, but the galaxy benefits). Definitely a copy to Terra, Mars, and Ryza.

Honestly though, there are multiple STCs we'll need to send as a "gift package" to AdMech forgeworlds only:

To Be Completed:
- Space Construction Vehicles
- some industrial techniques that should help throughput
- better orbital construction methods
- Panther-class medium Tank
- SC Rapid Construction
- Terraforming
- Crucio siege tank
- 3-D Printing (Large-scale)

Full STCs:
- Impaler Gauss Rifle
- CMC-400 Power Armor
- Megalodon Class-Dreadnought (Ship) a 20Km long ship armed with advanced armor, engines, power-plants, and auto-loaders for the cannons.
- VR Training pods (Allows for the Construction of a VR Training complex. Constructing this allows units to be trained faster and up to [Solar Aux] levels)
- Grav Tech
- Utility Exosuits
- 3-D Printing (Small-scale)
- Patrolman-class System Monitor (Frigate)

The TBC obviously are my top focuses on which STCs to finish first, they'll benefit us first before any other faction we gift them to, and we'll have the longest lead time in implementing them to maximum benefit.

These STCs, IMHO, are the most important to truly saving the Imperium and relieving the constant immense pressure on it from all sides so any breathing room can be achieved without a legion of foes taking advantage of temporary weakness. By focusing on toughening up out infantry with PA and Impalers, making armored warfare stronger with Panthers and Crucios, improving the Imperium's warships with a Dreadnought and a system frigate design, having options to rehabilitate worlds with Terraforming, and a shitton of industrial/production augments, the IOM has a chance at halting it's downward slide.

@Lord Necromancer , do we know yet the location of the newly conquered Sector that were to be installed into? Would effect where we would send STC gift packages.
