Then you must be Canadian!! Only a Canadian would be as sickeningly nice and sweet as you are!
Yep yep, sorry for not revealing it earlier, eh.

Also heads up on mechanics if y'all are planning to go onto the offensive:
"An army marches on its stomach", said a wise man who would one day forget all that as he chased Russians in the snow.
Ahem. Well, while fighting a defensive war is easy due to the fact that all your support and supplies can easily come from not far away, far from enemy disturbance, the same cannot be said of offensive wars. When you go on the offensive, the roles are (generally) flipped! As the attacker, you have the initiative, but as you march into enemy territory, I'll be keeping a much closer look at your disease and logistics to make sure those pesky enemies aren't slacking off when cutting your supply lines :D But yeah, with great risk comes great reward, as taking territory and even the enemy capital, if you are able, will end wars quicker, potentially saving lives that could be put to more productive uses, like farming or painting. The only question is how much to push...
I'll be honest, as long as y'all don't go cavorting into Russia in the winter as I'm sure all you Napoleon wannabes are tempted to do so, the danger will probably not be too high, dice willing.

If you can't help but invade Russia, dont go for Moscow or Petrograd, go for the Ukraine and cut off Russia's breadbasket and warm-water ports. Then you get to starve Russia, and as long as the Ottoman let your shipping through the Dardanelles and the Bosporus, you can eat Ukrainian grain and resupply by sea! The only place as fertile as the Ukraine is the American Great Plains for the same reason; they're well-watered steppe near major navigable rivers.

@Plausitivity we seem to also be an ASOIAF quest now.

Not that I'm complaining.

Understandable. Instead of getting DEM GAINZ, I too write character sheets on my cellular device :V

Yeah sounds about right. Though Decorum is also presenting oneself to court and political scenarios.

I'll give you +10 for Davout and +5 for the extra effort on Stannis, in case we want to transport him here (he won't, but it's nice to dream)

I thought this was a Star Wars quest, actually.
A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one.

Also, due to the Law of Conservation of MCs, the other Davout (you know, that guy who died alongside the other 15,000 brave souls in the Netherlands to allow his comrades a chance to escape) will not be showing up. This is OUR Davout, if anything.
Butterflies, ahoy.

Oh, one of Robespierre's lackeys. Right.
A nation regenerates itself only upon heaps of corpses.
That's not how necromancy works! You need the souls still tethered to the living realm, from what my knowledge of D&D has taught me!
You kill your enemies with words and the full weight of the law, not with pistols and swords.
There's something we can all agree with.
Your rapper name shall be... Just da Saint!
Dad would be disappointed.
Damn you gotta attack me directly, don't you.
I was gonna give you +95 but you just had to write that.
Here's a +10 instead, you insulterer :V

That reminds me, why is Napoleon the only individual person who gets a roll, again?
Napoleon is what you call a "Show Nun Protagonist", a character who possesses powers beyond the average mortal, thus necessitating the attention and wills of the gods themselves to rein in his abilities. The "Nun" refers to the ties France has with the Roman Catholic Church, which has influence throughout the continent, and some famous examples of nuns are Mother Theresa, whom we today now revere in various forms. When shown such connections to God, the fabric of reality bends so as to preserve the very integrity of the one we know, as the mere presence of a man like Napoleon will require divine amounts of power to contain.

Also, I don't want to keep track of and roll for the possible demise of every single character. Plenty of that on the battlefield and through unavoidable events.
