..... hmmmm. Did other places that passed the Roche limit also start making their own Gatherings? Is a new Gathering a result of having a whole bunch of people crammed into one space, believing in lots of things, empowering nearby spirits until they get strong enough to look like a threat to the top dogs of the current Divine Gathering?

... How many nations have the Divine Gathering destroyed in order to kill potential competitors before they get strong enough?

So the Beasts of Autumn, the other countries wanting to invade, and probably more problems in the future... are they all because of our tax spooder being too good at his job and making it look like Oskaria has something resembling a functional government?

Did the people who set up the systems to encourage colonies know about the cockroach limit at the time? Who thought that it was a good idea to twist fate so that everyone who discovered the limit would be named for the common ancestor of all life since The Calamity?

I could see that argument... except that the training option for this month as presented seems to include "some simple recovery" baked into it.
I also intend to train next turn. I think our best bet is going to be making it a reasonably strong priority for the forseeable future.
