This is going to be horrifically mentally scarring enough already, we don't need to add to it by going full Demon Lord. While the demon releasing the kid would result in less spiritual damage, being on the receiving end of infernal intimidation would probably have additional mental effects.

It depends on the strategy, skills etc... Though in this case given that the demon refers to itself as 'us' Molly suspects she is in a state where she identifies with the demon and internalizes its reasoning and actions. This is one of the ways to get around that perky free will, convince the human that they are more than human and they instead become less.

Short answer: 'awake but impaired'. Long answer as I said above, she thinks she is the demon, which means that you cannot terrify the demon without doing the same to her unfortunately.

Ah... that is impervious primacy mantle because the demon has an aura of fear/loathing and Molly just instantly burned essence on it because she has it and does not want to risk the admittedly low chance of a will failure.
I'll just go back to the fact that the devil that possessed the girl no longer has an independent existence. The merger of bane and human to produce a fomori creates something new.
You can amputate the bane parts from the merged chimera to separate them, like you can do with a gangrenous, but the Bane can't, as I understand it, voluntarily leave, as it doesn't exist as a seperate entity anymore.

If she isn't already then no. None of the charms for us to make CoD have been accepted by the voters.
We have a charm to find out what the demon is most ashamed of which is about as good. Maybe better if we can use it as blackmail.

I think you could make that case in WoD, but this is a less grim universe. The demon can leave, it just really really does not want to do so.

Because they're not lesser demons.
Thing is; that means that fomor/bakemono aren't really a distinct type of creature, they're just temporarily spirit ridden humans. That undermines the reason why Mercy on Servitude works.
It's not about being grim or not; it's about that a fomor isn't just a possessed person, but a new type of creature, like a much lesser type of thing like an Exalt, or a vampire, which is why Celestial Exalts can't become fomori. It's a spiritual transformation not a temporary inhabitation.
You can change that; but it fundamentally changes what a bakemono is. Changing t he back to a human should, in my mind, like a not much lesser version of changing a vampire back into a human. Yes, Exalted charms/spells and high end Magic can do so, but it's an extraordinary feat of power that demonstrates how big deal they are, not something that anyone charming enough can do.
I mean the same thing could be said for the white court in lore. They too are a type of creature that is made up of a mortal/spirit symbiosis. Their Hunger is not going to rip itself free on its own but if an actual saint (of which we know exist in this universe) put their all into persuading them... well that is in theme for the feats of saints.
On the matter of charm, the only difficulty modifiers that apply to this are great holy or unholy power and knowledge. If this were not specifically a demon of Kakuri for which she has the demonic guide as well as DPE and BSM to help this would not work.
While demon is holding onto the girl, the girl might also be holding onto the demon. Or the demon might be using something of the girl to convince her to cooperate with it.
