It's a cumulative +3 to the base DC of 6 on a each d10 of a dice pool right? She doesn't exactly have a wealth of social die to throw at this, so I'd expect that failure rate to be pretty relevant.
The eerie presence one in particular says it raises the difficulty of all rolls related to social interaction with mortals, and some of the comments in the thread have implied that applies to rolls from the mortal end as well.
With their tiny dice pools trying to successfully do anything at DC 8 would be hard.
I'm still hazy on the details of this part of the system, so it's possible I've misunderstood something.
That is correct yes.
No, no. You are completely accurate. It is a Diff 9 (+2 Eerie Presence +1 Cold Breeze) on a D10.
My new build is basically the max amount of Points from Flaws we can have whilst choosing the least debilitating ones.
Honestly that encapsulates what I DON'T like about your new flaw selection.
Its too... safe. Most of those drawbacks are easily ignored or something we were going to have to deal with anyway.
Molly was kidnapped, tortured, and only broke out by essentially selling her soul to a demon to gain the wicked power she needed to save herself, Dresden, and her mother.
That should have consequences. Consequences she can face head on as she wrestles to understand and control her new condition.
Bad dreams? Having the vague and distant disapproval of the winter court? Denarians being our enemies? Disliking Fetches? Not being able to garden without heavy gloves? Oh no!
On top of just kind of being... tepid? Dealing with them also doesn't really make for a very good story. Its mostly just stuff that is completely superfluous to the character.
We are going to be shaken by the experience even without the flaw, were going to be enemies with the winter court even without the flaw, were going to be enemies with the coin collectors club even without the flaw, and were going to hate fetches even without the flaw. I don't think Molly Gardened that much?
And none of these are problematic enough to make us actively want to engage with them. We can and will
ignore all of these because they are just petty annoyances.
