So we are gonna have to expand the walls to be able to keep all that new space we have safe. also with all that new space we have, how far from the Elevator Terminal are we?

Turn 6 Results
The madness never seems to end down here in the bowels of this accursed hive. You had asked the Logis in charge of the stationed Skitarii if they might help expand the area under your aegis by clearing rubble, exterminating pests, and bringing power back on for some of the surrounding area. What they ended up doing was a mixture of the requested task and mass looting, probably in an attempt to find more artifacts and maybe another STC. While they didn't find anything really interesting (due to your people having already picked the area clean) they did find a sizable horde of materials through demolition and recycling. For reasons you don't quite understand, they gave you a pittance of the basic materials they gave you the vast majority of the advanced and exotic materials. But during their loot fest there were some ruins that collapsed, areas where the ground caved in, and a number of attacks by mutant rats, overly large bugs, and dogs of unusual size which killed a total of around 4 [Skitarii] units though 2 were replaced soon after due to your support deal. But at the end of it all you now have an additional 50 [Space] worth of area you can develop, which you sorely needed.

You've also sent a large portion of your workforce and security detail on a long term salvage expedition through the ruins of the bedrock levels. They will be gone for about a year and a half, all things considered, and despite the headaches and hangovers they cause you, having more artifacts will give you more leverage and potential trade. But the thing that has most haunted your dreams is the message sent to you by one of your original Tech-Priests (those loyal to Sophia) stating they were able to open one of those boxes you had given them for study. Within it contained a Printout for some sort of PA capable of being used by mere mortals for a fairly reasonable amount of resources. While it is much bulkier than the armor used by the Sororitas, it doesn't cost nearly as much or require as much maintenance. And in other bad news the recycler and construction vehicle your people found 18 months ago have finally become inoperable and been given to the cogboys for study and worship.

One thing that had been at the back of your mind is the worry that whatever spooked the wildlife would make an appearance

Does whatever spooked the wildlife show up? DC 40 1d100=10 :jackiechan:

But nothing materialized, though a vox from your expedition said they had seen the trail of destruction from something BIG having moved through an area no to far from the outer edges of your newly expanded territory. But already you have seen reports of the old critters having begun to move back in, so you'll have to start dealing with them again. But in other (good) news, the one thing you set your people to build this report has been an unmitigated success. What was going to be a small armory in your original manufactorum instead had the good fortune of piggybacking off of the skitarii's efforts. During the clearing they found a large bunker underground that what little records they found claim to have been a "Prepper's Base". While you are unsure what the goals of this "Prepper's" organization was, their base was repurposed into a full arsenal for storing and maintaining your military goods and gear.

Say GM how close is our base with the new space, to the Elevator Terminal?

And will the Enigmatic Box and Metallic Obelisk keep rolling each turn until its done?

Oh no. Another STC print out. A power armor design that is cheap enough to be able to outfit high tier mortal units enmass...

At least this time we can give it to our buddy in the Mechanicus?

No idea, both because I never really put a number to it and because your not building in only one direction, your spreading out in all 4 directions
yea that is fair, it would be dumb to just expand in one direction

So next turn we really need to take to Sophia, we need her and her loyal Tech-Priests on our new world, or maybe have her get her own world near ours and build her own forge world

At least the skitarii can be replaced, hopefully our investigation team survives. At least we have a regenerating combat asset to serve as a buffer.

We are going to need a lot more people in all of our departments. Especially soldiers if those losses are anything to go by. We need a massive recruitment drive, last year.

I'm half tempting to create groups just to go in other hives and go to their foundations because it is getting ridiculous our luck, the other half all of this is a plan of Tzeentch to see the Imperium burn a little more

hmmm, thinking we keep this STC, give a copy to Ad Mech for boons and permission to set up and sell the power armor to Imp Guard

That is not something we are legally allowed to do and would only hurt our relationships for trying to do.
legality wise, ad mech gets the original STC, but think we can still get a copy and permission to manufacture them, after all hive worlds do produce lasguns, tanks, and other such STC items somehow after all.
