That's a lowercase sixth Singularity, though. The capital Sixth Singularity is more of a title that refers it being the sixth Singularity whose purpose is explicitly to anchor the incineration of humanity.
what has taylor been telling them? jeez, while brutes probably have like a hidden striker and mover rating, strikers tends to be for melee focused powers specifically, like summoning swords, having claws, inducing cancer at a touch, being able to empower an object etc. they should not be hearing 'super strength' and think striker.
i do wonder if taylor taught them the rhyme tho, lmao

I think, genuinely, at first it might be an issue, but after like the first encounter jackie will decide that young taylor is not the same as her mommy, probably after taylor actually explains the situation.

A Striker with the ability to empower punches is the same level of super strength essentially as a Brute, so I can understand not understanding when being first introduced to the paradigm.
yeah, but that's only a misunderstanding that happens from poor explanations, it's fairly easy to just say 'striker is melee powers, blaster is ranged powers, shaker is area of effect, brute is body empowerment/survivability' etc. and that it is possible to be more than one category at once, knowing that striker is just any melee focused power and that a power can be two categories at once explains it entirely

While a few people are pointing out the EX Rank, I would like to just quickly remind people that EX is not above A Rank. EX simply means that it doesn't follow typical classification rules. And with Earth Bet likely not being a proper part of human history, but still needed to ensure Scion's death and the safety of humanity across other realities easily means it's far harder to properly rank.

don't forget, even in the canon timeline the Master of Chaldea drops into the middle of a battlefield between the augmented forces of the Americans and the Celts. we could still end up with them in Brockton Bay, i'm not discounting that, but all we know is that they're dropping into the middle of a battle

That would be sort of a contradiction. Armsy's thing is individual efficiency. Dragon merged with Edison fits better. Naturally a dragon armour loudly announcing herself as Presi-king works great.
Especially if it renders her immune to Saint.
I'm envisioning Dragon using her typical voice to spout every line Edison does in the singularity.

There is so much wrong with Presiking Dragedison that I'm just going to say she's Canadian and call it a day.
I have stitches in my toe from yesterday, am in a wholely disproportionate amount of pain, and anything that gets me even mildly active (like forum silliness) raises my blood pressure making it hurt worse. And I have work tomorrow, lovely. Why does all the fun happen when I'm miserable?

There are a multitude of ways to deal with him without nukes, not to mention the long term problems detonating one. Also, reducing everyone who doesn't want to nuke him into a follower is just a thoughtless idea.
A bit sad that we can't have Taylor introduce Jackie to the Othersiders. Really would have liked to see those reactions.
Also sad that we can't force Piggot to deal with Nero.
Personally, given that this one has been brewing since almost the start, I'm expecting something completely out of the left field.
But staying in the box with what we know, well the next singularity got Hijacked by the eventual big bad and had a completely different initial setup, no? Canon American singularity in all it's poorly written glory, except Brockton Bay got dropped in the middle of it and now the Celts have to deal with random soldiers suddenly triggering, while the forces of Earth Bet are trying to figure out what the fuck's going on.
And interference from an unrelated timeline followed by a prasitic alien invasion would probably qualify for 'EX' on it's own, I think.
Just having the Shards there would derail history something fierce.
Also sad that we can't force Piggot to deal with Nero.

Kind of surprised they aren't taking Jackie. A lot of problems on bet can be resolved by a quiet knife in the back. Given the situation I would have taken Jackie for local threats, Emiya for overall utility, and a heavy hitter in case of endbringer.
Granted, not bringing Jackie also makes sense if Taylor doesn't want her to be a murder machine. Shame that we won't get to see Jackie the Ripper vs. Jack Slash.

Also I might have missed something but to those saying they're sad they didn't bring Jackie because of how strong she'd be, don't they still have the Shadow Servant system? It's not like they can't call on Jackie when a Stranger's touch is needed. The ones brought immediately are ones that they think are going to be needed the whole time.
