Green Flame Rising (Exalted vs Dresden Files)

[X] Lydia flares her anima to see if any lingering ghosts want to talk

Worst case- we will have an amazing fight here, rather than deeper in. Or at least alert something big, evil and lazy deeper in.

Won't tell us who the guardians are, if any, but will tell us their ambush plans.

If we're going loud maybe we should make some more preparations first?

I don't see why we shouldn't bring a stack of murder bots with us, preferably ones armed with balefire flamethrowers and short swords. Either the real deal or as solid summons via EMH.

In fact, Molly's multi attack charm is severely hampered by a lack of minions.

Wouldn't the transport itself be noticeable? I thought we were trying to talk to the ghosts.

But if feasible, yeah, bring in some turrets and heavy combat archeologists with us.

This works.

No, Urge is once per scene Essence regeneration, the crown is essentially a charm like the Excellency or anything else can be used repeatedly on anything and everything we want to use it on it just costs essence to use and on a good use can trigger the Urge.

At this point not having minions is giving up combat potential from Molly's build. Might as well give it a shot if we're going to be screaming into the void regardless.
Ok, that's fair enough

Admittedly you are in the middle of the desert, no one comes to this place both because there is nothing here and because there is something here. So if you wanted to bring more minions odds are good no one would notice.

That works, but for my part I'm still wary of bringing minions without an escape hatch for their souls on this sort of mission.

Right now we only really have war weavers as infantry androids, but we should probably expand on that at some point so we have more options at times like these.

? We discovered that those who have serve Molly enough to fall under MiS are reincarnated in the Courts when we tried to resurrect the wizard ghosts. I actually asked about that. Here:
Oh... That is interesting. Can we take this as tentative evidence that at least gurvel who are all racially under MiS effect will return to Sanctuary if they die on Earth?
Yes, that seems reasonable to assume

That isn't confirmation, that's a reasonable IC assumption. We don't know it's true, or what qualifiers apply to it in this case. Like say fighting things that specifically target mortal souls as blamps have been known to do. Unlike the sutra, which operate on a known paradigm.

Risk is evaluated in terms of the severity of a negative outcome and the likelihood it may occur. The negative outcome here is someone's soul being taken to true death or worse, which is nearly an infinite severity result.

There's a practical point where you have to proceed, but I think it needs to be known fact and not any sort of guess.

Not a lot of votes and I'm feeling a bit under the weather. I'll leave the vote up until tomorrow morning if you guys don't mind. Normally I would do an interlude since those are less complicated to roll for, but that would kind of break the flow here.
