New Good Seed and Omake Rule Updates
Good Seed and Omake Spreadsheet Rules:

Firstly, if you have questions about Good Seeds and the like please read here. If that doesn't answer your question please ping me in thread, or on Discord.

If you write a new Good Seed, or write an omake, please update the spreadsheet if you have access.

If you do not have access, please ping a collaborator (Swordomatic, Alectai, Quest, TehChron, Insane-Not-Crazy, Humbaba, ReaderOfFate, Kaboomatic, no., BungieONI) letting them know what you want and they will update the spreadsheet here. To gain access, you will need a gmail account of some kind. Throwaway emails are fine (I'm using one for the spreadsheet), but to gain access it's as simple as sending me either your email via PM, via DM in Discord, or just in Discord's #spreadsheet-requests channel.

This is mandatory. If a Good Seed does not record their omake by pinging collabs (or just requesting access and editing things themselves - this is the preferred option), I won't give out awards. If a new Good Seed is not recorded here, they won't advance. By doing this it makes the whole thing manageable for me - it's gotten pretty unwieldy!

Omake Writer Instructions:

There are four fields you need to fill out.

Omake Link, which is just a link to your first omake for the turn. This makes it easier for me to read them as I do the update - without this it's tough to know off the bat which omake were written this turn, and to properly

Requested Bonus, which is your requested bonus for your omake. You can leave it up to me if you like. You can see more info in the Good Seed infopost here.

Cultivation Aims. For those following unorthodox paths - higher than 9th Heavenstage or later than 7th Dao Pillar paths. Please put in what you are aiming for before you break through. I have left it as 'default'. If you do not edit it, I'll go with that.

Turn Notes - Do you want to do something specific? Enter a Secret Realm? Help the Clan out in some way? If you have something specific you want to accomplish on this turn, put it in turn notes so I can adjust your Fate around it.

All other fields are for QM use to record character information to properly run the flow of the game.

THE GOOD SEED INDEX
Because sorting through the Sidestory index is a pain
Achille Adelphos by Ninjastar - Great-grandson of the Protostrator by blood but unremarkable otherwise by lineage, Achille lacks the ability to understand people but has an innate, almost supernatural understanding of Arrays. Inspired after seeing the majesty of the Glass Spear Array, sparking his resolve.
Status: Still 10th Heavenstage, 60 years from progress. One of the Indomitable Thirteen, whose arrays were key to the hold at Pleuron - injured himself to achieve that. Obtained a Stone Fiddle from the battlefield - which puts those who listen it into an unstoppable dance.
Amaranth Castellanos by ReaderOfFate - Born with pitifully weak Blood of Bronze, it was instead proven to be a variant that increased in power as the wielder took lives. Struggles with his morality and impulses, trying to balance his resolve against the urges given by his power.
Status: Achieved 10th Heavenstage, 80 years from a breakthrough. Healed himself in the eve of the trials, but instantly paid the ultimate price by lighting his own dantian alight, using his bloodline as fuel to enable his prowess at Pleuron. Another of the Indomitable Thirteen. Crippled.
Aretaphila Myia by TehChron - This young woman comes from a storied line of cultivators with a bloodline that makes them weaker than the norm, but a demeanor that loves physical endeavor. Aretaphila is no exception - and plans to use body cultivation to nurture her bloodline's ability to transmit and transform sound into Qi to its maximum.
Status: Remained at 10th Heavenstage and is around 40 years from advancing, but her remarkable fortune at the Yuan Secret Realm more than made up for it. Was key to the hold at Pleuron, her amplified singing invigorating the defenders and hampering the attackers until her throat bled - but for more than long enough. Indomitable has always been a word to describe Aretaphila - and she just might have found twelve more to match her.
Aurelius Mancinus by jjffjhjf - A son of architects thoroughly disillusioned, he found his calling when he realized he had the blood of the clan, seeing the bloodline as the power keeping the clan's architecture together. Decided to focus on bloodline research - especially the Blood of Bronze.
Status: Was immediately hunted down in the trials, but befriended a Ten Soul Dragonfly which left him a wing. Said wing later saved him when his enemies finally caught up to him - he managed to escape without a crippling, but nonetheless was wounded and remains at the 1st Heavenstage.
Diogenes Aparámillos by The Fourth Monado - Having been born to an unremarkable lineage with content parents, Diogenes awakened the long-lost power of a Wandering Cultivator ancestor - allowing him to armor himself in living metal. Wants to turn his laughingstock of a family name into something worth respecting.
Status: Remained at the 9th Heavenstage with a mere 20 years from progress. Dedicated himself fully to the hold at Pleuron - but in his haste, almost blew the critical moment due to being hasty in his final strike. Owes his life to the Ninth Price. Another of the Indomitable Thirteen.
Eirene of Nowhere by Liliet - Bronze-blooded, yes, but of unknown parentage, Eirene spent most of her early life with a carnival. Sees her chance to become a cultivator as both a point of pride and a burden she does not know if she wants.
Status: The young prodigy continued shattering through records by leapfrogging to the 10th heavenstage with 80 years from further progress. Her meteoric rise caught the eye of many of her seniors - and thus, Eirene proved herself another of the Indomitable Thirteen with her illusions being key to the hold at Pleuron.
Ferenike by BungieONI - A girl hailing from the area where Child Corpse Gulper fell, who carried the corpse of a Legionnaire to the outpost. Having been saved by wandering cultivators, Ferenike joined the Legions of the Optimatoi to honor a fallen companion.
Status: Advanced to the 10th Heavenstage after seizing a Dark Sin Mango from a fallen enemy. Her command of a makeshift legion at Pleuron covered her in something close to glory, but that smelt more like soot and grime. Has established a drinking friendship with Tasos Basilakes and the Ninth Prince afterwards. Truly one of the Indomitable Thirteen.
Magnus Centenius by LordEdric - A son of the clan who became inspired to pursue poisons after seeing a pitiful scorpion cripple his genius brother with one. Trying to refine the perfect poison techniques through monster breeding and Core Cultivation.
Status: Stayed at 10th Heavenstage and is 40 years from breakthrough at normal pace. Carried the Core-Destroying Poison inside his own body at Pleuron, ensuring its delivery at the cost of his hands. His sacrifice will be remembered as part of the acts of the Indomitable Thirteen.
Mograine by Leon12431 - Born from Golden Devil stock, Morgraine's bloodline mutated to the point of being borderline unrecognizable from the Blood of Bronze - and makes him Cultivate on completely different rules compared to anyone else.
Status: Proceeded to the 10th heavenstage with 80 years from progress - and obtained a life-saving treasure that he kept through the trials. During the fighting obtained a breakthrough in his art allowing him to challenge enemy dao with a single gaze - earning him the moniker of Death-Eyes. Rounds up the Indomitable Thirteen.
The Ninth Prince by Kaboomatic - A prince from across the sea, last of his family, with an afinity for snakes. Was exiled by a Cultivator Dynasty after his line was exterminated. Snake tamer, but with strong beliefs of right and responsibility which lead him to pursue a Dao of Protection instead.
Status: The Qiguai Secret Realm gave little bounty but fueled proper cultivation, raising The Ninth Prince to 11th heavenstage with only 20 years of further progress. Was crippled for his efforts at Pleuron - where he saved Diogenes Aparamillos from death as well. Another of the Indomitable Thirteen, may their legend forever be remembered.
Peta Condos and Wajo by Mr. Prokosch - A girl, lost during the 100 Year Trial, which found an unlikely ally in a Spirit Bear. They now cultivate together, their bond growing stronger with every passing day - in preparation to the day they have to face Heaven's cruelty again, together this time.
Status: Stagnated at the 9th Heavenstage with 40 years to progress, after the injuries obtained at Pleuron during the Stand at the Gate. Unified in the resolve that Heaven Needs A Bear. Another of the Indomitable Thirteen - or should it be Fourteen, if we count the bear?
Rina Callista by Alectai - A premature birth of one of the most influential lineages in the Clan, Rina's frailty was expected to stunt her potential - but she instead revealed affinity to the Blood of Bronze unrivaled in centuries, and has become a bit of a golden egg in the eyes of both her family and the clan. She's still not sure what to think about it all.
Status: The one who assembled the group that would become the Indomitable Thirteen, Rina Callista advanced to the 12th heavenstage with 60 years between her and the coveted 13th, thanks to an auspicious visit to the Yuan Secret Realm. Her presence at Pleuron, leading from the front, was key to every stage of the miracle. First, perhaps, of the Indomitable Thirteen, Unrivaled Beneath Heaven.
Tasos Basilakes by Zephias - An archer from what was once a proud family of cultivators, which had been reduced to mere scouts and soldiers in current times. The discovery of his ancestor's bow sent Tasos from a fate of wasted potential into a quest to become worthy of it - and restore his family name in the process.
Status: The third of the Yuan Secret Realm visitors, Tasos's fortune there did not progress his cultivation but was second only to Aretaphila's. It was the treasures obtained at Yuan and his unique skillset which allowed him to hold the line once the Core-Destroying Poison was delivered at Pleuron, his rain of arrows holding the invaders back while his companions retreated. Came out of the ordeal exhausted and hurt, but overall unharmed - another of the Indomitable Thirteen, Unrivaled Beneath Heaven.
Wei Feng by Humbaba - Raised poor in a Turtle World village and awakened by a Flood Dragon cultivator, Wei landed at the Golden Devils' doorstep after witnessing Heaven's injustice firsthand. Anger burns hot and simmers long. Has strong ties to the mortals of the world.
Status: Reached 10th Heavenstage, is a century from breakthrough at standard pace. Obtained a False Phoenix Blood Drop from Qiguai - which was the key to his valiant protection of Magnus during the final rush at Pleuron. His meridians now lay shattered - but he remains one of the Indomitable Thirteen nonetheless.
Xiao Yi by Mochinator - Son of a Golden Devil Clansman that lived outside clan lands, made his way to the clan after a powerful Beast slayed his own. Has the unique ability to internalize characteristics of Clan Formations into his own body.
Status: The sacrifice of Xiao Yi at Pleuron is a tale not easily forgotten - the young man combined all his treasures into the Ancient Tiger-Demon Parasitic Vine Ji, which he wielded to win seven duels in seven days to earn time for his companions at Pleuron. At the final duel, sacrificed his own body to fuse with the treasure - allowing it to consume his own body as fuel for the cataclysmic attack that followed. Is kept alive now only by the corpses the parasite vines consume - perhaps the old Xiao Yi is gone. He remains one of the Indomitable Thirteen - forever in clan memory.

Minervina Barda by Katana1515 - Cultivator from a long-defunct lineage of poisoners that had fallen out of favour, tempered to death by her experiences. Fueled by vengeance, dangerous to cross, and remarkably capable of cutting stronger opponents down to size.
Status: Although not officially one of the Thirteen, it was Minervina who brewed the Core-Destroying Poison by boiling it within her own dantian. Has achieved the second pillar of Foundation Building - but the ordeal cost her very life and has left her Qi turned into poison, preventing her from cultivating. Crippled - but nonetheless Unrivaled Beneath Heaven.
Alastor Cheimos by Garrison - The inheritor of a lost Golden Devils bloodline that was the result of an insane cultivator's experiments to strengthen the bloodline, Alastor carries the Blood of Silver that trades the durability and fighting power of the Bronze for healing and purification abilities.
Status: 1st Heavenstage, a total rook.
Ambrus Nike by DangerKitty - The son of a merchant who fell behind on cultivating due to lack of potential until he awakened to a soul stealing bloodline. Currently a bandit hunter with hopes to develop a way to mimic his unique soul-stealing ability to enable others to break through their natural limitations.
Status: Remained 9th Heavenstage, about 40 years from breakthrough. Was sent to guard caravans, which he did. Unremarkable growth.
Anastasia Outi by AlphaDelta - Born to nobodies, of the blood of Outi which is quite literally the blood of nothingness or nobody, Anastasia is a talented seed with nothing else going for her - except her selflessness, and the shared destiny of her family which fates her to die.
Status: Discovered a Silver Jade-Stone during the trials, an item she didn't understand but that shattered to save her from death at the last moment. Still took some wounds - but managed to get some progress in her cultivation, advancing to the 3rd Heavenstage.
Antonius Emmanuel Eleanora by Quest - Son of a couple that never expected to marry, much less have a child, Antonius was raised to remain mortal - but a twist of fate cursed him with a special Bronze which would calcify his skin into metal, giving him great power but poisoning him. Without other alternatives, a resolute Antonius became a cultivator swearing to burn brighter - no, to burn the brightest.
Status: Choosing to rush to Yuan as soon as he could, Antonius found a trove of treasure which had belonged to a Nascent Soul, allowing him to rapidly increase his power (+7 Impact) and drastically jump up in cultivation, putting him in the 10th Heavenstage with 60 years to progress. However, on attempting to leave he almost perished - the remaining power from a previous encounter kept him alive just barely, and he is now Lightly Wounded.
Aristoteles "Aris" Kalokaghatos by Siual - A narcissistic megalomaniac with a dream to make his clan the greatest of all, and enough charisma to convince others he might just make it so. Fights with a flying sword, and is particularly loud when screaming orders or rousing others in battle.
Status: Managed to expel the poison that was crippling him with the help of a Seductive Iron Bowl, which he had to take from a mortal that considered the bowl his wife and was then forced to also surrender it to the clan when he realized he was falling for the bowl himself. Led his troups to victory against a 5th Sea attack, recovering a Death-Horn of Three Sorrows (+4 Impact). Remains at 9th Heavenstage, 20 years from progress.
Castor Tyndaridae by TheDuke - Fully committed to the pursuit of Arrays, this young Mechanikos-hopeful has an unique relationship with his automaton companion Pollux - which he keeps hidden at all cost.
Status: Healed from his injuries and, while others fought, he built arrays. Wasn't lucky, but his diligence allowed him to make up from his previous hubris and he advanced all the way to the 6th Heavenstage.
Chen Rong by Bulwark - Unknown, and with revenge in his lips after his family was torn apart by bandits, a soldier recognized Rong's cultivation talent and brought him into the clan. Has an unknown bloodline which gives him the ability to manipulate his own shadow into a weapon, a shroud or an ally.
Status: Was caught and tortured by 5th Sea cultivators who toyed with him - until an unlucky strike crippled him by shattering his meridians. Unsure if now killing him would break their tokens, the 5th Sea cultivators left him alive. Remains at 1st Heavenstage.
Chrysanthos Krimta by Raron - Nicknamed 'The Golden Flower' by his family, the minor merchant Krimta line, Chrysanthos represents the best talent that the line has produced in near-millennia - and is currently in an apprenticeship to train him to relevance and keep him safe.
Status: Being a merchant is difficult in times of the Trials. Spent a majority of his resources on talismans and protection, but they proved insufficient and an enemy cultivator shattered his legs. Was evacuated to Pleuron before more could happen. Remains at the 5th Heavenstage, and is Wounded.
Constans Herculius by DOOMPOTATO - Coming from a family of good soldiers but not great cultivators, Constans obtained a demonic hammer and anvil which allow him to absorb part of the Dao-Heart of those he slays, strengthening his own.
Status: His special tools and new Dao were a lure for his ego, and he attempted to chase down enemy cultivators with his flight - making himself a target. The counterattack by Fifth Sea cultivators almost killed him - it was only by sacrificing his Bronze Effigy that he survived, badly wounded. Remains at the 3rd Heavenstage.
Daedalus Khimaira by Marlin - Raised by a family of bakers, Daedalus would have been content to remain in the kitchens. In truth, he's the result of a long-lost failed eugenics process that left him just as cursed as other Golden Devils, but without a hint of Bronze - and yet, he may unlock different bloodline paths instead.
Status: Was surrounded by Fifth Sea cultivators during the trials, but buried himself in the sands to escape - sands near the urinating ground of a Spirit Severing beast sent to protect a group of 5th Sea cultivators. Forced to drink from the tainted pool, the urine-infused water carried some of the power of the beast and gave him a leap in power (+2 impact) and raising him to the 9th Heavenstage with 40 years to progress.
Damien Silver by Wing101 - A lighthearted man who puts little attention to thing that don't matter to him - but can be frighteningly determined about his passions. Obsessed with swords and swordsmanship, with his skill with the blade offsetting his middling cultivation ability.
Status: Still at 8th Heavenstage. His focus on swordsmanship led him to engage enemy swordmasters exclusively, and eventually he bit off more than he could chew. Managed to escape with his life, but is now Badly Wounded.
Demetrius Ceres by Nordlending - Young villager who is probably way in over his head after becoming a cultivator to escape from his bossy grandmother. Has a grudge against the natural world after living shrubbery slayed his family - and uses a fire-breathing statue head as a tool and weapon.
Status: Advanced to the 10th Heavenstage and spent his time saving juniors, to the point of shattering a cave pass with one great strike of his axe, earning time for juniors to deploy a formation and ensuring his own escape.
Diomedes Cestus by Moon-Llama - Son of a Turtle World wanderer or noble, he joined the legions after discovering his own talent for cultivation.
Status: Saved a tortured, mindless junior that had been left alive after a strike shattered his meridian - and afterwards went out to hunt down the culprits and shattered their tokens. During his quest, found an Eight-Armed Jade Monkey from the Fifth Sea who was here to protect his quarry - and from the beast's master, the way to refine an Eight-Step Jade Pill that allowed him to jump to the 10th Heavenstage.
Dmitry Kascheev by Kalugin - Son of a talisman maker who has big dreams of immortality and tends to avoid risks as much as he can.
Status: Managed to avoid the dangers of the Trials and found a well of pure Spirit Water, raising him to the 9th Heavenstage.
Fierce Fang by NotteBoy97 - A rencarnation with no memory of his past life, a fierce, untamed demeanor and determination tempered by the atrocities of the 100 Year Trial. Often chafes with Golden Devil philosophy and the clan's approach to combat and cultivation.
Status: His acceptance of his new stage and the transformation from karp-man to dragon-man earned him great insight, allowing him to raise to the 9th Heavenstage. Found a droplet of diluted dragon blood - but wisely chose not to try and immediately integrate it into himself and instead used it to boost his cultivation. The boost raised him to the 9th Heavenstage - and due to timing just at the start of the trials, allowed him to bypass them entirely.
Hektor Sarantapechos by Enigma - Son of an Elder and nephew to another, Hektor was born to riches and his talent and mettle were tempered by the 100 Year Trial. Through his ordeal, he developed his unique combat philosophy - one which carries the 'strongest spear' on one hand, and the 'strongest shield' in the other.
Status: Advanced to Mid Formation Building, and was key to the hold of Waycastle Sarantapechos which he held for a full year once Legion structure collapsed into the chaos of the Trials. Was lightly injured for his efforts - but the gain more than offset the wound.
Jiang Chrysanthos by RyubosJ - The inheritor of two powerful bloodlines, they combined in Jiang to form the Flowing River of Bronze bloodline - a more flexible Blood of Bronze that also grants an affinity towards water Qi. He was born just young enough to remember the trials - and dreams of following the footsteps of the indomitable thirteen.
Status: 1st Heavenstage, a total rook.
Juturna Cerintha by Olivebirdy - Pacifist following the path her father set, which pursues the Dao of Peace. Determined to show that pursuing peace is a valid avenue in this world of conflict.
Status: Reached 7th Heavenstage. Following her Dao of Peace, she refused to fight - either for herself or her companions. Instead during the trials she meditated and did her best to avoid all conflict - and through the struggle developed a unique Sutra allowing her to impose her will upon the world, declaring that what is to be cut shall be cut.
Keiros Cole Emendator by FixerUpper - Born with a 'crooked' mind, this scion of the expansive and well-respected Emendator family was gifted with prodigious intelligence. Resentful of those he perceived as intellectually inferior, his view of the world changed after a failed kidnapping. Now, he throws himself into cultivation with a cry of 'never again' - and has struggled to get better at connecting with others.
Status: Spent his time assisting those who had entered the Qiguai Secret Realm, and found a Compass of Fated Fortune that saved his life and that of 10 others when the dangers of Qiguai finally caught up to them. Managed to navigate out using the compass and barely prevent death - but is now Badly Wounded and remains at the 6th Heavenstage.
Lihua Kokinos by Veekie - Daughter of a smith and a wanderer, this cultivator's bloodline mutated to save her from poison and combined the Bronze Bloodline of the clan with the Phoenix Bloodline of her mother to turn her into a being of living metal.
Status: Her unique physiology and tireless energy made Lihua a valuable actor during the Trials, put in charge of maintaining and defending supply lines. Eventually, though, the challenges posed by enemy hunters became too much - and Lihua was grievously injured and only survived by the happenstance of finding a cave filled with the metal she needed to rebuild her body - but is now Crippled. Remains at 9th Heavenstage.
Lin Fan by Twisted Mind - Soul cultivation seed specializing in demonic tunes, who obtained most of his power after the despair of the world's reality caused him to attempt suicide - a situation which auspiciously landed him in the tutelage of the demonic tune master Hellpoemer.
Status: Cornered by a Young Master and his Dao Protectors, Lin just barely survived through luck - the arrow nicked his artery but did not pierce it, which meant he could seal it with his Congealed Blood Stone. He played dead and escaped, sure he would die - but his pursuers were drawn away to Pleuron as reinforcement and he managed to endure the Trials. Remains at 8th Heavenstage and is Wounded.
"Matthaios Outi" by BlueHelix - Utterly bereft of luck due to a stronger manifestation of the clan's curse, Matthaios is a living furnace who can purify any impure material he takes through the sheer pressure of his karma, refining into their best form.
Status: Rose to the 7th Heavenstage during the trials, his meteoric advancement seemingy led by his need to raise to the level of Heaven's constant attempts to kill him. Would have perished had it not been for his discorvery of the Five-Elements Disharmony Curse (+8 Impact) which further fueled his curpse consumption - instead came out unharmed and stronger than ever.
Mildgyð Galene by shortnmad - A mortal alchemist that had achieved mastery of his craft (for a mortal), an experiment exploded in his face and when he woke up, he had awakened to the 1st Heavenstage of Qi Condensation. Looking to see what further mastery this new path will bring.
Status: Spent most of his time at the frontlines of Waycastles Thrake and Acrocorinth, refining his medicinal and alchemical skills (+1 Impact). Was injured when the enemy bombed an apothecary and thus made no progress, remaining at 1st Heavenstage - but for a 1st Heavenstage Junior in the trials survival is reward enough, and he is now ready to kick his alchemist to higher gears.
Orphanos by SocsoD - This cultivator has no memory of a family, and instead found refuge in music. Finding the limits of worldly sound too limiting, Orphanos instead decided to turn his own soul into the greatest instrument beneath the Heavens.
Status: 1st Heavenstage, a total rook.
Phaedo Dougenis by FixerUpper - One of the few individuals that was saved by Keiros Cole Emendator - only he and the others can remember their saviour, and due to a quirk of what happened, Phaedo and the others share a fate. When one succeeds, all succeed - when one fails, all fail.
Status: 1st Heavenstage, a total rook.
Savvas Nicolidis by Shard - Son of an unremarkable cultivator, Savvas is an intellectual genius with a fascination for applying research methodology and the scientific process to Qi Cultivation.
Status: Advanced to the 9th Heavenstage with 40 years to progress. His previous experience gave him knowledge of his limits, allowing Savvas to pick off injured Hunters along the edges of battle. Was caught once - and spent his Qi-Cloaking Oil to escape (-1 Impact). Once fighting was over, was tricked to purchase a so-called "Muyi Fruit" by a merchant - which was instead a False-Death Apple (+1 Impact).
Simon Euaerizo by Sol Zagato - Born to a Battle Blood Cannibal woman, Simon was once Qirong and born into the cycle of endless violence that is the Battle Blood Cannibal sect - but never took the first step into the Blood Path. One night, his mother arrived on death's doorstep - and sent Qirong to hide north, revealing him as the son of a Xia Kingdom cultivator under the Golden Devils. He left his past and name behind - and took his first step towards the future.
Status: 1st Heavenstage, a total rook.
Shennong by Uber_Fail_Dinesh - The only child of a farmer from King's Garden who saw him as a burden and regularly beat him. Discovered a plant rich in spirit power, which he nurtured in hope of earning his father's favour - but instead the father tried to kill him. Escaping, Shennong swore he would not trust again and wandered for a year until stumbling upon the clan and discovering he was not a nowbody - but a descendant of a line thougth dead.
Status: Advanced to 2nd Heavenstage. Sneaked into enemy camp and stole the Heart-Guarding Talisman (LST) from a Core Formation Hunter. Emboldened, he fought from stealth the rest of the Trials, taking minor wounds but otherwise remaining effective and safe through the ordeal.
Shiro by RebelYell - There are many cultivators in this world - but Shiro is unique. A sentient, twisted white mushroom, the Trials inspired Shiro to become a clan cultivator out of the belief that they deserved a chance to recover from the wounds inflicted during the trials.
Status: 1st Heavenstage, a total rook.
Syntyche Theophylaktos by Tarro - Returning to the long-lost background of the Theophylaktos family as playwrights and actors instead of spies and assassins, Syntyche's Liquid Bronze Bloodline allows her to cast herself into whatever mold she needs - from the barbarian warrior to the cultured noble to the base seductress.
Status: Managed to survive the trials by impersonating a Hunter, remaining hidden until the last second. She also stole a number of treasures, some fueling her cultivation while others, like the Drifting Sands Elegy, would safeguard her life and the final one, the Hungering Knife, increased her effectiveness as an agent (+2 Impact). Advanced to 5th Heavenstage.
Tharros Ateleioti by Bloodalchemy - Tharros is from a mortal family that was killed by Blood Path cultivators taking advantage of the Clans weakness after the Trials. He swore an Oath before Heaven to dedicate his life to protecting people from the senseless evil and destruction caused by Blood Path users. (He's Link).
Status: 1st Heavenstage, a total rook.
Theron Strophios by Neshuakadal - This swordsman was once destined for a farmer's life, but after a cultivator murdered his parents, resolved to never be in a position where his incapability to act would lead to those he knows coming to harm and thus began the journey of a cultivator.
Status: Chose to face the trials head-on - bold, for a 1st Heavenstage junior. Was wounded - but by pushing past his limits, he pumped additional Qi through his meridians which allowed him to take down a 3rd Heavenstage enemy with a burst of speed. The damage to his Meridians gave him a light wound, preventing him from progressing from the 1st Heavenstage - but the skill could be refined for his Sword Intent (+1 Impact).
Ulysses Nemo by wrecksalot - Born out of wedlock to a clan woman, Ulysses came down with a deadly illness at age 10. By luck, a clan doctor was passing through the town - and noticed his latent Bronze during treatment. The doctor took Ulysses to the clan - where the young man would dedicate himself to pillcraft.
Status: 1st Heavenstage, a total rook.
Vitruvian Anasc by Academia Nut - The hectic pace of Trials preparation was a staple of Vitruvian's childhood - and instilled in him a wonder for the arts of cultivation. Reading on the history of the Third Sea, he concluded it is crippled and wants to revitalize it - and perhaps also the corpse of the third turtle child as well.
Status: 1st Heavenstage, a total rook.
Xiuying Ten Yiang by shibosho - This daughter of a minor noble proved her resolve to a cultivator from outside the realm by shaving her head with an impossibly rusty blade - at great harm. Status: 1st Heavenstage, a total rook.
Yan by uri - A man of so humble origins, he only carries a single name. Auspiciously survived a Battle Blood Cannibal Sect raid on his village, and has sworn revenge on them. Has the unique ability to take out loans on his luck, increasing his fortune at the cost of repaying it with misfortune at a later moment.
Status: Lost Cultivation and fell to 10th Heavenstage due to his injuries - but is no longer crippled, only badly wounded. Found a Scorpion Plate Armour in the Yuan Clan Secret Realm which protected him and ensured his survival in the Trials - although the armor was destroyed in the process.
Zeno Angelus by Juugo - Son of two cultivators set upon the path right after the trials, once his parents had left on a journey of self-discovery. His mother's last teaching was that to defy heaven was to love under it - because love permeates all of creation.
Status: 1st Heavenstage, a total rook.
Alex and Ajax by Fictionfan - A pair of twins who are more like one soul in two bodies, with one having a body of tin and the other a body of copper. They are so close, as to share cultivation and Dao.
Status: As a 1st Heavenstage junior, Alex/Ajax was assigned to bandit-hunting and managed to avoid the dangers of most of the trials. Took a light wound for their effort, and advanced to the 2nd Heavenstage.
Aurelia Xu by Empere - A descendant of a Turtle World royal lineage who now serves the Golden Devils as a way to repay the clan for saving her ancestors centuries before. Blessed with the ability to see through illusion, and has made the Golden Devils' core beliefs her own.
Status: Remains at 5th Heavenstage. Her wound did not stop her from helping, and she managed to drive away a Fifth Sea cultivator in the 8th Heavenstage from her bunker at the cost of further injury. Is now Badly Wounded.
Festus Sarantpechos by Mastigos - At times rather hard to deal with due to his bluntness, this son of the prestigious Sarantpechos line feels most at home with a hammer in hand and a blazing furnace behind him. Focused on cultivating as a tool to allow him to craft increasingly more legendary equipment.
Status: The Heart-Spilling-Herb he found allowed him to hit incredible progress, raising him to the 9th Heavenstage. However, during the trials, was chased down and almost crippled - only escaping due to his newly-forged bile bomb. Was still Wounded for his efforts.
Nicovas Ceruleus by Rockeye - A diligent and detail-oriented son of a bureaucrat, with a tendency to avoid risk and a penchant to play the system against itself by seeing the bureaucratic process as a tool instead of a barrier. Has the remarkable ability of manifesting a mental space and memory so detailed as to be near-tangible.
Status: Remains the 8th Heavenstage. Thought his skills were enough to bunker up and ride out the Trials. Was found by enemies - and survived only due to the two-part sacrifice of Ambrus Nike, who first gave him supplies and then died leading a lesser prince and his horde of elephants away from Nicovas. Wounded - both in body and in spirit, after the sacrifice of his newfound friend.
Su Cheng by Atrophy - The scion of the fallen Su clan which was destroyed by a Great Circle Foundation Building poison master, has promised to rebuild his family's glory after obtaining a secret cultivation method in return of swearing to oppose the Battle Blood Cannibals for as long as either he or them yet live.
Status: Advanced to the 3rd Heavenstage. In unlucky fashion, his single-minded dedication to fight the Blood Cannibals was at odds with the clan's peace with them during the current times. With little important missions, progressed slowly due to lack of CP.
Sun Yi by exerty - A goatman (goat head, human body) from the Sandstorm Horn Tribe, this young cultivator has the backing of his tribe's elders and is out to prove that his race can too be great, despite the distrust and segregation they suffer in some places.
Status: 1st Heavenstage, a total rook.
Tie Jin by The Grey Mage - A descendant of a smith line with the Blood of Bronze, he's fascinated with his bloodline's namesake metal and other metals. Spends all of his free time pouring over forging and metallurgy. Surprisingly willing to change his mind and try new things.
Status: Sealed himself in his lab, obsessing over his poor performance in the Devil Bee War. After Pleuron, had a breakthrough in the understanding on his Metal Qi - allowing him to rise to the 9th Heavenstage.
Chelios Apion by Kreen Warrior - This otherwise unremarkable fellow was brimming with curiosity, but his path was to be one of an unimportant foot soldier until he met a pill forger that set him on the path of Qi Medicine research. His path was cut short when a Devil Bee Sect ambushed him while gathering herbs, taking his head as a prize.
Status: Dead as of turn 2 Seed Update - Had reached 3rd Heavenstage.
Augustus Servius by Mastigos - Crippled before birth by misguided attempts to revive a dying bloodline, Augustus had no Meridians and Acupoints and thus could not cultivate properly. Could store endless amounts of Qi - making him functionally a living Spirit Stone. Perished in the Uncast Molds, buying time for Acis Drivas to escape a Cannibal opponent.
Status: Dead as of turn 3 Seed Update - Had reached 7th Heavenstage at peak, was 5th Heavenstage at time of death.
Acis Drivas by Anders - Son of array carvers without a talent for art, instead found he had an eye for herb gathering. Shy and rather forgettable, but was forced to join the Legions out of clan responsibility. Really only wants to gather herbs. Died after an ambush from a Devil Bee raider.
Status: Dead as of turn 4 Seed Updates - had reached 4th Heavenstage.
Ilias Barallis by Molyneux - A large man with clan blood but the look of a Turtle World native, he never took to the rigidity expected of a body cultivator. Surprisingly charismatic and deft with music, his Turtle World appearance makes him uniquely suited as a spy.
Status: Dead as of turn 5 Trials - Had reached 5th Heavenstage.
Telios Treces by Leon12431 - A youth raised in the spectre of the 100 Year Trial, the constant dread tempered Telios and steered his curiosity towards an utilitarian bent, allowing him to use his observation ability to transform into an effective technique copycat - to the point of being able to mix techniques. Hunted down and tortured to death by Devil Bees after the disastrous battle where the Elder of War was slain.
Status: Dead as of turn 4 Seed Update - had reached 9th Heavenstage.
Zhousi Dun by Superdion - Former Rotting Tree villager, was saved by a Golden Devil member after an attack, which left him a levitating shield - and started his cultivation journey, by taking Zhousi as an apprentice years later. The previous crippling proved too much, and Zhouzi's meridians were shattered completely during a duel of honour and the follow-up slayed the now-mortal Zhousi with ease.
Status: Dead as of turn 4 Seed Update - had reached 5th Heavenstage.

Sorting through threadmarks was a pain so I did this. It'll get better formatting and made to look more organized tomorrow when it's not midnight. Take this as a TL: DR index of all the Good Seeds - the links go to their Reader Mode character sheet, and thus should allow one to read a specific story in order as well as keep updated as more omake are written.

Xiao Yi 7 - [ How a Demonic Cultivator stops Bandits ]
Xiao Yi [ How a Demonic Cultivator stops Bandits ]

Liang Zhu let out a yawn as he looked over the ambush point he and his brothers had prepared on the Trade Road leading to the Organ Desert. Spotting a few of his junior brothers fidgeting and gulping down jars of their very limited amount of wine, he made a horrible scowl and quickly strolled over before they start touching his stash of 50 year old Green Asp wine.

" Look, everything will be fine. This senior here has done this before and have never run into any problems. The sheep that use this road may not be rich and fat, but the lean meat means that almost no one notable will be guarding them. Relax, even this lean meat is enough for our band to live the good life for years! "

Noticing that they still did not look that confident, Liang Zhu continued reassuring the juniors. " The Golden Devils might own this Trade Road but news from the Big Ear gang has it that they're busy waging a war against the Blood Cannibal lands. Any manpower they sent to patrol these lands would be of the 1st or 2nd Heavenstage, nothing I, your Big Brother of the 6th Heavenstage can't handle! "

" Even if they send a 6th Heavenstage Cultivator here instead of the Major Trade Roads, don't forget our band still has over five 4th heavenstage Cultivators as well as the Array Cannon we got last raid. Considering the amount of Qi we been storing within the cannon, it should be able to launch a 8th heavenstage blast. "

As the faces of his brothers begun to lighten up, a trace of movement caught Liang Zhu's eye. Spotting what seemed to be an old peddler, he let out a sharp whistle gathering his brothers before him. " Alright! Looks like our first sheep is coming, Yang take 3 of the young ones with you and set up the cannon so that the old man can see it. Rest of you, with me. Lets go, i'll treat you lot to wine when we head to town! "

Heading towards the prepared location, Liang Zhu position his brothers so that the 4 remaining 4th heavenstage cultivators loomed next to him as he stood in the center of the Trade Road with his Sabre resting on his shoulder, the remaining bandits spreading out to the sides of the road ready to block off all avenues of escape.

" Who who are you lot ? This is a Golden Devil Trade Road and i know that they only collects tolls at the cities they build for their Trade Roads! " Grinning widely at the wavering tone of the peddler's words, Liang Zhu strolled casually towards the old man

" Come now Old Master, the Golden Devils are busy granting Heaven's Justice on the Blood Cannibals. As such we took it on ourselves to collect the tolls for them. Have no worries that we will deliver it to them! It's just that with the War, we'll need you to pay 5 times the usual rates. The War calls for sacrifices from all of us, be assured that the Heavens will bless you for this. "

" Five Times! That's Robbery! If i pay that amount i'll be ruined! I won't be able to make back the money i spent. "

Getting annoyed at the Old Peddler's refusal, Liang Zhu grabbed the old man by the collar and forced his head up with his Sabre so that the Array Cannon and the glowing Qi within shined directly into the peddler's eyes.

" Listen Old Man. Give us the toll fee or my brothers will blast that wagon of yours to scrap and I will skin you as a warning for the next merchant that refuses to pay the toll! "

" This doesn't sound like something the Golden Devils will condone. " Turning towards the source of the sudden statement, Liang Zhu found himself confronted by a Man clad in worn and battered armor with a Ji Halberd clutched loosely in his right hand.

Hastily dropping the peddler, Liang Zhu backed away from the approaching Wanderer as he reached out with his Qi to sense the man's Cultivation level.

Can't feel any backlash from my wisp of Qi Sense and can't feel any sense of weight from the man's presence. Looks like this man's cultivation is about the same as mine, at the 6th Heavenstage. With our numbers and the Array Cannon, we should be able to handle him if he decides to fight.

" Haha, this Brother is mistaken. Our band of brothers here are not part of the Golden Devils, but we have the great fortune to live in their lands. And now in this time of war, it is to our great shock and horror that people who have been living in prosperity due to the Golden Devils are now shirking their obligations by taking advantage of the lack of active manpower to avoid the tolls by using the lesser known roads such as this. We felt that it's time to take a stand and choose to stake out these roads to gather the funds on behalf of the Golden Devils, less a minor amount for our trouble. "

Seeing that the Wandering Cultivator's face remain calm, Liang Zhu continued with his speech putting a shocked expression on his face.

" Merchants like this Old Man are the worst offenders! Do you know that the amount of tolls avoided by these merchants are enough to support a Core Formation Cultivator for a year !? "

" I see, in this case i should pay you as well ? To ensure that the Golden Devils are able to better prosecute the war. " So saying, the Wandering Cultivator reached into his money pouch, hand pulling out several low quality spirit stones.

" Oh no Brother! How can i take your money !? Judging by your attire and presence, i can tell that brother is a Wandering Cultivator who is used to battle. I'm sure that Brother is able to better contribute to the Golden Devils by joining them as a Auxiliary Member and using the stones for cultivation. The Heavens dictate that we each have our fate, i'm sure that Brother's fate is to participate in the war and earn Great Glory while mine is assist via the collection of funds. Let us each fulfill our roles, leave this merchant to me and i'll get my brothers to make way for you so you can past. "

" What if i refuse ? " The Wandering Cultivator's quiet refusal turned Liang Zhu's face black with anger. " In that case, brother will have to forgive us for being discourteous. "

So saying, Liang Zhu gestured at Yang, causing the Array Cannon to point directly at the Cultivator.

" Ah, i see. It was just a question Brother. " The Cultivator's quiet acquiescence made Liang Zhu's face brighten up again " Haha, i see Brother here is a joker! I'm glad to see you understand the situation! If we ever meet again, i'll make sure to buy you a drink and if you need anything from me, please feel free to ask! "

Turning his back to the Cultivator, Liang Zhu gesture to his band to make a path when he heard the Cultivator callout again " Actually, there is something i need from you. " Before he could react to the statement, Liang Zhu caught a blur of motion from the corner of his eye before he felt something cold caressed his neck.

The world seemed to suddenly spin and blur as he found himself staring at a decapitated body just as it dropped to it's knees. As his world gradually went dark, Liang Zhu heard the Cultivator finish his sentence as if it came from a great distance.

" I need your head as a gift... "

---------------------------------------------------

As the Bandit Leader's head landed with a thud, Xiao Yi flared his Cultivation, letting the full weight of his 9th Heavenstage presence hit the bandits.

" In fact, i think i need all of your heads. "

Xiao Yi's cold statement woke the Bandits from their stunned states, almost immediately the waiting Array Cannon discharged the Qi Blast within at Xiao Yi and the Old Peddler. Keeping his cool at the approaching blast, Xiao Yi drew his weapon back and twisted his Qi just so before flinging it froth with a brief murmur of

Pact Beast Art: Jade Qilin's Ghost Piercing Horn

The flying Ji flew in a flash of lightning before piercing through and dissipating the Qi blast with a loud thunderous boom as it shattered and broke into a swarm of fragments that tore and slice apart the gaping bandits standing behind the Array Cannon.

" GET HIM! HE LOST HIS WEAPON, THIS IS OUR CHANCE! "

Observing them as they charged at him, Xiao Yi focused on the most dangerous of the remaining bandits. The Four 4th Heavestage cultivators who quickly broke apart into two of them charging at him with their Sabres taking on a golden glow while the other two began chanting and pulling out mini tailsmans.

" BUY US 2 MINUTES, WE HAVE ARTIFACTS THAT CAN AT LEAST WOUND HIM ENOUGH SO THAT WE CAN FLEE IF YOU CAN BUY US 2 MINUTES! "

As the two Sabre Cultivators approached him, Xiao Yi counter-charged them with his forearms held high and ready to intercept.

Pact Beast Art: Jade Qilin's Impervious Scales

Xiao Yi's forearms quickly took on a green emerald glow and intercepted the twin sabres with a shower of Green and Golden sparks. As the panicked cultivators sabres golden glow shone brightly from all the Qi poured into their Sabre Art, Xiao Yi focused his Qi towards his forearms and with a slight grunt of effort made his Qi flash as it crushed the Sabre Art with ease.

Pact Beast Art: Jade Qilin's Mountain Crater Stomp, Duo version.

Before the two cultivators could recover from the backlash of their broken art, Xiao Yi landed two devastating palm strikes that blasted through them, leaving a palm sized hole through their bodies.

Pact Beast Art: Jade Qilin's Devil Suppressing Flurry

Ignoring the two corpses before him, Xiao Yi turned his attention at the two remaining 4th Heavenstage Cultivators, his hands blurring as he launched a flurry of strikes that culminated into a claw strike that tore open their throats with a splatter of blood.

As the remaining bandits attempt to flee, Xiao Yi channeled his Qi into his legs and vanished with a murmured

Pact Beast Art: Jade Qilin's Peak Crossing Strides

Before reappearing at the spot he left as all the bandits collapsed with a hole pierced through their heads. Walking towards the Old Peddler, Xiao Yi gave a deep bow and made his apologies to the Elder.

" I deeply apologize for this Elder. As a member of the Golden Devils, i apologize for the attempt to cheat you of your money. Although it was not sanctioned by us, their actions were possible only due to the fact that we did not devote sufficient members to stamp out such actions. I have some funds leftover here from my mission, please take them as recompense for what you've experienced. "

" Ho ho ho, you're a polite one aren't yah. You have anyway of proving who you said you are ? Ain't nothing about you that screams Golden Devils to me. Even those Arts don't seemed like something used by a Golden Devil. I've been working with the clan for years, and everything i saw about the Clan was Bronze. "

Reaching into his Pouch and bringing out his Clan Identify token, Xiao Yi showed it to the peddler before giving a brief explanation " As Elder can tell, due to how i look i was assigned to a mission away from Clan Territory and have now returned from the mission. To prevent information about who i am from leaking, i was informed to not use Arts and Techniques with ties to my Clan during my mission. Due to how long i've been on the mission, my instincts are still tuned to those Arts. "

" Hrmp, i guess that makes sense. Alright Sonny boy, come over here and give me a hand with my wagon! Looks like your battle scared away my two horses, going to need you to pull my wagon to the town near here! But before we head there, follow my directions. Since you lost your weapon protecting me and my goods, least i can do is show you a place to get some decent materials you can use for the replacement. "

Obediently nodding his head, Xiao Yi hitched himself to the wagon and followed the instructions of the Elder as they left the Trade Road and headed deeper into the mountains....

Whew, done! My Combat Scene challenge. Kinda of wondered if i went into too much detail....

Xiao Yi - . Rescued an old man who was secretly a Clan Foundation Building Expert acting as a weak old man while on a spying mission

I realized that the Foundation Building Expert was the one on a spying mission which had him disguised as a Old Man, but my first Read had me interpreting it as XIao Yi being the on on the spying mission and running into the old man. By then it was too late and the Plot bunny happened, so i decided to treat it as both were on spying missions.

I needed Xiao Yi to be on a spying mission so that i could better establish his abilities as a Cultivator. So far the past Omakes had Xiao Yi fighting solely with formations, and the idea of being on a spying mission provided an excellent reason on why he wasn't using Formations since he was A) Alone with Qing Yun and B) Cannot expose himself.

The Spying Mission also allowed me to play up Xiao Yi's more conventional Asian appearance, since it makes sense for a spying mission to have someone that can blend in with the populace. Which was the same reason QIng Yun can't go since he is pretty noticeable.

This also allowed me to basically " Update " Xiao Yi's appearance since my mental image of him was that he basically hit the 9th stage in his 50ths, so he will appear as middle-aged for most of his life since 3rd Stage being the first bottleneck seems unlikely to be the one that keeps the cultivator looking young.

Lastly, i'm pretty happy about the Arts i mentioned in this Omake. I envisioned it as the Secret Art of his former Clan, as in the original intent of the Spirit Beast Pact i mentioned in the first omake was so that the cultivator could use his bond with his Pact Beast to sense how they use their Qi in their lives and imitate + refine it into a style useable by Humans.

I was inspired by the Animal Series of Boxing techniques from China that originated from imitating Animal actions and turning them into a martial art. This is my Xianxia version, where not just the moves but how the Qi flow is imitated. In Xiao Yi's case, he's imitating Qing Yun as intended. Qing Yun being able to imitate Xiao Yi was due to the bond they shared + Qing Yun actually being pretty smart for a non mythical Spirit Beast.

@occipitallobe Fate Bonus for this please. I'll probably see if i can expand on the search for the Wood and turning it into a new weapon as another omake.

P.S: Title is basically since a Righteous Cultivator won't have bother tricking and backstabbing the Bandits.

Questions
1) Are body cultivators exclusively fist fighters, or can they also use weapons as well?
2) What do mortals eat? It is mentioned that this place is a desert, and oases are a thing. But is there a lot of forest and farmland around? The huge cites need to feed on something

Need it for my next Omake. Which will hopefully be created at some point

@occipitallobe

Worldbuilding largely has it that the various settlements have a lot of formations and infrastructure set up to emulate a better and more fertile region, so I'd figure "Mortals eat normal food for the most part"

Body Cultivators can use whatever weapons they want as well, it's just that those weapons are supplement to their raw flex energy as opposed to special power generators of their own.

While we are asking questions about combat techniques and the setting, I have one of my own. Flying Swords.

They are huge genre staple, but I am wondering how we are presenting them, since it tends to vary a lot in different novels. In some having a flying sword and being able fly around on it is A Big Deal and sign of great advancement/wealth. In others like I Shall Seal The Heavens they are almost literally ten a penny. ISSTH's protag basically has 'swarm the enemy in cheap flying swords and then have them explode' as his signature move in the early chapters.

Its a niggling little thing, but would be interested in hearing opinions on it.

On a sidenote I should totally see if I can get Minervina a flying cauldron or something.

Flying cauldron is the best thing I've heard of in a while.
I have to think of a weapon for my guy to ride

for the flying swords, I think it will be semi-rare. You have to be at Soul realm to fly by yourself, so probably, you need to be at core realm to use a sword to fly, unless it's easier here and a formation level can fly with a sword.

(1) 'Body cultivator' refers to those who exclusively cultivate their bodies to the point of ensuring their fists and feet are as weapons. Everyone cultivates their body, though. But body cultivators per se usually don't use weapons. They can, but spending huge amounts of money on magical weapons and armor when you've already spent huge amounts of money ensuring you can fight against weapons and armor bare-handedly is considered wasteful.

(2) All sorts of things!

So, when people think 'desert', they think 'rolling sand dunes'.

However, when I thought about the Organ Meat Desert's geography, I primarily drew on two notions.

One, the Taklamakan Desert. In here there are semi-deserts that have sufficient rain to have some plant life, and grasses and shrubs certainly aren't uncommon. Most of it is raw desert, of course, but there are liveable areas, small rivers, etc.

Secondly, this is xianxia. There are sand dunes higher than Mt Everest out here - absurd scale is part and parcel of the setting. And where there are massive sand mountains, there'll be minor rain shadows. So there are areas with small rivers that are effectively scrubland where animals can be grazed, some water-light crops grown, etc. Bear in mind the area the Clan rules is roughly ~50% the size of Earth, and it's all land area - you rule almost 2x the land area of Earth. So there's a lot of variation, even in a desert.

Lastly, there are massive wells, oases, etc. Again - xianxia. An oasis medieval city might support tens of thousands, but an oasis here might be 100x larger and support over a million people. So there will be large plots of irrigated land around cities, which won't be too dissimilar to a regular plains city.

In terms of food... for a city-dweller it might be similar to normal fare. For a small village or a peasant living in the wilds...

I personally think agave would be a big one. Edible flowers, chewable stalks to yield fibers for clothing, sugary syrup (which can be fermented). Dates of course - probably the key crop for many - and dried fruit, dried meat, pickled vegetables, etc - plenty of foods that can be stored for long times for when the village yields less. Shrubs like mesquite that have pods to mill and store as flour, edible cacti fruits or seeds, figs.

Also hunting rabbits and birds, and the like.

While we are asking questions about combat techniques and the setting, I have one of my own. Flying Swords.

You can fly on an artifact. In Core Formation you can fly for hours, even a day or more if you have a spatial item and plenty of spirit stones to keep yourself in the air, as well as an item enchanted for flying to carry you. Foundation Building experts can sometimes use flight as a limited thing - though usually it's more 'throw yourself in the air' - real, sustained flight might last for <60 seconds at that level.

In Qi Condensation unless you have a really rare item enchanted for flight and enough wealth to use it (usually this means being the prized young master of a clan the size of the Golden Devils), you're at best jumping.

tl;dr, flight takes a lot of Spiritual Qi for everyone who isn't a Nascent Soul, and even the Plains can't support it easily. You can make up the Qi with Spirit Stones if you really want to, but people rarely do because burning money like that is usually nonsensical.

@occipitallobe
Quick question. I'm trying to work out the situation on punching up in Qi condensation for my omake (Wei Feng is only 2nd Heavenstage, though his initial cool thing was a body tempering method).

My feeling would be that he'd need to strike from stealth (since everyone above him is 2x his speed), but that he could probably take on one stage above (3) from ambush and overcome their durability advantage, but stage 4 would be almost impossible (x5 durability for his x2).

Is this reasonably accurate? I'm not sure how much or a difference our initial cool things bonuses can make. Fortunately his new artefact from last turn means he can strike from disguise as a mortal.

Body-wise, it's plausible to kill someone in Stage 4 - he'd need either a specialised technique (my fingers can become knives!), an actual magical bladed weapon, a poison, etc and a lucky hit. He wouldn't be smart to plan on doing so with regularity, though. If he got a single crippling blow of some kind in early, though, it's plausible he'd weaken an enemy enough to kill them as well.

You have altered the deal. Thankfully, you don't need to pray as you can't alter it any further.

Hah, now we get the turn tick-over and I can get to planning Rina's Big Adventures?

We're only about to enter the start of Turn 3 and the voting therein, so you've got plenty of time.

As a rule, as long as you post an omake before I post the Good Seed Update, it counts towards that upcoming update.
Personally I think you should let people select omake bonuses it turns further ahead if they had already done omakes prior. Don't what to incentivise people to not release their omakes earlier, after all. So if you did 3 omakes on turn 1, you can select omake bonuses on turn 2 and turn 3, even if you didn't write omakes then.

Part of my problem is that it feels like it weakens longer omake, and incentivizes artificial omake breakup.

That being said, I don't have a very strong opinion on this.

While I'm writing the update, I'd appreciate more thoughts from the thread on the above.

Yeah, the point is that you shouldn't actively encourage people firing off short bits again and again, but greater effort and focus should also be rewarded.

There's too much changing between turns as well to make "Let people pick bonuses for later turns" a good idea as well. Especially since Fates can still generate the stuff we get from Bonuses too, right?

Again, I see what you're trying to get at, but way too much changes on a turn by turn basis for that to feel like a great idea?

The current system where each Turn is its own block, and omake written in that block effects the 'Final Results' score of the turn. 3-4 days to produce at least some content doesn't seem unreasonable to me? And it strikes me that spreading your 'Effect' across multiple turns seems... Risky, given how unfortunate things can get with bad dice rolls.
