So, instead of lasers that ignite clothing, dazzle them, and irritate their skin, it might be the Process equivalent of a beanbag round to the shoulder. Still non-lethal, just a lot harsher about it.
I thought it was more Broken bones possibly necks as well, maybe chance of maiming and death from bloodloss.

After all, we dont have healing.

I mean, there is still reboot(). It would keep the fang grunts alive if the process gets too rough. I'm confident in the little guy though, he's smart brought to figure out how far is too far in a fight.

Aura makes choke holds 100% the way to go for less-lethal suppression purposes, because holy crap the difference in durability is drastic. Aura people can take .50 rounds to the chest and get right back up after. Shoot a normal person with a .50 and they're going to be salsa.

[X] Underground Assault

Personally I'd've gone with Suppressing Fire only since there should be police soon and so that there's some defensive backup in case something risks penetrating the bunker we make, but it's overall a good plan.

Ok, look, I'm not, gonna toot my own horn or anything, but I'd say I'm very good at my job.

Looking forward to Weiss realizing this wasn't just bluster in the aftermath of this - even without knowing the full bullshit of the Process, at minimum she'll know that he has an intelligent AI that can do whacky nanomachine shenanigans.

We should introduce her to our Sword as well then, simply because she already knows about a good chunk of our schenanigans :D.

Honestly, I was just waiting for her to ask if the cells come in white and blue instead of red :p. Also, good luck sneaking spyware on to one of them or any devices they are protecting ;).

  • [X] Underground Assault
-[X] Badcells- Pros: Smaller, faster targets, greater numbers, capable of limited flight. Cons: Lower-powered weapons, unable to restrain assailants.
-[X] Offence Augmentation- sacrifice defence in order to take down the targets in a rapid and decisive manner, while leaving sysadmin and priority target at risk of damage. (High offence, Low defence)
-[X] Burrowing- Use Processed mass to dig a small hidey-hole underneath your fort, and wait it out until people actually qualified to deal with this get here, or the LLDs and Process units deal with it. (Immediate, removes sysadmin and priority target from the battlefield- no longer able to personally affect outcome of battle.)
    [X] Teach Process Nonlethal Takedowns
[X] Creeps- Pros: Higher-power weapons, more physical weight for restraint, more durable. Cons: Present a larger target, slower, less numerous.
[X] Suppressing Fire- use manufactured variable-wavelength lasers to irritate skin, ignite clothing, and create minor plasma explosions where possible, driving assailants behind cover and keeping them there, or incapacitating them. (Equal offence/defence)
[X] Personal Transport- Processed matter will be used to enable mobility of preliminary defences, allowing sysadmin and priority target to escape safely. (2 rounds of combat- sacrifices defence and offence in final round before manufacture, but almost guarantees an escape)

-[X] Defence Augmentation- sacrifice LLDs in order to strengthen defences, leaving only Transistor and manufactured Process units for offensive actions- guarantees sysadmin and priority target safety against the current level of aggression- escalation may negate benefits. (High defence, Low offence)
-[X] Imprisonment- Modify long-range cannon plans for short-range Processed mass dispersal, which will then reconnect in large masses around assailants.

Hi. This has effectively destroyed all productive time for the last 36-ish hours. Looking forward to the next update.

And uh shouldn't changing their color be very easy for Cells to do?

Lastly, I can already see the cryptic "If they're called 'Cells', then what is the body they make up of?" line from someone like Ozpin or Salem.

If thy can hange color schem then I suggest changing. White, black, and red are Grimm colors.

Gold, silver, blue, green violet are probably better.

Personally I like gold eyes on a silver or blue body's with highlights of the color not used for main.

They're primarily white, with black highlights, and red lenses. They also have a distinct artificial styling. So while not impossible for people to jump to conclusions, it's rather unlikely, at least this early on.

Well o was thinking we set up our Process to look like the opposite or inverse of the Grimm.

Say black high lights on a white body with blue eyes.

Or gold highlights and eyes on a deep blue/purple.

Really I'm just saying this cause as good as the red on white looks, I think gold eyes and highlights are even more striking, especially on a dark color.

But gold eyes! Really, I'm just writing because since he said we could change appearance I really want those gold eyes. And gold looks best against a darker color, say a deep blue or purple.

I'm imagining deep blue/violet/indigo cells with Golden highlights and it just works better then red in white.

Red on white implies a Portal/Glados style sterile coldness that I don't like for our Process, even if no one in Remnant would get that reference.

Any dark colors for the main body would be bad just because whenever lighting is poor we'd have people actually confuse them with Grimm. The current colors should very clearly prevent most cases of misidentification, while also not being so friendly as to invite strangers to approach without consent.

Ok ok. Guys, how about red, blue and gold.

Gold main with red or blue highlights. And then blue or gold eyes, maybe one color with flecks of another throughout?

Maybe more of a teal then a blue, to keep it light.

The Transistors colors.

How about we stick with the original colors? You seem to be the only one clamoring for a new paint job.

Honestly, if anything should change it is the eyes of Jaune so he can have red eyes to a la Camarata. Say what you will about their personality, they had style :V

Really, I half expect the Cells to naturally start tuning their highlights and eyes to match their owner's colour schemes whenever Jaune passes them on after a while.

What this means for the process as a whole I'm not totally sure... But I'm sure it'll be entertaining :p.

I mean, would the Spine be quite as imposing if it was baby pink :D
