Hereafter [Worm x Fate/Grand Order]

I enjoyed Silver and Steel a lot, but somehow I enjoy this way more, and I'm not sure why.

Looking forward to the next few chapters.

Isn't it Sangreal?

And glad to see Fou pop up
Sangraal, Sangreal, Sangrail, it's all the same.

Maybe because I learned a lot from writing Essence and I have a more solid plan of what I'm going to be doing with this story.

Apropos of nothing, everyone, I think I'm going to stream my GSSR + Gramps rolls tonight.

"A Heroic Spirit…capable of using imitations of other Servants' Noble Phantasms?" she muttered thoughtfully. "Could it be… No, but why would someone like that be an Archer, of all things? I'd expect that from a Caster."

So...any hints on who this figure Olga is thinking of? Cause I'm pulling up a blank on which servant can copy other servants' NP aside from EMIYA.

"I sure picked an interesting Master, alright!"

If that's what you think now, I can only imagine what you'd say if you heard about Scion.

If he did he probably would be even more eager to sleep with you Taylor.

And hm, that is a pretty nice ship, honestly. Cu is a delightful guy and Taylor could use some... well... some revelry after all the bullshit she has been through. She IS 19 now, so... live a little, woman.

And yeah, I honestly can't wait for Cu and her to start sharing the dream cycle as they become closer.

And yay! Fou! ...sad she is probably not going to be friendly with Taylor from the initial interaction. But hey, Fou was always sortof the interaction with the other group. But Taylor is going to be there to have fun.

And attract the hottest guy Servants like the wild, dark haired beauty that she is. Heh.

Very fun chapter, and it went down pretty much exactly how I figured it would, excepting that I thought we'd at least begin the fight against EMIYA, but ending here isn't bad either as it wasn't as bad a cliffhanger. Still really wish I could hibernate the week away with a flick of a mental switch though.

Question for you @James D. Fawkes, will Taylor be summoning her permanent Servant once they return to Chaldea after this Singularity or are you planning on doing it sometime else? Feel free to "RAFO" me if you feel you must, I'm merely curious.

Taylor is 21 in this not 19.
She was 18 during GM and this is 3 years later.

2 years actually. She's 20. GM started late June 2013, just after she turned 18. The Grand Order started July 30th, 2015. So she's only 20, so still not legal to drink in the US. Not that she'd care about such things as petty as a law if she wanted to drink. Though she wouldn't drink if it was a bad time like when she was on a mission, and possibly never if her mother died to a drunk diver.

Even better. Totally missed that.

I mean, if the main character of the game can have a harem of fate girls as all the stories seem to imply... Taylor can get herself a bunch of really hot male servants looking after her.

Heh. That'd be fun. And something Taylor deserves after all the Suffering she has been through.

Imagine when multiple Cu's begin hitting on her at the same time... the chaos would be so damn funny.

Then the Valkyries join in, and everything goes off the rails.

Shakespeare is on the side, chronicling the events for another of his plays.

You know one servant that might be compatible with Taylor? Old Man Li Shuwen. A mentor figure that is also a veteran fighter. Taylor sorely needed one of those in her cape days...

I'm looking forward to when Taylor meets Caster Gilgamesh in that particular story, myself.

I imagine that Gilgamesh would highly respect Taylor, in any of his forms. She repeatedly fought well above her weight class and won, and her greatest achievement was accomplished by sacrificing everything to save humanity across countless worlds. He would still be arrogant as hell to her, cause Gilgamesh is who he is, but he'd also respect her for her drive and dedication to doing the right thing. He's always been trying to bring out the best of humanity and even in Stay Night he wanted to wipe the slate clean and start over from what I remember, so she'd have earned his respect regardless of where or when they might meet.

Li Shuwen would likely get along with her, probably, based on their drive to accomplish their respective goals. I say probably because if Taylor was feeling adrift and without purpose after GM, he would not respect her. That isn't the case in this story though, so they'd probably get along great here. We'll see once we get to America though.

Caster brushed it off with another laugh. "I'm not going to be lectured by the likes of you."
As expected of a Heroic Spirit, your instincts is damn sharp to shoot a pot shot like that!

Also forgot to ask but did James had gotten into details about the characteristics of the Servants why they are different than canon? Cause just personal is that it ruins the immersion so to say in my end... Or is it just me?

Anyways found TYPO's @James D. Fawkes
into a fight with another woman warrior named Aífe — you're Cúchulainn of Ulster!"
warrior woman
"— then we'll just have to put your Master on the line!"
Masters
"He what?" Romani demanded furiously. "Caster, you lunatic! Just what kind of game are you playing, using your Noble Phantasm against Mash?"
what?!
but she didn't tease out its true name.
True Name
"Does she need to know its true name?" asked Ritsuka.
True Name
invocation of its true name," Romani explained patiently
True Name
what you could expect from the true name invocation, but at the very least
True Name Invocation

He's been spot on in regards to the characters of the Servants (Medusa and Cu), so I'm not sure what you're talking about? Could you be more specific? They're very much in character, and Cu being a Caster in Singularity F is Canon so I'm not sure what your complaining about.

Agreed entirely. And I mean, with Taylor now in the Fate universe... she saved, quite literally, more lives then any other Fate Hero in the Throne of Heroes. More earths. More alternate Gaias, more anything.

She destroyed herself and drove herself to madness to do it, and utterly and completely conquered and destroyed something that would give the greatest of TYPEs or Beasts a run for their money.

So yeah, I could see Gilgamesh respecting the hell out of her too.

I wonder... did Gaia and Alaya arrange for Taylor to end up in Chaldea Earth, rather than Contessa throwing her through the portal?

A lot of questions there.

I also can't wait for Taylor to meet Caster Gil, I've been thinking of it since this story started. Taylor did kill an alien, 'god' to some, and I'm fairly sure he hates both of those. I can picture him demanding everyone from Chaldea prove themselves to him then just casually giving her a pass and maybe immediate orders to help somewhere.

Taylor also has such great stories to tell, the time she rotted off dragons disk, the time she fought and even held off the Leviathon for a bit, the time she drowned an invulnerable woman with bugs...

He's taking his cues from the anime rather than the game, if that's what you're talking about.
Was saying about the color of the hair, I know its a strange nitpick but I get jarred 'bout the hair color. I know Taylor is a shitty PoV and its me holding it in the situation that most of the lights in F right now is plain fires with smog around for the hair color to be that off in her PoV.

You know, I am of the opinion that Mash calling it LORD Chaldeas is, in part. Her subconsciously drawing a tiny bit of the true name.
Becuase it's Lord Camelot…

(Also, the best solution I've ever seen to Ritsuka gender uncertainty is that the ONE magecraft they can use is a Gender Shift spell.
The fact that it forced them to see things differently (being flexible) is what facilitates them handling the wide spectrum of Servant Personalities.
(The source is the Sprite Comic 'Daily Chaldea')
- it's just such a convienent answer, and provides a reason just why they are a poor Magus)
