Good point. We should ask the demon if there is a passenger. What do you think of the possibility that Matthews is in the car?

That's a fair point. Though on that topic, how exactly are we going to ask that question?I'm not opposed to an alpha strike on Kartrina via vehicular demoncide, if such an outcome is still feasible, but before we do that we should at least confirm where Cindy is first.
Which is why I said "It probably isn't the Exalted/WoD answer" yes.

I assume there's something since it's in the default vote set, but now that we're back in the city we don't have a target in the scene that links to her. Or does something like a picture of her house count?
Propably zero since she has been another kind of powerful supernatural being for ages?
By the way does anyone have the link to that one site with a bunch of dresden files questions and answers given by jim butcher? not reddit. I lost some bookmarks permanently due to having to reset some things and I can't find it.
Kinslayer. That will do it.
Really low in my estimation. If she had that sort of mojo going for her Uriel would probably be a lot more active here, and we certainly wouldn't have walked away so easily.
Maybe, but getting them involved would probably suck for us. Nothing we're about to do is very legal, and they seem perfectly happy to ignore the truth if they have a good excuse even if it was. An FBI raid would end with us in jail or on the run.Last time we were at Harry's the FBI tried to plant a tracker on us.
I wonder if they are still there.
I meant that more in the sense that they might try to follow us.Maybe, but getting them involved would probably suck for us. Outside Fate doesn't mean the same thing as in Exalted.REASON
Kattrina is a Seer. Molly is Outside Fate.
That means that wherever Molly gets involved, Sight gets muddled for her.
So we should try to talk to who we think is the Ankou.
If we've been talking for an hour, it should be around 1.30PM now.
She's a seer.Getting Cindy released would be nice, but I'm highly tempted to just kill Kat on the side of the road somewhere.
I did call that revealing our ability with spirits would be relevant.
As far as Gard known Katrina can cast, in rough order of difficulty:
Kinslayer. That will do it.
Sounds like a prime candidate for Nemesis possession; dissatisfaction with one's nature and an intent to change it at all costs.
@Alratan might well be right that this is a Nemesis plot.
But really, prime example of the "Calculated risk. Bad at math " meme.
She sacrificed her Valkyrie and Mentor 5 backgrounds, along with 3 of her sisters, for two measly spells, a Kinslayer reputation and an Enemy 5 drawback and several hundred years on the run.
Not a full-fledged wizard, with a wizard's toolkit, but a time mage.
If Im understanding this correctly, she can instacast Slow and Stop on others, plus whatever bullshit rune magic and her necromancers bring to the table.
I am going to note that Slow and Stop are effects that we have seen Nemesis use, and that there is literally an Outsider known as the Lord of Slowest Terror. And given that its been two decades since Monoc lost track of her, Kattrin may have improved; something like combat precog might well be on the table.
It means the same things.Outside Fate doesn't mean the same thing as in Exalted.
In ExWoD Fate is barely functional and whatever divination works does not depend on it.
Here we don't really know what being outside fate means.
What of wireless/remote controlled vibrators?
They're sold retail, and Molly can presumably walk into a sex store and out with several, then have them taped to their backs.
Are those strong enough? And can she expect Clippy to be able to run them with the cellphone's transmitter?
I disagree with the argument on the morality of offing an ageless nazi serial killer with a thing for spiritual cannibalism, but the situation with Lydia isn't a good argument for amorality here.People are happily voting to leave Lydia and her father in immediate and lethal danger without a care, so I don't see that as a real driver of behaviour.
Supposing she can't actually see Molly, doesn't that mean she can't see what we're about to do? A counter ambush interrupted by a highly dangerous surprise attack you couldn't account for isn't really a counter ambush very long. She's a seer.
She can almost certainly track Gard. Good chance of a counterambush.
Cant see Molly, might be able to see Michael when he's not carrying Ammy.
It sounds like 1. fails against IPM. Not sure about the others. As far as Gard known Katrina can cast, in rough order of difficulty:
- Perception-Warp, which is an enchantment that leaves you standing around while the world spins around you and critically that you can only break with a will roll. Since she is not actually altering the flow of time she can just freely stab the victim while they cannot percieve her properly. Also good for taking prisoners in broad daylight from a public place
- Slow, which takes away some of your dice when fighting her, you do not know how many but it is an unfair number
- Stop, can be used on people, can be used on sniper bullets and like slow it gets used instantly

For one, we don't actually know for sure what her deal is and until we do we're basically gambling in a crisis situation. Given the seriousness of the situation we can probably set aside our previous concerns and just use the crown to determine if she or her father are in trouble though.
For another, we're actively trying to resolve the situation before it would become a problem for them; that's hardly abandoning them to their fate. Not being how you want to solve the problem isn't the same as being a morally wrong way to go about it.
Is number three absolute or can it be resisted? One definitely falls, it is enchantment, the others actually warp time so you would need a shaping defense against them.
