It's extravagant and flamboyant - I'll allow it.
Fraid to tell you that while these are traditional and you might find them in niche cafes or pubs but apart from Bacon Sandwich (the fillings of which vary widely apart from it including bacon), and bangers and mash those aren't widely eaten anymore at all (though Bubble and Squeak is in Northern Ireland still). A far more typical lunch in most cases would be a toastie or a Pasty of some description or a jacket potato with something if you're getting something while you're at work.(Please don't laugh at the names of these meals - this is British cuisine, I didn't pick the names, okay? And I have no idea if any British people would actually eat this for lunch, my research is inconclusive because most of what I'm finding is goshdarn recipes instead of cultural analytics. So annoying.)
[ ] Haggis, Neeps, and Tatties - A savoury pudding made of sheep offal, with a side of diced turnips, and fresh potatoes.
[ ] Bacon Sandwich - A few slices of fried bacon in between slices of toast bread, with a hint of Worcestershire sauce and cheese.
[ ] Mashed Potatoes and Faggots - An exquisite plate of mashed potatoes topped with several pork offal meatballs, as well as a side of green peas.
[ ] Bubble and Squeak - A classic dish made from cooked potatoes and cabbage, mixed together and fried, then topped with a sunny-side-up egg.
[ ] Spotted Dick - A traditional British steamed pudding, historically made with suet and dried fruit and often served with custard.
[ ] Bangers and Mash - It's what you had for breakfast, essentially. Don't experiment and be inventive; stick to what works.
[ ] Write-in - Must be something that could be reasonably served here. Not recommended; QM may veto.
Hmm, good to know. I'll make sure to look into these and include them in your next food vote!Fraid to tell you that while these are traditional and you might find them in niche cafes or pubs but apart from Bacon Sandwich (the fillings of which vary widely apart from it including bacon), and bangers and mash those aren't widely eaten anymore at all (though Bubble and Squeak is in Northern Ireland still). "Where's the beer-battered cod and thrice-fried chips with a splash of vinegar and sea salt? What the fuck is wrong with these House Elves?"
She is indeed, though she isn't as good as Harry. (Yet.)
Well...this isn't how I pictured us getting to Pirate Potter, but I'll take it.Spotted dick for lunch? But that's a dessert! And bangers and mash for breakfast? These house elves are going to give these children scurvy
