I know, to what I see nearly none of the civilians are on our side

Well I rolled Paul François Jean Nicolas Barras to joined Napoleon's side. While Dain was able to get Lucien Bonaparte, Antoine Louis Albitte, Gracchus François Jean-Baptiste Topino-Lebrun from the Civilian/Ministers. Honestly surprised we got this many.

Well, if no one minds, I'll take a set of four rolls... wish me luck and here goes nothing...

EDIT: 87 - Jean Baptiste François Carteaux
77 - Alexandre François Marie, Viscount of Beauharnais
33 - Antoinette Gabrielle Danton
24 - Pierre-André Coffinhal-Dubail

Nice, if you give the 33 to a general, then he is on our side and we get other 2 civilians

So it seems that even the government ministers who were on the whole side of the Republic, see arresting and possibly executing army officers (though to be fair only a few committed actual treasons), was kinda a bad move.

And while some may have personal reasons to join up... there may be just some politics and royalists who decide it would be better to run with the stability candidate, Napoleon (though Brian could easily be the same thing had he decided to remain in power).

And speaking of stability: Arrest Roll on conspirators and traitors (By Robe): https://rolz.org/embed?jgyx2ov3nq:kpt9dq24

I shall leave it at that.

Well Robespierre is starting to arrest people but it seems like he only got two people. Question is who?

If I had to make a guess on who is getting arrested. I'd say Napoleon's brother Lucien from just being his brother and maybe he says something he shouldn't in front of Robespierre with someone agreeing with him. Which gets them arrested. Then maybe two Ministers go to Napoleon to tell him what happened.

Just a theory. So could be wrong. :V

Wait. Didn't Robespierre kill her husband? Like she believes her husband was a traitor or she afraid/forced to do this?
Alexandre François Marie, Viscount of Beauharnais - Napoleon (77 + 20 = 97)

And look at that. We got the guy that was married to Napoleon's wife in the original timeline. Pretty interesting actually and curious if we'll meet him and her.

That depends on your point of view.

And yes, Robe did execute her husband.

Also, she survived the birth of her fourth child, who's name is Thérèse.

We have already met Beauharnais when we saved Mayance from its siege and sent Brunswick packing.

In fact we struck up a report with him, and he likes us as a young, semi-experienced commander who can learn a thing or two.

Ah this seems more like Robespierre is threatening her to support him then if she actually name her newborn daughter after us.

Forgot about that. Very interesting. At least we have a pretty good reason why he has joined Napoleon's side. Or at least Brian's side

... this is almost worth skipping out on Russia and Italy for.
Between the potential civil war that is about to happen, the massive clusterfuck that is France slowly descending into Chaos while two potentially rival governments try to duke it out, all while the best and brightest young military minds battle it out for France's Soul, all the while the Rest of Europe wonders how the fuck this chaotic mess of a nation kicked their asses when they should have by all means failed?

I mean, the story is there, but the execution is going to be what matters.

Esspecially because there are a few more roles that need to be filled, and a few more rolls for Europes... Reaction to this bullshit.

We're still missing rolls for 2 of the civilian ministers/revolutionaries and 1 of the generals... anyone up for doing the last three rolls? (those marked with undecided are those who we haven't rolled for yet).

There are also more you can roll for if you like. just ones I have not put in yet because Bed time.

So, most of the Military Leaders are on our side while most of the Civilians are with Robby.

Sad, but not unexpected. Oh well, I suppose we'll have to kick their asses once the Civil War begins and they appeal to the foreign great Powers for Military Aid, because that's the only way they stand any Chance of winning in that case.
