Green Flame Rising (Exalted vs Dresden Files)

It took the entire White Council to put him down, and they and their other allies can be pretty punchy.

With enough death curses from very powerful, competent wizards who knew they were likely to die he could be attrited to death. Exalts in thi setting don't have a huge amount of staying power. They can be worn down.

If there is a connection to the Exalted I would imagine it was actually to the Dragon-Blooded. There are only 700 Celestials; 300 Solars, 300 Lunars, and 100 Sidereals originally before 50 Solars corrupted into Infernals and 100 Solars corrupted into Abyssals.

The Dragon-Blooded meanwhile were called "The Ten Thousand Princes of Earth" which lines up rather neatly.

That was the general speculation when it came to the Kuei-jin, which on an unrelated note, is a God-awful name because it's cobbled together from two separate languages. Essentially, the general speculation was that Solars are connected to the Imbued, Lunars are connected to the changing breeds, Sidereals are connected to the mages, Abyssals are connected to the vampires, and the Dragon-blooded are connected to the kuei-jin. Of course, the connections got dropped by 2nd Edition.

We are not responsible for criminals.
We aren't responsible for anything we have not agreed to be responsible for, here or anywhere else. Regardless, its good to avoid issues. If not for Marcone's sake then for ours, and the sake of whatever innocents might be caught in future crossfires.

I worry more for the poor monks. They are still far from safe themselves. They won't be safe until they are on a plane halfway over either the Atlantic or the Pacific.

We'd probably find out there are like twenty different parties tracking us right now. Winter, Red Court skinsuits, some outsider gribbly, a pawn of what is left of the Ebon Dragon, our dad driving at 100 mph, our mother driving at 125 mph, two different Denarians who very much dislike one another...

I'd rather keep my essence, honestly. Because our day isn't anywhere close to done.

You would get some kind of identifier for anyone who is following the group, if no one is following you if will just register as no one.

Though in the interest of preserving questions you might want to say 'who is following the monks' so you do not burn your questions for say Michael.
does it work off intent cause if it doesn't it would ping off literally anyone behind us on the road?

Michael is also probably followed by some amount of angels.

So that could run into our agreement.

also you know fairly sure they literally have to respect free will its unknown if the angels would even be able to harm us if we actively went against them.

Thankfully the prosecuting attorney is not on big-G God's side here. As long as we have zero intent in getting something related to the man and his coterie I don't believe we'd be in violation if we saw something in our peripheral vision.

We just need to never, ever try to rules lawyer this shit. Not in the slightest way.

only reason we would I think if we know for a fact not questioning it means people die. Seems unlikely to ever come up though.

Okay, what if we ask "Who is following us?".
Probably should be more specific. Something like; "Who is observing or pursuing this van, or scrying upon its contents, due to an interest in the remains of the monk we recovered or the enemies who tried to seize them?"

That would remove a great deal of ambiguity and possibly prevent issues if we need to ask a similar question in the future.

offhand there a better word for who which would net us more info? Right now its fine would be useful to get a good bang for our buck in the future. Also does this cross off a question about the who in this scenario or the pursuit of these very specific monks for this very specific corpse?

We could also do things like, "What did the Nazi's intend to do with the bones", or "Who is the one who gave the order for the Nazi's operation?"
