By the way given the setting is actually meshed together to some extent and names and stuff can change and mantles can be varied. Some of the world of darkness Yama kings could also be literally the same being as some demons with different names. Even word of Jim says stuff like he took the word of catholic which means universal and took that when making dresden files even stuff that you don't know is holy could be holy. So something like yhwh also being the jade Emperor wouldn't surprise me for instance.

@DragonParadox, would really, really salty water qualify for Charred Sinner Renewal? I know that might seem like a copout, but water with a super high salinity is absolutely lethal to anything except robust and specialized extremophiles.

You get one rolls every 15 minutes, even without stunting the fact that tens count as doubles should get you to 5 in a matter of hours not days. I did a test just now and got it in 16 tries which is 4 hours, not easy, but also not days.

As far as I can see... nothing, charm doesn't work. To be in line with other similar duration for charms it would have to be 'you get the demon for one scene'.

Not voting but drafting possible stunt: "You know how people yell at unhelpful phones like they're alive sometimes, even though we all know it's just a hunk of junk? I've realized I can make phones actually come alive and be helpful for once. If I put some of my power in a phone it'll be like a talking pet."
Suggestions on wording welcome. Let's not use the word 'demon'. Possibly mention that if you misplace it around the house, you can shout for it to show up?

Also it should be noted that 4 successes which are a lot easier to get on the charm give you the devil for a year, if you are in a hurry you can just call that good enough and come back to firming up the connection later, maybe with more dots of tech.

That is a valid use of the charm and the demon would be ruthless enough to enforce it.
Actually, something I just realised on re-reading, the spirit of an object that Hollow Mind Possession awakens isn't a demon, it's the pre-existing animistic spirit of the object. The charm just wakes it up and enslaves it.
Of course, the awakened spirit of most objects is probably unbound by moral or ethical concerns, so would be almost as ruthless as a demon, if not actively evil like such an entity would be, so wouldn't take any pleasure from it.
It not being a demon and instead just waking up something that exists within the object anyway probably makes it much more palatable to others, as long as we don't mention the enslaved bit to them, just presenting it as awakening the object spirit.

I re-fluffed that so we would not have to deal with the issues of 'does this spirit understand the world around it' and 'is it OK to command the unquestioning loyalty of something just because you made it?' This way it's easier 'demon makes unbreakable bargain for a way out of hell and into your phone'.

Hmm, a solution that is 50/50 water to salt, or even more skewed toward salt, would probably do the trick. It might not outright kill the person like putting a bullet through their heart, but having their skin destroyed would be no less lethal.
